"If we don't all stay together we won't survive." Liz muttered. She sat in an armchair, her feet curled underneath her. She fiddled with a loose thread on the hem of her shirt, avoiding the gaze of her best friend.

"I can never forgive Max, I don't know how you stand to sleep next to him every night." Maria lay stretched out on the matching sofa, her hands resting on the swell of her abdomen.

"He doesn't know that I know, Ria."

"Well, you need to tell him, Chica, before I do. And it won't be pretty." Maria rubbed her belly and took a deep breath, "It's all I can do not to deck him. When he cheated on you he betrayed all of us."

"You didn't tell Michael did you, Maria?" Liz sounded panicked.

"No. Michael doesn't know, but I can't keep secrets from him, Liz."

******I DON'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE PAGE BREAKS IN THIS FREAKING THING************

"I don't know what the hell is going on. Maria hasn't said a word in two days." Michael sat on the same old worn out sofa in the office, booted feet propped up on the coffee table.

"Dude, be afraid." Kyle warned, "When the Motormouth stops nothing good happens."

"That's my wife you're talking about."

"Not yet she isn't." Kyle paused to shove half of a sandwich into his mouth. "Why haven't you done that yet anyway?"

"Done want?" Michael took a drink out of his Snapple and waited for Kyle to answer.

"Why haven't you made an honest woman outta her?"

A smile spread across Michael's face at the thought of being married to Maria, nothing would change. He was happy just where he was. So, why not marry her? "We get a little…distracted." He let out a little chuckle.
