The loud thud shook the earth.
It's sound echoed in the night.
Suddenly, the world around her kicked into slow motion.
Homura opened her eyes, heart pounding loudly like a sped up metronome, the rest of her moved slowly, but her heartbeat, out of place, was thumping against her chest rapidly.
Her hands were scraped, dried blood all over.
Her legs ached.
She winced as she got up.
"Madoka," Homura groaned.
Then she realized, There it was. The last puzzle piece. Fate had won again. Everything was set.
Red eyes glowed in the darkness.
"I wish...I wish I had a power to erase witches before they're born. Every single witch from the past, present and future, everywhere."
