Tsunayoshi, Cloud Guardian of Varia
Okay, someone asked 'What does Natsu look like?' I'm sorry for not explaining. Natsu does NOT look like Tsuna. He has his father's color hair that he grew out, making it look a little fluffy. His eyes are light brown and he has somewhat brown highlights. His bangs are covering his eyebrows just a bit. He's a bit taller than Tsuna because Tsuna got most of his genes from Nana, thus, he is small.
I hope that clears some things up. Thank you for reading my story!

Chapter 4 – Battle– A Thunder's loyalty. Loss of the Sky ring.
The Varia was being lazy at the hotel that they controlled at the moment. Tsuna looked at the scene before him from the ceiling. Yes, the ceiling. He was hanging on it, feet wrapped around a pipe.
Squalo was on the couch watching on the TV 'All about Sharks', saying that they were interesting but Tsuna was telling him that is was okay to admit the he just wanted to see how his family was doing. Belphegor was sharpening his knifes and throwing that at Mammon, who was counting his money and dodging the knife's coming his way. Lussuria was in the infirmary recovering from the blast the Gola Mosca had thrown at him, who, at the moment was powered down and doing whatever it was doing in the corner. Xanxus was eating steak and drinking Vodka. Levi was training in the underground training room that magically appeared (Tsuna was trying to convince everyone else that it was Harry Potter's doing but noooo, they didn't believe him!). Tsuna watched all this from the ceiling at then realized something.
Hanging from the ceiling is fun.
Tsuna then vowed to stay on the roof whenever he could for tonight.
Tsuna glanced at the kitchen clock that was viable to him from the ceiling.
7:27, it read.
Tsuna stared at the clock for a moment and then jumped down and walked into the kitchen. Tsuna looked through every cabinet at saw all ingredients that were needed for tonight. Ingredients for baking a cake.
It was then that the tiny burnet decided to bake a cake. A fairly big rainbow cake for everyone.
And so, he set off to make the cake.
Though he spilled much icing all over his face, about two hours passed and he looked proudly at his creation. The cake went in the normal rainbow pattern. There were six layers and the icing at the side that created a ribbon like appearance. It also had a smaller cake on top of it that said the following words.
'VARIA = AWESOMNESS'
Tsuna smiled as he looked at his son-ahem- creation and then presented it to everyone, sans Levi, who was still training. Everyone got their own piece. They said it was descent, which meant it was wonderful in Varia language. Tsuna smiled brightly and watched as everyone ate it. He even swore he saw Xanxus blushing and savoring the taste of the cake. Tsuna loved to cook. Maria, who was on the top floor when Tsuna went to her to give her a piece, smiled brightly and said that she loved it. Then he remembered that Levi didn't get a slice of the cake, for he was still training. Tsuna cut a piece of cake, noticing that there were still tons more left and walked underground to give it to Levi.
Varia knew that Levi, though the weakest one among us all, was strong enough to beat a baby cow. Tsuna still wondered how a baby cow could talk and become Guardian of the Thunder, but somehow it could happen. Hey, if tiny baby Mafioso Hitman could talk and kill, than Harry Potter could exist. The only options of what would happen is that Levi would win the battle and kill the cow or Natsu would butt into the battle and save the cow thing, thus, they get the ring either way.
Tsuna peaked through the heavy metal door as saw Levi practicing with the dummies that were now torn and electrocuted. Tsuna saw how hard at work Levi was and was about to leave until he heard a certain someone's stomach growl. Tsuna bit back a laugh and skipped into the room.
"Levi! I made something for you!"
Tsuna sung as he walked inside. Tsuna knew that Levi was the nicest person he had met, and so Tsuna balanced on the soles of his feet, waiting for praise.
Levi looked at the cake that was pushed into his hands. It was rainbow cake, he noted. He looked up at Tsuna and sweat dropped when he saw the determined face. Slowly, he took a small bit and chewed, and finally, swallowed.
Tsuna heard Levi swallow the small piece of cake and was standing only on his big toes, wanting to know if he liked it or not. He cheeks were puffed and his fists were clenched.
