Summary:
When the clock strikes midnight at 12 of December, time will stop and the story will end in 12 minutes and 12 seconds.
Kagami Taiga, a 17 year old second year high school student, was recently having strange dreams, from the way a red haired girl lived until the way she died. Coincidently, he started having these dreams on the day he arrived in a place called 'Yuki no Yume'. Are these dreams only just mere dreams or maybe...
... It means something else?
In which the KuroBasu characters will experience a situation straight out from a horror story, love unexpectedly bloomed and misunderstandings will be solved.

Recap:
"Let's all meet at 11:00 tomorrow evening, in the entrance. Don't be late." the redhead Rakuzan captain said as he stood up. He motioned for Reo to do the same and the confused Rakuzan shooting guard complied.
Akashi was about to walk out the door when he stopped and turned to the remaining occupants of the room.
"And by the way, those who won't appear tomorrow will receive a punishment worse than death."
With that, Akashi walked out the door with a sweat dropping Reo behind him, leaving a group of scared teens inside the room.
'I think Akashi/ Akashicchi/ Aka-chin/ Akashi-kun is way scarier than the killer himself.'

DreamNight 4: The Horror Begins
December 11
10:59 PM
Finally, the night that most of the member of the horror story telling group dreaded for has arrived.
Standing at the entrance of the 'Yuki no Yume' onsen were Akashi, Reo, Takao, Midorima, Kuroko, Kagami, Himuro, Murasakibara, Izuki, and Hyuuga. Apparently, the others were running late, which made the Rakuzan captain irritated.
After one minute, exactly 11:00 PM, Kasamatsu and Imayoshi, who were dragging their respective Aces: Kise and Aomine, arrived.
"Where's Momoi-san? asked Kuroko.
"She's the only girl in the group so, I exempted her from participating on this activity." Akashi replied. The unwilling members of the group mentally pouted.
"Shall we head out?"
And with that, they started walking towards the forest.

"Man, this forest sure is dark. Let's walk in the front, Shin-chan!"
"Quit dragging me, Takao."
"S-Senpai, please don't let me go!"
"Stop hugging my arm, Kise! It's getting numb!"
"Muro-chin, I'm hungry..."
"Here, Atsushi. Taiga, please let go. I can't walk properly if you keep on hugging me."
"Tatsuya..."
"Kagami-kun, you can hold my hand if you're that scared. Don't worry, I'll definitely protect Kagami-kun."
"T-Thanks, Kuroko."
"Heh, Bakagami is such a scaredy-cat."
"Says the one who kept on hiding behind my back."
"Imayoshi-san, shut up."
"Urusai, Ahomine! As soon as I can see in this darkness, I'll definitely punch your guts!"
"No guts, no glory."
"Shut up, Izuki."
All throughout the conversations (that slowly escalated to arguments), the red haired, heterochromatic eyed captain of Rakuzan kept walking in the front, ignoring all the noises at the back. Beside him was the Rakuzan shooting guard who was chuckling at the scene behind them.
"Those guys sure are lively." Reo commented, giggling as he saw Aomine hide behind Imayoshi when Kise placed his hand on the dark blue haired teen's shoulder.
"Hn. How far until we arrive at the mansion, Reo?"
"Hmm, I think we're almost there." As soon as those words came out of Reo's mouth, a hand suddenly came out of nowhere and covered the black haired teen's mouth and he disappeared into the shadows.
"Reo!"
Hearing Akashi's voice, the group at the back stopped talking and looked ahead of them.
"Akashi, what happened?" asked Midorima as he and the others ran towards the silent redhead, who seemed to be holding something on his right hand.
"Tch. Reo got kidnapped."
"WHAT?!"
The others look surprised and horrified as Akashi showed them the object he was holding.
A freshly picked black rose.
"You have got to be kidding me."

"You shouldn't move too much, young master. You will only get hurt if you do."
"Ichiru, wh-"
"Rei-sama, you shouldn't worry too much. I'll always be here to protect you from harm."
"Ichiru... Please..."
"I'll see you later, Rei-sama. Please take care."
"Ichiru..."

