A/N: It's about time I updated this story too. Man, I'm just updating like crazy today. That's awesome for you guys. Please enjoy the newest chapter of Saving A Surfer.
Blake couldn't take his eyes off of her. Not even for a second. So when Kelly called to let him know Tori was out surfing alone, he knew it wasn't good. It's not like he didn't trust his girlfriend, but just knowing she was out there and he couldn't do anything to protect her drove him crazy and filled him with unnecessary anxiety. Fortunately, his nerves were somewhat eased when he used his morpher to get ahold of Sensei Watanabe and the elder ninja master assured him he would have a few of his friends watching over her (for safety reasons). Falling facedown on the hotel bed, he was filled with a sense of relief-not just for his girlfriend but for the fact he could go back to sleep and he wouldn't be as worried as he was before. Of course he called Shane, he was absolutely insane if he didn't, especially since the skater was only an hour away from Blue Bay and could ninja streak the distance as soon as he knew she was in trouble. He sighed, causing his brother to groan.
"Isn't there a single day we're gone that she doesn't go out and do this? I'd like to get a few more hours of sleep on competition days and not have to listen to you freak out." Blake chuckled, rolling his eyes, his back facing his brother.
"Relax. I just want to make sure she's okay. The last time she surfed alone she ended up in an alternate reality-"
"Caused by Lothor. Who we defeated eight months ago." It was Hunter's turn to sigh. "Look, bro. I get it. Tori means a lot to all of us. But sometimes she needs her space-"
"Which I respect, but I am going to look out for her. That's what I'm programmed to do, that's how I'm wired. She's my girlfriend, and even if she wasn't she's still apart of my-our family. We are all she has. I'm going to protect her, even if it means going behind her back. I can't lose her. Just like I can't lose you or Dustin or Cam or even Shane. We're a team, and teammates support each other." Hunter groaned again.
"I hate it when you get all romantic and supportive so early in the morning." Blake shook his head, rolling his eyes even though his brother couldn't see him.
"Whatever." He smiled, laying back down on the hotel bed. "At least I know she's safe. I hope she's wearing that blue rashguard I bought her last month and the matching board short-" Hunter groaned again and a pillow hit Blake's back.
"Shut up and sleep Loverboy. I do not need the visual of Tori in a bikini. One, she'd kill me. And two, that's your girlfriend." Blake just laughed, closing his eyes, able to sleep peacefully knowing the blonde girl was safe wherever she was.
A/N: Aw, short chapter, but isn't Blake's confession super cute?
