You all know these old stories about mermaids.

What if I told you, they are true?

You would probably laugh.

What if I told you, I was one?

You´d probaby force me to a mental doctor.

But it´s true.

I, Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow, am a mermaid. Unknown by most stories, we instantly grow legs, when we get dry enough.

I was once on ground when I was eight.

I just wanted to know, how it looked like. I never got the chance to go back, because some humans kidnapped me to this „Red Room".

I was made an assasin. I was good, very good.

When I was twenty, I joined S.H.I.E.L.D., because two Agents gave me the chance. Till today, I thank Agent Coulson and Agent Barton. Clint Barton became my partner.

When the stange things like Norse Gods and mutants happend, I always watched the reaction of the public, hoping, one day I could give up my secret.

I was eager to spy Tony Stark, because I hoped he had a pool. I didn´t think about JARVIS at that time. I just wanted to swim again. He hadn´t a pool though.

My very first name was Keiki Dorisa Duedipietra.
