Court had officially started and all i wanted to do was at that very moment was to just disappear. I look over to where Al was sitting with lian and felt a sudden pain in my heart as she whispers something into Al's ear causing him to smile widely.

I wish that was me making you smile..

Stop it Mei focus! You have way more important things to worry about then your broken heart! But then how come all my worry is on my broken heart instead of the 'More important things'? It's not like Al ever felt the same way about me anyways. And I mean I know that I should be happy that Al is happy but there's something deep down inside of me stopping me from doing so.

"I'm Sorry to disturb you, your highness but a urgent message from Amestris just came in for ambassador Elric."

"Thank you." Ling said dismissing the boy who looked no younger than thirteen or fourteen. I shoot ling a look to be nice to the younger servant only to be ignored and Ling begins talking again. "Your all dismissed for the day."

No one really having a problem with that (except for the elders) had gotten up and left leaving only myself, Ling, Lan fan, Al and lian in the room.

"Up!" Jian yelled tugging on my dress. Where did he even come from?..

"What do you say Jian?"

"Please."

I pick up my Nephew from the ground before turning my attention back to Alphonse who was now opening the letter. After about a second into reading the letter a smile soon makes it's way on to al's face.

"Brother and Winry are getting married!" Al says excitedly.

Resembool

After the three day train ride to Resembool I was excited to finally be off the train and around familiar faces, speaking of familiar faces.

"Al, Mei!" Winry who had spotted us immediately embraced us in a tight hug knocking both Al and me over."Welcome home!"

"It's good to be back." Al said hugging his sister in law.

"It looks like you grew some since the last time I seen you bean girl." the voice of the one and only Edward Elric said from behind us. I stand up and dust myself off before turning to look at Ed.

"You look the same to me pipsqueak ." I shot back playfully a smile glued to my face.

Al was right when he told me Ed had grown up a lot since the promise day. He was actually much taller since the last time i saw him. And the braid he always weared was now replaced by a simple ponytail. He reminded me a lot of hohenheim.

"Who's this?" Winry asked pointing the the Xingese girl that was standing behind us.

"This is my cousin lian, She really wanted to see Amestris so we brought her along hope,you don't mind?"

"Not at all!" Winry said smiling.

"Oh Ling and Lan fan said congratulations and sorry they couldn't be here but bringing little Jian plus all of our security would have been to much of a hassle, But they did give me this to give to you." I said and reach into my pocket to pull out a photo of Ling, Lan fan and Jian.

"Thank you."