Levi looked away just a bit and his cheeks got somewhat pink.
"It was delicious…"
Tsuna took a few second to take this in and smiled brightly, par with the Sun itself. The two of them sat down at the small bench at the side of the room and Tsuna watched as Levi ate the whole piece mumbling,
"Save more for me to eat later…"
Once he was done Tsuna hugged Levi tightly, (but not enough to kill him, mind you) and skipped back out to where everyone else was at and Levi got back to his training. Though he was using his energy, they had pills filled with Sun flames to heal them. They just didn't use them in battle because they were Varia. They didn't need them. And they had their pride.
Hanging once again in the ceiling and being able to refrain to throwing up too, Tsuna watched as everyone was at their daily lives.
Tsuna looked back at the clock and saw that it was 10:49. He took a deep breath and yelled louder than Squalo.
"IT'S HARRY POTTER!"
He called and everyone looked at his strangely. Who wouldn't? I mean, who hangs from a ceiling and yells that Harry Potter was there? Varia just dismisses the odd action (Though not before secretly looking around for a certain wizard and his two friends), for Tsunayoshi was known to do that, but nevertheless, get up to go to Nami-chuu, after looking at the clock, that is.
Tsuna jumped down, got Levi, giving him the Sun-filled pills to get his energy back up, bids Lussuria goodbye, wakes up the Gola Mosca, takes various pieces of cake, and all of them set off for battle.
It didn't take long for all of them to get at the rooftop and spot the cow, Natsu and his friends.
They all landed on the rooftop and noticed some sort of metal Lightning attractor. Tsuna watched silently as the Cervello said it was a Lightning rod ("Yay! I was right!") And called it the-
"Electtrico Circuit!"
"Ohhh! Cool name." Tsuna said announcing himself and the others as he walked up to Natsu and The Cervello.
Right then, lightning hit the rod and all the wires and metal lit up, thanks to the lightning. Tsuna 'Ahhh'd this time and said it was cool.
"Anyway!" Tsuna clapped his hand together and smiled at everyone else. "I got something for you!"
Tsuna took the cake out of nowhere (Only God knows where he put them). Everyone turned to Tsuna as he madly giggled. After giggling, Tsuna handed some pieces of cake and forks to the Vongola group and Reborn.
"Ah!" Natsu said, surprised. "T-thanks…"
Right when he was about to eat it, Gokudera shouted.
"Jyuudaime! Don't eat it!" Everyone turned to the bomber.
"G-Gokudera-kun! W-what is it?!" Natsu asked with curious eyes. Gokudera's eyes narrowed at the cake, looking a little sick.
"He could have poisoned it!" Natsu sweat dropped. He was obviously thinking about his sister, Bianchi.
"Hey! Don't accuse me of such things!" Tsuna huffed and ran towards Natsu. Taking his fork, Tsuna took a small piece of the edge of the cake and ate it. Natsu immediately blushed. "See! I told you! I'm totally fine! I've done this kind of this before. Unless it's at a party, if you're giving someone something poisoned to eat or drink, you kill them immediately. Something that will do it in an instant. You should know this kind of stuff, Gokudera. Your sister is Bianchi, the Poison Scorpion." Gokudera narrowed in jealousy and envy. He wanted to save Jyuudaime.
"Anyway~!" Tsuna turned to the Cervello. "What are your names?"
The Cervello looked surprised. Nobody bother to ask them what their names are because they looked too alike. They just called them Cervello. They quickly regained their composure and answered the said question.
The Cervello on the right answered first. "Cynthia"
The one on the left answered next. "Jadea"
Tsuna skipped to them and handed them a piece of cake. "Here you go!" Tsuna giggled at the surprised faces and skipped back to the Varia and started to talk to Levi. Cynthia and Jadea wasted no time and started eating the delicious cake, along with the rest of Vongola. Lambo already finished him and asked (commanded) for more but Tsuna said he was going to get a stomach ache if he ate anymore and that he'll give the cow some when they finished they battle.
