Chapter 2- Diagon Alley
"Ah, the Leaky Cauldron, the most popular wizarding along there, Harry" Albert called out. Entering the pub, Harry found it ironic that no one was actually in the pub. "Follow me, the entrance to Diagon Alley is right here." Albert took out his wand and tapped on the bricks, before slowly stepping back. The bricks parted ways to reveal a archway that lead to the alley. "Wow!" Harry was amazed by the place. There were all sorts of shops, including a quidditch supply shop that caught Harry's attention straight away. "Albert, can I get a racing broomstick. I want to play quidditch when i go to Hogwarts." "Sorry Harry, but it says here first years are not allowed to get their own broom. Maybe next year." Slightly disappointed, Harry was soon distracted by a owlery. "Am i allowed to get a pet then?" "I don't see why not." Albert and Marie chuckled at the sight of Harry racing towards the shop yelling happily.
"Albert, can i get this owl? She looks so beautiful!" Harry asked. "Ok Harry, i will go and talk to the shop owner." 20 minutes later, Harry happily left the shop with Marie and Albert, as well as with a beautiful snowy owl sleeping gracefully in the cage. As Harry already had a wand, they spent the rest of the day getting all the supplies needed before heading back to the leaky cauldron and to their rooms. Albert had informed them that they would be staying for a 3 days in London as Hogwarts would begin in 3 days time. They decided to bring Harry around London to explore.
The 3 days were rather boring and Harry could do nothing but think excitedly about going to Hogwarts. Sure, he was a little sad that he would be away from Marie and Albert for a whole year but the thought of meeting new friends and learning new things made him forget about it soon.
On the evening of the third day, Marie and Albert brought Harry out for a good dinner before heading back to rest. Harry really could not wait any longer
