Kuki slammed her bedroom door shut and stood there for a moment before falling face first onto her bed. As soon as her face made contact with the pillows she cried. She cried because she lost her new friend on the 2nd day of school, because she wanted there to be no such thing as Monarchs, because she was embarrassed, because she thought she was hated, but most of all Kuki cried because she moved to this stupid place.

"I HATE it here!" Kuki exclaimed loudly, luckily no one was home to hear her outburst. "I want to go home!" She squeezed her favorite pillow onto her stomach. RING! RING! RING! Kuki sniffled and reached across the bed for her phone. She flipped it open and cleared her throat. She didn't want to sound like she had just been crying,it would lead to questions.

"Hello?" She croaked.

"GURL!" Abby exclaimed. "WE MISSED YOU!" Kuki's eyes lit up.

"ABBY!?" She smiled suddenly, all her worries were flushed down the drain. Abby was here on the phone and she was making Kuki happier with each word escaping her mouth. Kuki beamed, happy to hear her friend's voice after so long.

"You know it gurl!" Abby chuckled on the other end. Kuki's smile lit up the room. "So how's life?" Abby asked. Kuki paused. She really didn't want to worry Abby...

"It's awesome!" Kuki said. "I made so many friends." She lied.

"I know you would," Abby chuckled. "Who wouldn't want to be your friend?"

"Yeah, I'm so popular here." Kuki lied again, she couldn't stop lying. She was convinced that Abby had think she was perfectly satisfied with living here. If not, Abby would have to pay for a plane ticket and would be on the next plane attempting to rescue her stressed out friend. "I have a boyfriend too!" Kuki exclaimed suddenly. She heard Abby gasp. Kuki gaped, oh my. Had she really just said that? she was digging deeper and now it was too late to take it back.

"Tell Abby about now!" Abby squealed. Kuki giggled falsely, just great! Now she had o think of some guys name. "What is his name?" Abby asked, ready for Kuki's reply. Kuki paused.

"Uh...umm..." Kuki sounded stupid now.

"Kuki?" Abby asked. "Does he have a name?"

"Wally!" Kuki suddenly said into the phone, her heart sinking into the pits of hell. Had she really just uttered that? She listened as Abby seemed to think.

"Wally?" Abby repeated. "Has a nice tone to it." Abby said. Kuki felt sweat drip down her face. She was screwed. She was so utterly screwed. Now What?

"Yup," Kuki said. "Wally."

"Does Wally have a last name?" Abby asked.

"Beatles." Kuki said, her mouth going dry...Wally Beatles, what if Abby somehow told her friends and they let it get out. It would spread through texts and go on the internet and then Wally would find it and KUKI'S LIFE WOULD BE OVER!

"Kuki? Kukiiiii?" Abby called. "Are you there?" Kuki snapped back to reality.

"Huh?" She asked incoherently.

"I asked what he's like?" Kuki froze. She had NO IDEA what Wally was like in reality. She knew he was rich and a very mean that's all. She knew nothing about him at all. She didn't even know if he was 16 or 17...probably 17 though. She remembered his orange tie while all the other boys in the school had black. He didn't have to wear dress code and if he picked orange then his favorite color must have been orange. He was blonde and he also had a faint accent...British are something.

"Well, don't let word out." Kuki said softly. "He's a rich boy." She said. She had meant it when she said don't let word out. If word got out due to Abby's loose tongue, Kuki's entire life would end within a matter of seconds.

"Gurl, don't tell Abby that you're a gold digger now." Abby laughed on the other end. Kuki remembered that Talia said ALL the girls wanted him...ALL the girls.

"No Abs, I'm safe." Kuki smiled. "Oh yeah and he's the ultimate hottie." Kuki said, faking a dreamy tone. She felt as if she was being suffocated by all the lies she was spewing. She didn't find the blonde attractive, not one bit. If anything he was cold and self conceited. She heard Abby gasp. Kuki would gasp too if she heard herself talking about this nonsense of dating the hottest...hottest to everyone except Kuki that is...guy in the world.