After much deliberation and planning, the Kiseki no Sedai (plus Kuroko), Imayoshi, Takao, Himuro, Kasamatsu, Izuki and Hyuuga finally arrived at the mansion in the middle of the forest. But it seems a new problem arose as they started to realize that...
"Kagami-kun isn't here."
Everyone froze. They all looked around in search for the missing redhead jumper when they all caught sight of a black rose placed in the ground. Kuroko picked it up with his left hand while his right hand was clenched into a fist.
"You've got to be freaking kidding me. First, its Mibuchi, now its Kagami?!" exclaimed a frustrated Hyuuga. Izuki placed his hands on the clutch shooter's shoulder in order to calm him down.
"This is getting out of hand, Akashi."
"I know."
"Wait, it's weird."
They all looked at Kise, who seemed to be in a thinking mode.
"What's weird? That our friends are missing because a freaking killer kidnapped them?" Aomine exclaimed. Kise nodded, surprisingly calm even though he was yelled at by his former teammate.
"Yeah, that's the point. Isn't the killer supposed to be kidnapping girls instead of boys?"
They all blinked at the yellow-head, surprised that Kise was able to noticed such reasonable idea.
"Well, Reo-san can be mistaken as a girl since he has a feminine appearance but Taiga clearly looks masculine." Himuro said.
"Yeah, there's no way the killer can mistook him for a girl." Takao stated.
All throughout the exchange, Imayoshi and Izuki were being strangely quiet which was not went unnoticed by the Emperor eye redhead.
"What do the two of you know about this?"
Imayoshi and Izuki slightly jumped upon hearing the question addressed to them.
"What was told to all of you were the only things you only need to know." Imayoshi responded.
"Anymore of that will lead to something bad. And everything will be chaotic and confusing." Izuki continued.
"What are the two of you talking about?! Mibuchi and Kagami are missing and might be in danger of being killed, and all you can say is that?!" Kasamatsu shouted.
"Senpai, please calm down."
"What are you hiding? The things you seem to be hiding might help us find and rescue Taiga and Reo-san. So, why can't you just say it?" Himuro calmly asked.
"Thats the point. We can't tell you 'everything'." Izuki stated, his expression slightly fearful.
"If we told you that Mibuchi-san is co-" Izuki's sentence was interrupted when he suddenly coughed. He covered his mouth as his coughs continued while a worried Imayoshi soothingly rubbed his back. As soon as the eagle-eyed teen took his hand away from his mouth, the others gasped as they saw the blood dripping from his hand and mouth.
"Izuki!" came a frantic cry from Hyuuga. The Seirin point guard gave the clutch shooter a painful smile as the black haired, glasses wearing shooting guard fussed over him.
"Hyuuga, I'm fine."
"Fine, my ass! You're coughing up blood!"
"Yeah, that's the thing we're hoping to try evading to happen." Imayoshi said. All the attention immediately went from Izuki to him.
"When we say something that might help you solve the mystery, we'll cough up blood and might lead ourselves earlier through Death's door."
Everyone grew silent while Hyuuga helped a recovering Izuki to stand properly.
"You mentioned something about 'mystery'. What exactly is this mystery you're talking about?" Akashi asked, his expression serious. The black haired ex-captain of Touou adjusted his glasses as he, too, spoke in a serious tone.
"The real story of 'Black Rose' and the true identity of the 'Joker'."

"Rei-kun? Is that you? Why are you wearing your mask?"
"..."
"Are we supposed to be playing the 'Royalty Game' today?"
"..."
"Rei-kun, why are you holding a knife? Its bloody too. The cooks will surely scold you once they found out you snuck out one of their kitchen knives."
"..."
"Rei-kun? Why won't you talk to me? Is there something wrong? Do you have some sore throat again?"
"Hikari-chan! Get away from him!"
"Eh? Akari-kun?"
"!"
"Hikari-chan, watch out!"
"!"

