Chapter Four

Ryoma slowly opened his eyes, he didn't even remember falling asleep. Slowly sitting up he sighed and rubbed his eyes. He felt so drained. His mind flashed back to last night as he looked around the room.

'That's right...Yukimura-San found me' Ryoma thought as he looked around the room in more detail. It looked so normal. Sure there was tennis things, but there was other things, books on gardening, art supplies. This is what a normal room looked like.

His mind flashed to his room with bare walls, a tv, desk with laptop and a bookshelf filled with tennis trophies and ribbons. Everything in his room had to do with tennis. Nothing else. The only thing he had that wasn't tennis related was Karupin...and his parents took her with to America so he didn't have to worry about her. That all he needed to worry about was the tennis tournaments.

His family didn't understand him. They didn't even try.

Hearing knock Ryoma pulled himself out of the bed, and sat up in time to see Yukimura come into the room with a smile on his face.

"Morning" Seiichi smiled, as he handed Ryoma a bag, who looked at it with a questioning look.

Blinking, Ryoma took slowly took the bag, "G- Good Morning"

Seiichi grinned as he pointed to down the hall, "The bathroom is just over there, when you are done getting ready come downstairs. To the left of the stairs is the kitchen, breakfast will be ready soon."

"A-ah..." He paused looking up at the older boy, "...Thank you..." He then made his way to the bathroom without saying another word.

It only took Ryoma a few minutes to change into the clothes given to him, they were a little big, but rather close in size. Ryoma guessed they were Yukimura's old clothes or maybe a siblings?

He dropped his old clothes in the room he was in before, stuffing them in his tennis bag, before making his way down the stairs and to the left, like Yukimura instructed.

Going into the kitchen Ryoma was greeted with a site he wasn't expecting. Breakfast, a full Japanese breakfast. Usually Ryoma didn't eat breakfast because his mother or Cousin made an English breakfast, something he hated.

"Come, sit and eat." Seiichi smiled, motioning him to take a seat as he placed a bowl of rice down on the table.

Ryoma did as he said and sat down, wordlessly. He didn't know how to react around the older boy. He had heard stories from other teams and his own teammates about the famous Yukimura Seiichi, Child of God.

Ryoma didn't know what he was like as a person though. He would have to be carful with what he said. He didn't need an observant person around him.

Atobe Keigo of Hyotei was enough. He had a knowing look on his face every time he saw Ryoma. It pissed him off to no end.

Seiichi frowned as he took a bite of his breakfast, as Ryoma just stared at his food, "Is there something wrong with the food?"

Blinking Ryoma shook his head and bringing himself back to reality, picking up his chopsticks as he muttered a small, "Thanks for the food."

Seiichi tilted his head to the side, "If you prefer I can make an American breakfast, you did grow up there, did you not?"

Ryoma shook his head giving the tennis Captain a small smile, "No I prefer Japanese food...Thank you." He really was thankful for what he had done. He hadn't asked any more questions since last night.

Even if he did...Ryoma wasn't sure how he would answer.

Probably lie.

He didn't think he would be able to trust someone to want the real him. If his family didn't want the real him...why would strangers?

Glancing up he saw Yukimura smile, "That is good. After breakfast though, we are going to go to Rakai Dai. I have tennis practice to supervise...after that we shall take you home."

Ryoma almost choked on his rice as he looked wide eyed at the older boy across the table. He didn't know what he was going to do. He had a feeling today was going to be a long day.

Yuki note: Well...here is chapter four...sorry for the long wait...if you have read my profile you know what has been going on. I actually know what I am going to do in the next chapter...and I really want to go type it...but I have a list to finish before I can do so...but I will do so when the list is done. I am actually really excited to do more chapters for this story!