"Now, I want you to be a good boy and beat the cow, ne? Don't get hurt. Oh! And by the way, I saved some more cake for you. Everyone else too. You have to share with everyone." Tsuna turned to Natsu and his friends. "And you can have some more if you want too! I'll give you some tomorrow." Natsu was about to cut in but Tsuna beat him to the bush. "Don't ask. I have a way. And, Natsu, can I ask you a question?" Natsu perked up.
"W-what is it…?" Tsuna looked him seriously in the eye. Everyone, including Reborn but secretly, gulped.
"How…Do you pick a COW as a Thunder Guardian?!"
Tense atmosphere broken. Rainbows and sunshine back. Cow jumping up and down. Deadly silent.
"How?! It has been in my mind ALL DAY! It is a COW for goodness sakes!" Tsuna ranted.
"T-Tsu-nii…" Natsu tried to cut him off. Working so far but Tsuna looked truly confused. "L-Lambo's no a cow…" Now Tsuna looked shocked, even more confused, and intrigued. "He-he's just…I really don't know…" They all turned to Lambo. He was jumping up and down, asking Cynthia and Jadea how to play with the Electtrico Circuit, or, as he had dubbed it, the 'Playground'. "Lambo." Natsu called and Lambo turned to them, snot dripping from his nose. Tsuna only saw a cow, no matter how closely he looked.
"What is it, Dame-Natsu?" Lambo picked his nose and sniffed his finger.
"Why…do you dress like a cow…?"
Everyone was silent. Varia watched with interest. Tsuna was still concentrating hard on Lambo. The Vongola were just deadly confused.
"…" Lambo was silent for once. He seemed to consider thinking about it. "Lambo-san…liked the color black and white together…" Everyone seemed intrigued with Lambo's answer, not to mention he wasn't using his bragging voice. He sounded serious for a 5 year old kid/cow. "Lambo-san's parents told Lambo-san about these Yin and Yang things before they were hit…How they were different but still understood each other…One black and one white. Different in everything but stayed together as one…Lambo-san liked Yin and Yang and cow was the closest thing Lambo-san could find close to Yin and Yang." Tsuna eye's widened and so did everyone else's. He didn't sound like an obnoxious brat. Tsuna smiled, then started to giggle, and started laughing out loud. It wasn't a scary laugh but a, somewhat, happy laugh. Others then smiled or smirked and some started to chuckle. Cynthia and Jadea smiled a bit. They couldn't help it. The cow kid was right. Both turned to look at each other, thinking the same think.
'Yin and Yang were like Varia and Vongola.'
Unfortunately, the happy times couldn't last. They were there for a fight for the Vongola rings. They were here to win.
"Let us explain how the Electtrico Circuit works. The Electtrico Circuit is appropriate for the Thunder guardians." Cynthia said, Jadea continued.
"The wires at the bottom are special wires that conduct electricity easily." She said. Cynthia continued.
"Electricity that is enhanced several times runs through them." Cynthia said. Natsu looked scared.
"Geez! You would get burnt to crisp!" He said shakily, even though he wasn't the one fighting.
"Ushishishishi." Belphegor laughed, per usual.
"They knew there would be a lighting storm." Gokudera said as he clenched his fists. Tsuna had the sudden urge to hug him.
"Lambo-san wants to play with it!" Lambo ran up to up, hands out in front of him with his little yellow boots on, but Natsu took hold of him in his arms.
"Wait a sec!" Natsu yelled as he grabbed Lambo. Lambo looked at him. "Lambo, it's dangerous." Lambo squirmed, saying how he wanted to play with it. Natsu suddenly had the gloomy aura around him. "He thinks this is some kind of amusement park!" Natsu looked at the Varia to see how they were handling it. It made him sweat drop and became even gloomier. Squalo was holding down Tsuna, who was trying to get out and go toward the Electtrico Circuit. He swore that he heard-
"I WANT TO PLAY WITH IT!"
-that.
Natsu sighed. Lambo and Tsu-nii were no different from each other. Lambo continued squirming until his horn dropped. Gokudera bent down and picked it up, looking at it closely.
"You dropped your horn again!" Natsu sighed for the nth time.