"Wow, you're actually in love!" Abby exclaimed. Kuki blushed, even though Abby couldn't see. She wasn't in love with...Wally Beatles. She was just faking! And she was blushing because she...actually, she dind't know why she was blushing. The warmth in her cheeks faded to confusion dawning in her eyes. "I never thought I'd see the day when I would hear you say 'hottie'." Abby chuckled.

"Yeah, um..." Kuki thought. "His favorite color is orange." She said randomly.

"Oh that's cool." Abby said, now sounding kind of bored. Kuki knew that she would have to get more info on the blonde. No one would care what his favorite color was. She had to give them interesting information...wait. Them? No. Abby. Only Abby, no one could find out that she was dating Wally Beatles. Well...'dating' Wally Beatles.

"Yeah," Kuki said. "He's the most coolest boy in the school." Kuki stated. Abby began to get the feeling that Kuki wasn't telling the entire truth. The guy Kuki was describing only existed in fairy tales and movies. Her next words only proved her point that Kuki's lies were a bit obvious and unamusing.

"That's good, oh look at the time, Abby has to go. Me, Nigel, and Hoagie are going to the movies." Abby said. "I'll call you later, bye Kuki!" CLICK.

"Bye Ab-." Kuki sighed. They were getting along fine with out her...just fine. Kuki sighed. Her life was turning upside down. She just LIED about Wally being her boyfriend. Kuki blushed again...it felt so weird thinking that way...how would it be if Wally was her boyfriend. Kuki yawned. She could just picture it now. Kuki turned onto her side, falling to sleep and her mind began to wander towards thoughts she would have never thought she'd ever have.

Kuki walked into school with a big yawn...she was SO tired. She walked to her locker cautiously hoping that there wasn't another tomato bomb in it. She was happy to find Fanny was done torturing her. Kuki got her books and walked to class, NONE of the monarchs were there. She smiled softly, at least they wouldn't be torturing her today. She decided to catch up on her sleep. That was until the door opened and She looked up. She saw Fanny walk in wearing some bright neon green spandex with hot pink tights and a black off the shoulder top. She was wearing black boots and her hair was up in a messy bun of curls. Rachel entered next she wore black yoga pants and a tight black t-shirt. Make up was clear. She wore black fuzzy boots and her blonde hair was cut to a shoulder length cut today. Ace walked in and Kuki heard a few girls sigh. Ace was wearing the school uniform, yet he left his jacket opened and some of his chest was visible. Kuki sighed and tried to ignore them, but the students were all clapping and it was hard to see why because Mushi was slapping her...wait...what?

"KUKI!" WAKE UP!" Mushi screamed, slapping her sister. Kuki groaned and rolled over...weird dream. "You're going to be late for school!" Mushi exclaimed. Kuki groaned and rolled off of the bed. She shoved her younger sister in out into the hallway and slammed the door. "MEANY!" Mushi yelled. Kuki ignored her and started getting ready for the day. She didn't let the dream bother her that much and upon finishing her morning routine she smiled and went to school.

Kuki walked into school with a big yawn...she was SO tired, just like in her dream. How ironic. Kuki got her books and walked to class, NONE of the monarchs were there, sorta like her dream. She decided to catch up on her sleep. That was until the door opened and She looked up, Kuki was beginning to think that she was dreaming again. This was exactly the same as her dream! It was very freaky! She saw Fanny walk in wearing some bright neon green spandex with hot pink tights and a black off the shoulder top. She was wearing black boots and her hair was up in a messy bun of curls. Kuki guessed what Rachel was wearing and turns out she was right. Kuki sighed and tried to ignore them and go to sleep, but Wally entered. Kuki looked up and her jaw dropped. Wally entered the room and the class fell silent. Kuki could hear herself breathing as was pretty sure everyone else could so she held her breath. She wasn't lying when she told Abby that Wally was a hottie...he WAS and it only took like 1 day for Kuki to notice that. Wally wore black pants and a white button up t-shirt. The top 3 buttons were un done so his tan chest was slightly visible. His orange tie was messed up again, creating a messy look. Kuki blushed...he actually looked hot. Kuki gulped inaudibly as the Monarchs made their way to their seats and sat down. Kuki couldn't help staring at the back of Wally's head, hoping he would turn around so she could see his face again. Kuki wondered what color his eyes were. They were hidden under his bowl cut. She paused suddenly, when had she become interested in the blonde? It was after the conversation with Abby. The blonde had been the thing she last thought about when she fell asleep. Besides she told Abby he was hot and she had to make sure he was (and yes, he was veryyy hot), so Kuki was satisfied.