"The real story of the 'Black Rose'?" Midorima said.
"But I thought you already told us the true story of the 'Black Rose' last night..." Murasakibara stated. Izuki shook his head.
"Some of it are real. Some of it are not. Some of it are misleading and there are some details that are missing."
"Misleading?" Takao mumbled.
"Let's set that aside. We should find Kagami-kun and Mibuchi-san first." Kuroko said, reminding them of the real problem at hand. He left no room for arguments as he started opening the door of the mansion.
The double doors creaked open, and surprisingly, the interior of the mansion wasn't old looking as the masnsion itself. It has two marble-made stairs that each lead to different sides. In the middle of the stairs was another door with a feather-like seal at the middle-top of it.
"Eh? Strange... The mansion's interior isn't dusty as I expected it to be." Takao commented, silently observing the house with his hawk-eye.
"Hey, guys, look at this portrait." Kasamatsu said, pointing the light of the flashlight he was holding at the portrait placed on top of the middle door.
On the portrait was the image of five teens. two black haired males, a red haired and blue haired princes and a red-black haired girl. Each of them holding a rose with the same color as their hair. In the middle of the red haired prince and the red-black haired girl was a black panther, which seemed to look bored, and at the top of the black haired male with a pair of stunning violet colored eyes was a black eagle, which, like its master, was holding a black rose on its beak. All of them possessed a smile that can somehow brighten the entire room if not for the eerie looking tears at the throat=part of the painting of the red haired prince and the red-black haired girl, that can be deduced that it was made by a knife.
"Ichiru, Prince Kage, Rei, Prince Akari and Hikari." Izuki mumbled.
Everyone looked at the black haired, eagle-eyed teen as he looked at the portrait with a sense of longing-ness that can be seen on his black colored eyes. Behind him stood Imayoshi, who also stared at the portrait with a sad smile. He shrugged his shoulders and clapped his hands which made the others snapped out of their thoughts.
"If we're gonna find Kagami and Reo, we might as well separate into four groups." the ex-Touou captain declared.
"If that's the case, lets plan first on what group should search on what part of the house." Akashi stated, pulling out a folded paper out of his pocket. He kneeled down and placed the paper on the floor as he started unfolding it. Upon closer inspection, the paper was actually a blue print of the whole mansion, starting from its attic down to its basement.
"For the first group, I want Ryouta, Shun and Junpei to look for the missing duo at the basement." the redhead ex-Teikou captain instructed. The aforementioned trio nodded their heads, though it seemed Kise was about to protest but Hyuuga quickly covered his mouth.
"Kazunari and Shintaro will search on the attic."
"Ok!"
"Hmph. Why do I have to be paired up with this idiot?"
"Aww, Shin-chan, don't be like that! After all, I'm your partner, right?" Takao said, looking at the green haired shooter with his twinkling blue ones.
"Tch."
"Shoichi, Daiki, Yukio and Tetsuya will search on this floor."
"Hai, Akashi-kun."
"Fine, whatever."
"And last are Atsushi, Tatsuya and I. We're going to search on the second floor."
"Ok, Aka-chin..."
"Sure."
"Any comments? If none, then let's start the search."

"Rei-sama, even after all this time, your hair still look as beautiful as ever."

"Don't worry, uninvited guests should still be welcomed in a proper way, like a good hosts that we are right, young master?"
"..."
"Ok, just stay and rest here. I'll be back right after I finish greeting them."
"... Ichiru..."

Group 1: Kise Ryouta, Izuki Shun and Hyuuga Junpei
Location: Basement
Time: 11:45 PM
"Wow, never thought this place has this many rooms in the basement." the yellow haired Kaijou Ace commented, opening the door of one of the rooms in the said place. A few ways away were Izuki, who also opened a door to a closet room, and Hyuuga, whose room he opened was filled with gardening tools.
"I'm starting to doubt that this part of the house is where Kagami and Mibuchi were hidden." Hyuuga said while looking at the Seirin point guard on the corner of his eyes.
"Now that I think about it, shouldn't we report this kind of stuffs to the police?" Kise said. Hyuuga looked thoughtful for a second then he shook his head.
"The nearest police station from this place is located a few blocks away." the clutch shooter replied.
Izuki looked at them seriously as he heard their conversation.
"And also, once you entered the forest, you can never return unless you solve the mystery or..." the eagle-eyed teen trailed off, looking away from the stares coming from his group mates.
"The people who were kidnapped were killed."
The other two shuddered as a cold shiver ran down their spines. The black haired Seirin point guard left the two on their own thoughts as he stared at the door in front of him. His eyes started to widen and he frantically started turning the doorknob but to no avail. The door won't budge.
Seeing the frantic actions of his teammate, Hyuuga quickly approached him with Kise behind him.
"Oi, Izuki, what's wrong?"
The mentioned teen seemed to ignore them as he kept twisting and turning the knob. He gave a frustrated cry and turned to look at Hyuuga.
"O-Oi, Izuki, calm down." the Seirin shooting guard said, his voice sound nervous as he saw the look on his friend's face.
Tears streamed down Izuki's face as he grabbed Hyuuga's shirt and gripped at it. He look like he's in panic and the other two had difficulty in understanding what the frantic teen was trying to say.
"Hyuu-ga... the door... open... inside... please!"
"Izuki, calm down! Take deep breaths. Follow me, ok? Breath in, breath out..."
Izuki followed the clutch shooter's orders and he finally started to calm down. He slowly loosened his grip on Hyuuga's shirt and instead, leaned his head on his friend's chest.
"We need to open that door. Please, Hyuuga. We need to open it before it's too late..." Izuki said, his voice a little low. He grabbed the glasses wearing teen's hand and grip it as if it was his lifeline. Kise and Hyuuga looked at each other, then, to the tired teen.
"Why? What's in there, Izuki-san?" Kise asked. The black haired teen shook his head, and squeezed the hand he was holding.
"Dont tell me, it's one of the things you're not allowed to say." Hyuuga said and was confirmed by the nodding of head of Izuki. The shooting guard smiled softly and patted the eagle-eyed teen's head with his free hand.
"Don't worry, we'll find a way to open the door. Just calm down, ok?"
Izuki finally lifted his head and smiled at Hyuuga in reply.

