Chapter 3: Night Robbers
The girls had managed to get through another day without problems but were tired when they got home and their parents weren't home. "Well, looks like it's just us for tonight," said Rachel.
Sally and Jessica nodded and all three headed up to their room and went to sleep.
Suddenly, Sally woke up, having heard a beeping sound that woke her up. She then looked at her bracelet, and the beeping sound came from it. "Sally? Are you there?" asked Gosei's voice.
"Yes, I'm here," she said.
"Good. Awaken your sisters. There is a monster in town that needs dealing with."
"Okay," she said and shook Rachel's shoulder. The older girl woke with a gasp.
"Sally?" she asked. "What is it? What time is it?"
"I just got a call from Gosei with our bracelets," she said. "There's trouble."
Rachel groaned. "Let me guess, Master Vile?" she asked.
Sally shook her head. "No, Gosei said it was a monster," she said.
"No doubt one of Master Vile's," said Jessica, having heard them talking. "Come on, we better get to the Command Center."
All three quickly morphed and got to the Command Center. "Gosei, what is it?" Rachel asked.
"A powerful monster Master Vile has sent down. He calls him Wash Brain. He brainwashes others and looks human. So be careful," said Gosei.
"You may need to have your Zords transform into the Mega Zord to stop him," said Ninjor.
"If it comes down to that, we will," said Rachel. "Ready, girls?"
"Ready!" they said in unison and all three teleported to where the disturbance was. They saw not only Wash Brain, but Rito too. They were having Loogies carry out bags of cash and gold.
"They're robbing everyone while they're asleep," said Jessica.
"Where are the cops?" asked Rachel.
Sally spotted them. "Over there, but something's wrong," she said.
Her older sisters saw what she meant. The cops wore dazed looks and their eyes were almost closed. They then saw Wash Brain zap another cop with something on his arm and then inject something into him. "My slowing serum is making them helpless," he cackled. "It washes their brains of the will to fight."
"That's good," said Rito. "How long does it last?"
"As long as I am alive," said Wash Brain.
"Then this is your final hour!" said Rachel as she and her sisters jumped out to fight them.
"The Power 3!?" asked Rito. "But Pop said they'd be asleep right now! He even checked!"
"You'd think we'd sleep and let you get away with robbing people?" asked Sally. "Never!"
"Loogies!" shouted Wash Brain. "Get the Power 3!"
The girls fell into battle with the Loogies, knocking them aside, but it looked like they were endless, especially when Wash Brain zapped the girls unaware, knocking them back for a bit. They kept fighting, but the Loogies then captured them.
"Now to wash your brains," said Wash Brain.
"Gosei, help!" Rachel shouted, hoping he knew they were in trouble.
"Unhand them!" shouted a familiar voice as Robo Knight, Blue Senturion, and Ninjor suddenly came, fighting back the Loogies and getting them to release the girls.
"Are you three okay?" asked Ninjor.
"Thanks to you guys," said Jessica, a smile in her voice.
"Come on! Let's get them!" said Sally. "Gosei said we may need to combine our Zords."
Just then, Wash Brain grew to enormous size after lightning struck him. The girls were shocked and Ninjor looked at Rachel. "Combine your Zords now!" he said urgently.
She nodded. "Call up!" she called out and jumped up in the air, coming down in a defensive stance. "Scorpio, land!"
Sally landed beside her in a defensive position beside her. "Sky, air!" she said.
Jessica joined them. "Splash, water!" she said and all three Zords joined together to form the Mega Zord and the girls jumped in.
"Alright, let's see what this Mega Zord can do," said Rachel.
Rito then grew big as did some Loogies. Then the girls all got a surprise when Robo Knight transformed into a huge Zord, Blue Senturion brought out the Robo Racer, and Ninjor grew to be as tall as the other three Zords.
Rachel looked around and saw the number of huge Loogies. "Senturion, Robo Knight! Can you two take care of the Loogies?" she asked.
"We're on it," they said in unison.
"I'll handle Rito!" said Ninjor. "Get Wash Brain!"
"You got it!" the sisters said in unison. It was a bit of blind luck they found the weapon for their Zord, considering it was the first time they had a Mega Zord, but it was just a matter of moving quickly and striking at the right moment. Wash Brain, heavily wounded, fell to the Earth and exploded into oblivion, leaving nothing but smoke left, which dissipated immediately.
"Uh-oh! Pop's not gonna like this!" said Rito. "I'm gone!"
He disappeared as did the Loogies who had been defeated. "We did it!" Sally cheered.
"One problem down," said Rachel. "But we now need to return the money that was stolen."
Jessica suddenly pointed out the window where they all saw the police saluting them. Rachel jumped down to speak with the chief.
"Glad to see you all are alright now," she said. "We'd like to help return all this money."
The police chief lightly shook his head. "You've done so much already," he said. "We'll take it from here."
"Are you sure?" she asked.
He nodded. "Thank you again," he said and saluted her. She returned the salute and motioned the Mega Zords and Ninjor to step back.
"It's good, guys," she said and jumped back into the girls' Mega Zord. They all teleported back to the Command Center.
"Well done, Power 3," said Gosei approvingly.
"Thanks," said Jessica as all three girls collapsed in some nearby chairs.
"Sorry, but we have some sleep to get back to," said Rachel. "And Master Vile better not pull this again."
"Or he'll face us when we're grumpy and no one messes with us when we're grumpy," said Sally.
All four watching the girls chuckled at that and saw Rachel and Sally drift off. "I'm glad tomorrow's Saturday," said Jessica.
Her sisters gave agreeing hums as they fully fell asleep and the girls' guardians teleported them back to their home, setting them down in their bed. "This battle was easy," said Ninjor. "But I've got a feeling the next one will be harder."
"Don't worry," said Robo Knight. "If they can face a monster like Wash Brain and succeed, then no monster stands a chance against them and us."
"Right," said Blue Senturion. "Gosei chose them well. They will succeed."
With that, the three went back to the Command Center, leaving their charges to sleep peacefully and regain their strength for any upcoming battles that came up in the future.