"Class," The teacher spoke. "Since today is Wednesday and we are half way to the weekend, we are having a silent study hall." The teacher spoke. Everyone pulled out their books as the teacher took role. Kuki waited for Fanny's beeping text sounds, but they never came. Kuki also waited for Ace's camera sounds, but the room was actually silent except for the paper sounds and the pencils writing. Kuki was actually doing her work too. She could hear people talking quietly and she could hear the teacher saying names. Kuki ignored them and tuned them out though...she was trying to finish her homework due next period. Kuki found herself sub consciously looking up and at Wally. Her eyes widened when she realized he was looking at her...his lips were moving...He was saying something. She tuned in to hear him speaking to her.

"ASIAN!" He was screaming, Kuki's eyes widened. He was adressing her directly. "IS she fucking deaf or something?" He exclaimed. The class burst into laughter suddenly. "Can you-?" He paused and took a dramatic gulp of air. "Fucking hear?" He asked. Kuki's mouth opened a bit. "Sorry, excuse my manners. Do you understand English?" He asked. "Nishonqu yoshi donuts and chicken wings. Ni hao cow pung?!" Wally exclaimed. The class laughed at his demonstration of Japanese people. Kuki blushed. Now she realized that her 'boyfriend' was racist. Well at least she knew more about it now.

"Sorry, Monarch Wally." Kuki murmured respectfully.

"Huh?" Wally asked. "Sorry I don't speak Japanese." He said, earning more laughs, but not caring about the people who basically worshiped him. The only thing on his mind was harassing Kuki, the girl who ruined Ace's reputation. He wanted her to be further embarrassed. Fanny's ketchup bomb just wasn't enough and he wanted more.

"Sorry, Monarch Wally." Kuki said louder. He ignored her and turned away.

"Whatever, stupid cruddy bitch." Kuki frowned.

"Now Kuki," The teacher said. "If you would so kindly say 'Here'." She spoke.

"Here." Kuki realized that Wally was trying to let her know the teacher was calling her name. She sighed She was clearly not on his good side and apparently now where near neutrality either, yet she knew better to approach and him and try. Wally was working on his paper. Kuki swallowed and decided to accidentally catch his attention like she caught Ace's yesterday. Maybe it would work, but then again. Ace had said it himself, as Kuki remembered. Ace wasn't Wally...and forgetting wasn't something good especially if it concerned the monarchs.

"I love you Monarch Wally." A girl said as she exited the room.

"Shut up." Wally said as Fanny checked that the girl said something.

"Hello Monarch Wally." A boy said.

"Whatever." Wally muttered.

"You're the coolest guy in the-."

"Screw you." Wally snapped his fingers and Ace violently shoved the kid out of his way.

"I-I love you Monarch Wally." Kuki said softly and cautiously.

"What ever newbitch." Wally said. He snapped his fingers and the Monarchs followed him to their lockers. Kuki winced. Since when did Wally's insults actually hurt her? She didn't like being call such names, but it usually didn't effect her emotionally like it just had. She actually wanted to be on his good side now, what was wrong with her?! She didn't actually want him to like her, right? She needed forgiveness and that...That was it. Right? Either way, She felt like she needed to be his friend now. Sure she wanted to be forgiven, but she wanted to make peace with him and hopefully be his friend and then maybe his best friend and possibly his girl-. Wait no. She was taking it too far. Monarch Wally would never see her that way. Never would he give his heart to someone. Ace gave his body. Rachel gave he rare looks. Fanny gave her pranks, but Wally gave nothing. He only took... She followed the Monarchs from a distance. When she approached the corner by the bathroom she paused and listened.

