Silver was minding his own business, doing his usual night routine: finding the quietest corner to set his sleeping bag down, wrap his trench coat around him and set his headphones on.

Fate however, didn't give a shit.

Fate, or rather, Wiess had had an unpleasant encounter with another student earlier in the day, which she immediately went to her silent companion to vent her frustrations. She was laying next to him in her snow white night gown. He was about to place his headphones over his ears when a sudden shout drew his attention.

He looked up to see a very long haired blonde get punched in the face by a shorter girl which she was hugging. They proceeded to fight and he honestly wouldn't have intervened in what looked to be a squabble between siblings but Weiss shot up. He sighed as she growled and shot to her feet. Silver grabbed her hand but she shrugged it off and took off towards the duo.

"What is going on over here? Don't you know some of us are trying to sleep?"

Silver got up and rushed over there before she could notice who she was talking to but after a double take

"OH NOT YOU AGAIN!"

Silver cringed.

The younger girl in the white pants with pink spots started panicing. "guys, shes right. People are trying to sleep"

And it was at this point where silver decided just to wait it out because once Weiss started, she doesn't stop.

Shout after shout, he sat against a wall.

"think we should step in?" he looked next to him and noticed a black haired girl with an open book in her hands. He shrugged and she rolled her eyes.

Silver stood and grabbed Weiss by the shoulder and started to drag her away. She wheeled on him, punching his arm and yelling at him to let her go. He shook his head and gently pushed her onto her sleeping bag. She started to get up again but he wrapped an arm around her waist and he lay down as well.

"you… Silver! Stop this! You have no right…" she whispered fiercely, blushing. Silver just lay there however, his face pressed into his sleeping bag.

He felt her stop resisting and felt the familiar touch of her cold skin on his arm. It brought a smile to his face. Just a small one.
