"Don't damage it! Professor Sprout will kill us!"
"Watch out on your left Justin!"
"Ouch, that was my foot!"
"Sorry!"
"Hurry up Macmillan! We can't keep this up much longer!"
"I'm trying! I can't get a clear shot with all your bobbing and weaving!"
"You all look like idiots."
"Either contribute something useful or piss off Zacharias!"
Susan Bones surveys this unexpected scene for a few more seconds, then moves to sit next to Hannah who's watching avidly from the relative safety a nearby table.
"Do I even want to know?" the redhead asks.
Hannah glances at her briefly, but keeps the majority her focus on her struggling year mates. "Stephen's gone and let the Venomous Tentacula get a hold of his school bag again."
Susan sighs. "Is this the fourth or fifth time this has happened?"
"This one makes six," Hannah replies.
The lull in conversation is punctuated by a girlish yelp as Ernie's spell misses and hits Wayne Hopkins instead.
"How long have the boys been at it this time?"
"Maybe five minutes?"
"We should probably go and help them."
"Nah, let's let them suffer a bit longer. Stephen deserves it after losing my favorite ink well yesterday, and I've bet Megan Jones a sickle that they won't make it to the fifteen minute mark without someone getting knocked unconscious."
Not sure if it was clear but this scene takes place in the Hufflepuff common room.