"It seems you've talked some sense into that new girl." Wally stated. Kuki felt a bit happier that he didn't use the rude nickname for her when she wasn't around, but she wasn't excited enough to step out from hiding and approach them right there and say thank you. That was suicide. She had to approach him alone. When the other 3 were around, he would shoot her down instantly because he didn't want to soften in front of them.

"Yup," Fanny smiled. "All for you." She seemed to say sweetly...in Fanny could even manage to be sweet.

"Whatever." Wally said, not caring. Kuki raised an eyebrow. Yes, the blonde was cold towards everyone. He even showed some hostility towards Ace who was also a monarch, but a female monarch too? Kuki was surprised.

"Ace are you okay?" Rachel asked worriedly. Kuki didn't hear a response, she risked a look around the corner. Ace had his books already and was leaning against the wall silently. Rachel had a worried look on her face. "How about we walk to class together and we can talk about it?" Rachel asked.

"I guess." Ace said. Rachel and him walked off down the hall.

"Love birds." Fanny said in a satirical sing-song voice.

"Whatever." Wally replied. "We all know Rachel is a whoreo Monarch, the only thing that she likes is that taste of-."

"Wally...why must you be so hot...yet so cold?" Fanny asked innocently, obviously attempting to win over Wally's attention.

"Cause I can be." Wally replied without a glance in the read head's direction. Obviously he wasn't interested...

"Am I a whoreo?" Fanny asked.

"No..." He replied. Kuki's heart sped up. Was Wally going for Fanny? Now her chance was ruined. He would definitely pick a Monarch over a girl he hates. He'd pick any girl over a girl he hates. She didn't have a chance with him. Wait chance? She wanted to be on his good side not be his girlfriend, right? She didn't want to date Wally, right? What was happening? Why was she suddenly so flustered. "...You're just too desperate. Now get out of here." Wally said. Fanny nodded and walked down the hall, she didn't want him to suddenly snap on her. She understood that he was uninterested and didn't want to tick him off. Wally was left a lone at his locker getting his books. Kuki sighed. The late bell rang and Kuki knew she was screwed unless she showed up at her next class with a Monarch. That however was very unlikely and so she decided to just get a detention. She tried sneaking past Wally but he turned at the last second. "What the-?" Kuki froze. "What are you doing in the Monarch hall?" He asked, anger laced through his words.

"Um...I..." Kuki froze. She was about to bow, but remembered that Wally hated being treated like that. "Sorry Monarch Wally." Kuki said. "I was just taking a short cut to my next class." Kuki trailed off. "Well, our next class." Kuki repeated wondering if the blonde ever realized they had multiple classes together.

"Are you stupid?" Wally asked. "You're late." He said. "That'll be you're 3rd late and then you'll have a detention." Wally stated. Kuki's eyes lit up...he was keeping count? He noticed when she was late...? He noticed...her? So he DID keep track of her. Whether it was to get her in trouble later and use as blackmail, or because he just wanted to. Which again, was very unlikely.

"Well..." Kuki trailed off in embarrassment. "I have no other reason to be late." Kuki stated softly, looking towards his bowl cut and wondering again what color his eyes were. Did anyone know? Did he cover them with his hair for a reason? She felt herself become a bit lightheaded and began to teeter on her toes as she cast another longing look at Wally. Was she actually attracted to him? "Sorry for wasting your time Monarch Wally." Kuki apologized again and began to turn away. Wally smirked.

"Whatever." He picked up his books and began to walk away.

"Monarch Wally...?" Kuki realized that they were having a conversation. They were talking! She had to keep this going even if she was scared. She was scared she would make a mistake and he would hate her more. Wally stopped walking.

"What the crud do you want?" Kuki flinched and Wally saw.

"I-..." Kuki choked out and yet Wally's gaze remained cold. "I know I've upset you. I'm aware that being with Ace made his image look bad and-."

"No, I'm not giving you my blessing you dumb, little-."

