HAPPY LATE NEW YEAR!

Hello! I'm finally no longer busy and ready for a new chapter! Sorry for you guys to wait. But now, here's the new chapter for Team Cryptid! Please enjoy.

Note: I also changed my writing style a bit, so you might see that the chapter will be more easier to read.

Chapter 4: Ricky and Randy

The next day...

"HEY! GET UP! IT'S MORNING!" aloud voice rang out, waking Zak and Kaz from their peaceful slumber.

"Who, what... w-wha?" Kaz mumbled, rubbing his eyes to get the remaining sleep out of his eyes. "GET UP! IT'S MORNING NOW! DON'T JUST STAND THERE! GET MOVING!" The loud voice continued, then whoever was shouting in the loud voice walked from the room.

Kaz yawned. "Wow, who knew that this Guide has their own alarm clock!" he said. Then he got up, but stopped in the mid-process. He turned around.

But all he met was a groggy Zak, snuggling with him.

Slowly, Kaz shook Zak. "Zak, wake up. Get that sleep out of you're eyes." He said. Zak manage to get up before he fell asleep again. "Hmm..? Oh, it's morning." Zak looked around, and the exact moment he saw that he was snuggling against Kaz, he directly get go.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry Kaz!" Zak said, he manage to stop himself from stammering too much. "Nah, it's fine. Now let's go before that other pokemon come's back!" Right after that sentence, both of the pikachus ran from their room.

When they went out from their room, there was Chatot, and it seems that he was waiting for them. "Why hello Zak and Kaz! Come on! It's time for you to pick you're first job!" He said cheerfully as he walked away with Zak and Kaz following hm.

Now, they find themselves in the second floor. "Uh, Chatot? I don't want to be rude or anything, but what are we doing in the second floor?" Zak asked. " Oh! That question is quite easy to answer. You see, in the second floor, there are things known as the bulletin board. These bulletin boards have all sorts of different jobs that have been given by different Pokemon. And exploration teams get at least one of the jobs to do." Chatot explained. "So, let me get this straight. Basically, we choose a job then we do it?" Kaz asked. "Why yes! I'll leave you two alone now so you can pick you're first job. goodbye and good luck!" Chatot replied as he went back upstairs.

"Hmm...That's not too hard, right Kaz? All we need to do is to pick a job then do it. Alrighty then! Which one should we pick Kaz?" Zak asked. "Actually, I have no idea which one should pick. And I wanna look around outside for a bit. Maybe we'll find something interesting!" Kaz replied. Then, they went out from the guide and went to the town.

After leaving the guide, the two pikachus decided to go right. "Huh, Tresure town. Not a bad name. Let's go see, shall we?" Kaz asked. "Alright then. let's go!" Zak replied. Both of the pikachus walked around the town. then, they stumbled across a store. "Hello! welcome to the item store! (AN: I forgot what pokemon that's in charge of the item store.) What do you need?" One of the pokemon said. "Oh, we're not buying anything. We're just looking." Zak replied "Oh, alright then. Hve a look around! maybe you will find something you like, yes?" The other pokemon said. Zak and Kaz looked around. "Uh, excuse me, but what is this?" Kaz asked, he was holding a blue berry in his hands. "Oh! that's a oran berry. It restores you're heath." the pokemon seller said. "Oh, okay, thank you!" Kaz replied as he and Zak left the store.

"Oh no, oh no, oh no!" A voice rang in the air. "Huh? who's that?" Kaz asked. "It must be another pokemon! come on!" Zak replied as they ran to where the voice was.

"oh no, oh no, on no! What do I do? WHAT DO I DO?!" The pokemon, which turned out to be another pikachu, screamed, suprisingly not gaining any attention for the other pokemon. "Hey! what's wrong?"" Kaz asked. "It's my little brother, Ricky. He was going to Mount. Bristle, but he's supposed to be back by now! He left five hours ago, And I keep on fainting when I go there." The pokemon explained. "By the way, my name's Randy. What's yours?" He asked. "I'm Zak, and he's Kaz." Kaz waved his hand behind Zak. "We are an exploration team, maybe we can help you!" Zak said. "Oh really? thankyouthankyouthankyou!" Randy exclaim as he hugged Zak with all of his might. Kaz just simply watched in amusement, the smirk never leaving his face. 'Wished I have a camera.' he thought to himself as Zak tried to get out from Randy's death hug.

"I-If y-yo-you want, y-you c-can come w-with us..!" Zak said between breaths. "Really? sure! anything to help my bro!" Randy replied, making his death grip on Zak even tighter. Zak looked at Kaz, his face clearly saying 'please help me'. But Kaz just simply watched in amusement, and shook his head.

Zak just simply groaned.

Sorry since it's a shorter chapter, the next one will HOPEFULLY (but I'm not keeping and promises) be posted on next week, but If I'm not lazy and got some MAJOR inspiration, It might come tomorrow.