"Taku! Ahoshi…" Gokudera took out a sharpie and wrote something on the horn, muttering, "Stupid cow…"
"Yosh! Even if you lose, someone will bring you back." Gokudera held up the horn that show,
'Stupid cow'
Natsu and Lambo looked at the horn with disbelief.
"He even wrote stupid on it!"
Meanwhile, things were as different on the other side.
"I WANT TO PLAY WITH IT!" Tsuna yelled as Squalo held him down, obviously struggling.
"V-Voooiiii! S-stay…down…!" Squalo was experiencing a miracle since he wasn't on the floor wheezing. Thank fuck that one of his arms were made of metal.
Tsuna finally calmed down. He puffed his cheeks out. "Hmph! Fine…" Tsuna grumbled as he crossed his hands and pouted. "Anyway!" Tsuna turned to Levi. "Do your best, Levi-a-than! You never know what could happen!" Tsuna pumped one of his fists in the air. "Kill the cow!" Tsuna did a little happy dance in a circle and then turned to the identical pink haired women. Cynthia raised one hand
"The Thunder ring. Levi-A-than versus Lambo. Battle start!"
Both Levi and Lambo stood in the middle of the Electtrico Circuit, looking at each other. Levi could, honestly, not believe he was fighting a five year old. It was kind of awkward. Varia watched with anticipation. Bel smiled.
"This is a really sad situation." Mammon, who was being held by the Gola Mosca, threw in his own two cents.
"He'll die in a second."
Levi watched as Lambo started patting the wires and talking to himself. His eyebrow twitched. He felt kind of lowly, knowing he was fighting a kid, dressed like a cow, nonetheless, for something that could change the whole future. It was intimidating.
Tsuna looked at the Vongola side. Natsu was grabbing his hair in frustration while Gokudera was yelling at the cow not to do this and that. He had the same urge to hug the octopus head. Tsuna then immediately snapped his head toward Levi and the cow when he heard a crackle. It was lightning. He watched with amusement as Levi jumped out of the lightning's way and the cow got shocked and started screaming as lightning coated his tiny form. It was hilarious.
"Lambo!" Natsu called with worry evident in his voice while Tsuna was trying to hold back his laughter. The kid was making funny screaming noises in weird positions, stayed in the air for a few seconds, and then just fell flat on his face. Levi landed back down and Jadea walked up.
"I will confirm Life or Death." Levi held his hand out to stop her from carrying on.
"There's no need. He's burned." Levi was then cut off by a small grunt of pain. Levi looked over to his opponent. Lambo sat up and started crying his eyes out. Tsuna was unable to keep the smile off of his face. The kid had some awesome electricity power. Tsuna eavesdropped when Reborn was talking and explaining to Natsu.
"Lambo's physiology has changed after being struck so many times with lightning. It's an Elettrico Cuoio." He told the confused Natsu and Yamamoto. Gokudera already knew it, somewhat, with all his brains. "It means 'Electric skin' in Japanese. Skin that can easily conduct electricity. Lightning that strikes him passes through his skin and into the ground. There's barley any damages to his brain and organs." –Tsuna heard Gokudera mutter 'If he has any brains…' – "So Lambo can not only damage others with Lightning, but becomes the Lightning rod that accepts all damage towards the family and destroys it: that is the duty of the guardian of Thunder." Tsuna nodded in respect. Who knew what they would do if Levi was gone. Who would take the damage that Xanxus causes if Levi wasn't there to take it for them? Varia, also hearing Reborn's explanation, turned slightly green, thinking about what would happen if Levi wasn't there. Xanxus, the only one not listening to Reborn, turned toward his group with a raised eyebrow. What were they green about?
Lambo held his burnt tail with watery eyes. "My tail…." Reborn continued, unaware of the whole Varia group, sans Levi and Xanxus, listening in on him.
"The stupid cow's body exemplifies that duty, even if he is stupid and annoying." There was a pause. "There is no one more worthy to become the guardian of Thunder." They got ticked off at that point. Levi fit that role perfectly! And that's when Tsuna decided to make his listening know.