"I wanted to apologize to you." She whispered. Wally paused.

"We don't accept-."

"No. Not to the monarchs. To you." She explained. "I understand," She said once more. "You have a lot of power and if I offended you in anyway I'm honestly sorry. I'm a really nice person and I'm probably wasting my breath because you might not even care about me or anything I have to say." Kuki said.

"Well at least you aren't that stupid." The blonde grumbled, still staring at her. But not glaring, no longer glaring. Just a blank and uninterested stare.

"I know you barely give any attention to anyone and I'm no exception. I just really needed to get this off my chest. I'm sorry and I hope we can-."

"I'm not interested in dating right now." He cut her off. "I'm not going to date a single girl in this school." He hissed.

"I don't want to date you, sorry." Kuki said politely. "Girls in this school want you for your looks and money and even though I'm...new and I do agree that you are attractive." At this point Kuki blushed. "I don't want you, it would only make you look bad by having me at your side. I understand you don't care about what I have to say, and I understand that you hate me. I know you won't accept my apology, but I can at least feel better since I tried." She said. "I'll stay out of your way now and I-I won't mess up again, Monarch Wally. I'm sorry for anything I did to upset you. I tried to tell Monarch Ace that his actions would upset you, but he insisted." Wally and Kuki both knew why he helped her, he thought she was into him. "It seems that not all the monarchs are heartless." Kuki bit he tongue as the last words left her mouth. Had she just said that?! She had his full attention and he was actually listening and then she goes and ruins it by calling him, Fanny, and Rachel heartless. She shook her head softly. She turned to go.

"It's true." Wally muttered. "Ace isn't fit for being a Monarch." He added. He looked up as Kuki took the first wobbly step away. She had spoken to him, they both thought. She approached him and had apologized, she hadn't come on to him, she hadn't asked politely if she could date Ace, hell she didn't even ask him to not hate her. She basically just apologized and asked for nothing more than the fact that he acknowledge that. She was...different to say the least. "Okay, come to the Monarch table at lunch, I'm going to confirm this with Ace and I need you present." Wally demanded. "Bring a chair." He said. "And fix yourself cause you look pathetic." He stated. Kuki blushed.

"Um, exactly how could I fix myself Monarch Wally..." Kuki said. "I'm n-new you see." She lied. Wally sighed and placed his books on the window ledge. He approached Kuki and his fingers slowly traced the bottom of her shirt. Kuki blushed deeply. Was he going to take her shirt off? In the middle of the hallway! "Uh..." Wally lifted her shirt and her pale stomach was visible. His gentle hands moved over its surface and down the the waistline of her navy blue school girl skirt. Wally then grabbed the top of her skirt and pulled it up a little more. He then pulled her shirt down tightly. Kuki looked at her reflection in the mirror. Her skirt appeared very short (so that's how the girl's pulled that off, they pulled their skirt up more). Kuki turned around and could see the bottom of her butt. She looked like a little whoreo! Her shirt was pulled down so much it looked tight. Her medium breast size was visible. Well this was HIGHLY inappropriate. Kuki gulped inaudibly.

"There whoreo, you're fixed." Wally grabbed his books and turned around. He started walking down the hall towards their next class. Kuki frowned. He just transformed her into a whoreo, then called her one! She suddenly felt a bit more bold since he helped her. Was he actually being nicer when his friends weren't around? Sure he was still mean and a bastard, but he was somewhat kinder.

"Should I stand in the hallway? Because if a monarch told me to then no one would question me and I couldn't get in trouble." Kuki explained. Wally sighed and thought.

"OR if you come with me, you won't get in trouble for being late because the teacher won't question you and you still won't get in trouble." Wally stated. Since Wally wouldn't be able to see Kuki smiled. Mission Accomplished. Wally was actually nice on the inside...either that or he was just tired that Kuki was bothering him. Maybe if he continued to open up Kuki would get information out of him. Kuki blushed. Why did she care about info on him? She only needed it to fill Abby in. She didn't care about him! She didn't like him! She wasn't slowly falling for him...!

Or was she?
