Warning from Discord!

Back in the Canterlot Hospital, Princess Celestia was currently asleep after being treated for such severe injuries. After tanking an explosion like the one Twilight caused at point blank range, it was a miracle that she had even survived! The others were currently outside the waiting room trying to come up with a plan to get Twilight to come back.

Cadence and Shining Armor had also agreed to postpone the wedding until they could find Twilight. They had both agreed that it really wouldn't be much of a wedding if Twilight wasn't there with them.

"I still can't believe that Twilight would do that to everyone! How could she have such blatant disregard for everyone's lives?!" Rarity asked.

"I'm guessing it's the Chaos Emerald that corrupted her mind!" Rainbow Dash suggested.

"Simmer down, sally! We don't know that fer sher just yet, so don't go jumpin to any conclusions!" Applejack reasoned.

Cadence wasn't listening to the conversation at hand. She was too busy wallowing in shame due to her part in turning Twilight into what she is now. How could she have been so heartless to the girl that she used to babysit?! No wonder Twilight snapped the way she did!

"Oh, don't jump to such conclusions just yet miss Mi Amore." said a voice that the other Elements of Harmony were very familiar with.

"Oh, please no!" Fluttershy squeaked.

There was a squeaky poof with an explosion of confetti and streamers as the voice sang "Oh, please YES!"

Materializing from the poof was a creature known to all Equestrians as a Draconequus. This creature had the grey furred head of a pony with a single saber fang jutting out of his upper lip, a deer antler, a cyan goat horn, a long serpentine body that resembled a Chinese Dragon, the left paw of a lion, the right talon of an eagle, the left goat hoof of a goat, a green scaled leg of a lizard, a bat wing, a bird wing, and a red scaled snake tail that ended with a tuft of white fur.

His eyebrows were big, bushy and white, while his eyes had yellow sclera with uneven red irises. Everyone in the room recognized this creature almost immediately.

"DISCORD! WHAT THE BUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Rainbow Dash yelled.

However, the girl's mouth was literally zipped shut with a snap of Discord's fingers. She struggled furiously to unzip it, but no matter how hard she tried her lips were sealed.

"My, my, Rainbow Crash! What EVER have I done to warrant such hostility from you?" Discord asked while mocking the girl. "And please watch your language. This is a hospital after all!"

"How'd y'all even git free from yer stone prison in the first place?!" Applejack asked with her guard up.

"Well if you must know, my freedom was the result of the glorious chaos that you all unleased upon this world!" Discord said.

"Huh?" was the collective answer.

Discord sighed as he knew that this would take a long and complicated explanation. So he poofed a teacher's outfit onto himself, and put the others in chairs and desks that he "borrowed" from Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. With a snap of his fingers, Discord brought a chalkboard and chalk into existence and began to explain.

"Okay class, I'm only going to explain this once so I expect you all to pay close attention!" Discord said.

Seeing that no one was going to interrupt him, Discord cleared his throat and began to explain how he escaped from his former prison. He also drew a few diagrams on the chalkboard for visual aid.

"The Elements of Harmony are all linked to each other, correct? However, the Element of Magic is the strongest of these six elements. So even though they're connected to each other, you still need the Element of Magic to keep the power balanced." Discord explain.

"But that doesn't explain how Twilight became such a big meanie pants! Or how you got out of your stoney prison!" Pinkie said.

She didn't get to say much as her mouth was also zipped shut by Discord. But a dunce cap was also put on her head in the process.

"I was getting to that! Now no more interruptions!" Discord ordered.

He went back to his chalkboard and proceeded how he escaped from his stone prison.

"Now as you all know, the Elements of Harmony are all connected to the Element of Magic. However, this is only possible if all of them are in perfect harmony with each other. When you five turned your backs on Twilight at the wedding rehearsal, you broke that harmony between the Elements thus weakening my prison just enough for me to slip free of my confines!" Discord explained.

He then proceeded to unzip Pinkie and Rainbow's mouths before turning all serious. He had been so caught up in his little explanation about the Elements that he hated the most, he almost completely forgot about the whole reason he was there in the first place.

"But I'm afraid I can't stay long. I've come to deliver a warning. You must save Twilight from her darkness or all of Equestria is doomed!" Discord explained.

And with that, he poofed away from the hospital. This left a few confused princesses, a confused bunch of girls, and an unamused guard.
