Chapter three: Learning time

[Orcus Palace]

The girl woke up. She was dizzy and confused, yet she found the strength to stand up and walk. She than wondered around her surroundings, and found herself inside of the Palace of Orcus. She adventured her way deeper into the palace and saw the owner or the palace, Orcus speaking with the boy that worked so hard to save her.

She awaited, and listened as Orcus offered his services to Ryder, who beyond all her beliefs was not just a friend, was also King of the Dragons. "Rest now my boy, for tomorrow you will know the big world that lies ahead for you to conquer." As the boy backed away to his new chambers the girl, still half frightened, approaches the large serpent shaped blue dragon, but, before she could say anything, Orcus spoke: "You may come out of hiding, I mean you no harm. I am Orcus, and you must be Madison. Must be, silly me, of course you are. The boy spoke of you with great concern. I don't mean to be rude, but I am afraid my hunger grows, therefore I must hunt. So if you have any questions, do ask them quickly."

"What you are going to teach Ryder, may…." The girl took a moment to wonder if she wanted to go through with it, and then, gave a final answer. "uh... may you teach me as well? "

"In the pursuit of knowledge are we? Very well, I shall teach you. But I am afraid I cannot execute such task alone. You must seek knowledge from the boy, for your mother passed away when you were yet young, so unless you are acquainted with a Greybeard, you must ask the boy to teach you of the dragon tongue."

"Why do I need to know the dragon tongue?" The girl had many questions but Orcus simply replied the he didn't had time to answer all his questions.

"Await for tomorrow little girl, and your questions shall be answered. Simply know, you may be Khajiit, yet you are also Dov, Dragon. Now if you'll excuse me, I must go."

The girl saw, as the mighty, handless, serpent shaped dragon went deep into the water, and decided to wait until the next day.

[Next day, 4 AM]

Both the children were asleep, and feared nothing, for according to Orcus they were safe. That was until the boy, slightly opened his eyes at the presence of a voice.

"Come, come. We just make it look real, take this knife and put it to his throat, Asumeel and I will hold his arms". As the three figures approached, the boy pretended to sleep. Be than felt a presence in his right side, followed by slim footsteps on the left and shouted: "Fus-Ro-Dah!"

The one in front of him that was holding the knife is pushed back, leaving the knife kid air. While the knife was spinning in the air, the boy freed his right hand, knocking down the Khajiit that was restraining him. As the knife fell he grabbed it and, with a swift touch, placed it next to the figure's throat.

"Who do you work for?"

The figure lowered his dark hood revealed an Argonian that quickly replied: "I see your father has taught you well, I see your powers of perception don't need many more improvements, yet they could improve. Come meet the rest of my associates. The Khajiit you knocked down is Bhiha. The one that owes you a new room door is Cicerro. I am Asumeel. Orcus called us to teach you the arts of the Brotherhood. Assassination, and silence. Well that's for me and Bhiha. The orc used to be in the Fighters Guild, so he will teach you how to fight. Bhiha will also teach you the skills that circle within the Thieves Guild.

The boy than neared the dagger to the Argonian's throat. "How can I trust you? And more importantly what's keeping me from spilling your blood on the ground? For all I know you may be with the Dov-Ah-Kiin."

"Don't trust a fellow son of Argonia? Tell me boy, do you think that if I knew three dragons were living here, I would not call upon the Nord to slain you? That is if knew you were here and did not wished to be here. Ask the mighty Hisk of Argonia and they will tell you the same."

A bit more comforted, the boy began to lower his dagger, yet slowly, as if he was still not totally convinced of the Argonian's identity. Than he asked: "Why are you helping me?"

"We are helping Orcus, he has the coin to pay, we need coin. So this is just another contract. Now since you don't need am introduction to swordsmanship, I believe it is time to activate that armor, yet I must ask. Are you prepared? Once you start this there is no going back, and your soul will be stained with innocent blood. " As the Argonian said that, the boy got confused.

"Must I do it now?" The boy remembered what Orcus had told him, how badly a soul could take the impact of robbing another of his life.

"Yes, you will not have a chance like this. A Moth Priest is in High Rock due to the discovery of an Elder Scroll. And as you should know, there is none more innocent than a Moth Priest. He was last seen near a shipwreck where I and my companions were before coming here. With some luck he is still there. Go on now, you don't expect me to do it for you. Do not fear your blade, wield it properly, and it may be your best ally."

[Shipwreck in northwestern High Rock]

The Moth Priest was followed by his own personal guard, for the safety of the Scroll, when all of a sudden, a powerful shout is heard, throwing the guards away from the Priest's surroundings. The Priest ran as he saw the dragon above him, yet not much he could do. The boy than descended from the skies, revealing the Priest who the dragon was.

What kind of vile creature are you?"

As the Priest said that, the boy felt deeply offended, so he raised his dagger and pierced the Priest's throat and as blood sprayed everywhere, the armor shined in a bright red tone, and the dagger the boy held in his hand changed. Once a simple steel object, was now a Daedra corrupted ebony dagger, and the boy's soul was forever stained. The boy looked once more at what he had done, and went back to the skies, back to the palace.

[Palace of Orcus, 12:32]

Orcus had returned, almost at the same time as the boy, and immediately noticed the blood stained armor. He stared at the boy's face for a bit and afterwards attempted to comfort him, yet the attempt failed. The girl roamed the palace and also noticed the boy, she knew what he had done and why. She than approached to hug the boy, that let out a small smile on his face. Orcus from the far saw the both. The boy than heard a voice in his mind: "I never said it would be easy, I apologize if I thought you would be prepared."

"Did you hear that?"

The girl didn't know what was he talking about. "What? I didn't hear anything."

Orcus calmed the boy within his mind: "Don't fear boy, it's a neat trick I learned from the Dwemer before they disappeared. Come, the hardest is over. Now I shall teach you the magical practices of the schools of magic. Your first assignment: read the runes and learn the spells, so we can practice their casting."

The boy began to leave the girls arms, but she stopped him. "Uh Ryder? I wanted to ask you something. Will you teach me the dragon tongue"

Ryder rapidly answered with a smile: "Yes, of course."

[Meanwhile in Skyrim]

A Nordic figure was enraged, smashing everything in sight, and shouted: "How is it possible?! How can you be incompetent enough to slain an enormous dragon, yet not have the required skills to kill one baby dragon?! Find that dragon. Now!

"Sir, you have a letter from Dark Elves in Morrowind. They wish to know if you are interested in their most recent shipment of Argonian slaves. They also speak of a contract, they are interested in drawing out some tribes to the borders of Black Marsh and capturing some Khajiit from Elsweyr to acquire some more slaves."

"Send word that I wish to purchase the Argonians, and I will assist them in Black Marsh and Elsweyr."

Author note: so this was the third chapter and I don't know I was kinda expecting something with more action but I was kind of not expecting this high number of introductions. Once again I'm accepting characters created by you guys, could use at least 2. Manatauro out.