Group 2: Takao Kazunari and Midorima Shintaro
Location: Attic
Time: 11:47 PM
"Uwa~ this place sure is dusty compared to the other floors." Takao commented, coughing upon arriving at the attic as dust circulated the room. Beside him, Midorima was wiping his glasses with his handkerchief.
"I wonder if the lights are still usable..." the black haired teen mumbled as he flicked the switch. Nothing happened. Takao pouted and proceeded to look around, flashing his light in every corner of the place.
"Takao, come here."
Hearing this partner's beckon, the hawk-eyed teen went closer to the green haired teen, who was opening a dusty, old chest.
"What's inside, Shin-chan?"
Midorima picked a black colored notebook and flipped the pages. When he stopped at the first page, he started to read the writings inside.
"June 21, XXXX, I met someone while strolling around the forest. A red haired boy, the same age as mine, with red colored eyes and seems to be wearing some princely garbs. Seriously, those clothes are weird. Anyway, he was in our forest because he was searching for his pet. And upon finding said pet, I was shocked to learn that it was actually a black panther. I invited him to come with me to the mansion (since our clothes are both filthy) and I (again) found out that he was actually a real prince! To be exact, he's Prince Akari, son of the King of Hearts.
And he actually got the nerve to call me 'young lady'! I'm a boy! Well, I do look girlish and I have long black hair and I was wearing my black kimono but still, I'm a boy!
Well, that's all I've got to write for now (since a certain 'prince' kept on stealing peeks here). Until then.

Both Midorima and Takao's eyes widen upon realizing who's the owner of the black notebook.
"It's Rei's diary..."

Group 3: Aomine Daiki, Kuroko Tetsuya, Imayoshi Shoichi and Kasamatsu Yukio
Location: Ground Floor
Time: 11:45 PM
"Any luck?"
"Nope. They're not here."
"They're not in this room either."
"Nothing."
The four members of the 3rd group sighed.
"At this rate, we'll end up searching for them until dawn."
"We don't have time until dawn to look for Kagami-kun and Mibuchi-san. They might got killed before we even find them." Kuroko said, his face void of emotion and yet his monotone voice was mixed with worry. The dark blue haired Touou Ace patted his former Shadow's head.
"Don't worry too much, Tetsu. Even though he's a Bakagami, he's not dumb enough to let himself get killed without a fight. Though, this search will be over soon enough if only somebody would just tell us what the hell exactly is going on." Aomine said, glaring at his senpai. Imayoshi just looked away and kept silent.
"Oi, Aomine, you shouldn't say that. You do know what will happen if Imayoshi tell us anything that aren't allowed for him say." Kasamatsu reprimanded. Aomine 'tch-ed' and went back to comforting Kuroko. The Kaijou ex-captain sighed and looked at the glasses wearing teen, who was leaning against the wall.
"Oi, Imayoshi, are you-"
He was interrupted when they heard a painful cry from somewhere behind them. They looked and saw Aomine sitting against the wall while clutching his left arm and Kuroko, who was unconscious and in the possession of a black haired teen wearing a joker mask.
"The 'Joker'..." Kasamatsu gasped out. The Joker looked at them and giggled. He, then, dragged the blue haired passing expert inside a room. The door suddenly closed as Kasamatsu and Imayoshi ran towards it. The once Kaijou point guard kicked the door open and they saw Kuroko's hand vanish unto the floor.
"The heck..."
"What happened?! Where's Tetsu?!" shouted Aomine. Kasamatsu walked towards him and helped him stood up while replying.
"He vanished through the floor with the Joker."
The dark blue haired teen paled. Imayoshi, who was still inside the room, snapped out of his thoughts and mumbled a single name.
"Izuki."
The other two snapped their heads up to him as Imayoshi quickly ran towards the staircase. Without any choice, Kasamatsu and Aomine followed.
"What the heck?! Oi, Imayoshi! What's going on?!" Kasamatsu asked. The glasses wearing teen didn't reply instead, he opened the door leading to the basement and continued running.

Judai: Can they find these missing persons? What will happen now that Midorima and Takao found Rei's diary? Who is this 'Joker'? What does Izuki and Imayoshi know about the 'Black Rose'? And who was it that asked to be killed? Too many questions, so little answers...