Tsuna 'apparated' like Harry Potter behind the Vongola group. They turned toward him surprised. The rest of Varia was also glaring at them.
"How could you say that!? I believe that Levi fit's the role of guardian of Thunder!" They looked at him with confused faces. Tsuna puffed out his cheeks, making him look adorable, not that anybody would tell the trained assassin. "Levi will win this battle! He's our Thunder!" Tsuna put his hands of his hips. Natsu and his friends gave Tsuna a sad look. How could they have not understood what he was feeling? He really did care about Levi-
"IF WE DIDN'T HAVE HIM, WHO WOULD HAVE TOOK XANXUS'S RAGE?!"
Never mind. Tsuna just didn't want to die by Xanxus. They sighed and looked at the rest of the Varia. They sweat dropped when they saw that they too were nodding furiously. Xanxus just looked at them with the eyes that said 'Did I just hear my name?'
"GO LEVI! GO GO GO! YOU CAN DO THIS! LEVI-A-THAN!" Tsuna cheered as he jumped in the air, pumping his fists. They all turned their attention towards the battle.
Levi narrowed his eyes at Lambo. Belphegor laughed.
"Ushishishi, that got Levi ticked off. I suppose that's a good thing."
"I'm sure." Mammon said. Some may assume they were best friends with the way they talk to each other but they're more like enemies with an alliance. "Right now…Levi's burning with jealousy."
"Worthy of becoming Guardian of Thunder, huh?" Levi remembered when he was younger and getting into dozens of street fights. 'I've completed even the most brutal missions with perfection, and I have never been late to an appointment. And all that because…'
'Good work, Levi.' Said a gruff voice.
'Boss…'
'Because I wanted to be praised by boss: that's why I became guardian.' Levi thought. 'Being recognized by boss was my only reason for living…' Levi looked at Lambo more intensely. 'But then I meet the rest of the Varia…and spent more time with them…And I became one with them before I even knew it.'
"A brat like you…" Levi said and Lambo dropped his tail in fear. 'I will not fail them!' Levi ran up to Lambo and punched him, sending him flying back. Levi walked up to Lambo and pulled out one sword from his back that had lightning around it like a snake. "Die." Levi ignored the cries from the cow's team. He was intent to take down this brat. The brat pulled out something from his hair, confusing Levi but he just dismissed it as nothing. Just when the brat jumped in the thing, Levi thrust the sword forward.
There was a boom and pink smoke fill the area of where Lambo was standing. The ring bounced a few feet away. Levi stared at the area and tensed when a dark voice spoke.
"Yare, yare," The smoke cleared and a teen with dark hair with one lazy eye and hold a dumpling with chopsticks appeared. "I didn't realize pop-stickers would be my last supper." He calmly bit the dumpling. Levi glared.
"Voii! Who is that?! An outsider?!" Squalo sneered in confusion, anger, and excitement. "Voooiiii! Let me at 'em!"
"No," It was Jadea. "He is the form of the Thunder Guardian 10 years from now, summoned by the 10 year bazooka." Cynthia continued. "He is still the candidate, thus, we acknowledge him. The match will continue."
Ten year later Lambo reached forward and picked up the Vongola ring that was attached with the chain. He took of his bib (Why was he even wearing that?) and placed the necklace around his neck. Levi glared at him.
"Whoa. How interesting." Belphegor smiled.
"That's a first." Mammon said. Tsuna still had to wonder why those two always answered each other, even though they were enemies with an alliance. Truth was, Varia had founded those two together when they were mentally fighting each other (With words, not illusions. Yes, that's you Mammon. Plus, Belphegor doesn't even know how to making illusions.)
Tsuna watched as Natsu said some apology and Lambo said something back. Stuff happened that when into a blur with Tsuna when Levi and Lambo started saying things to each other. Finally, Tsuna was snapped out of his consciousness when Lambo started his attack.
Lambo bounded back, pulling to horns from his pocket as he went. Tsuna listened to the name that the adult cow had yelled out. You never know, it might come in handy for future reference.
"Thunder, set!"
Lambo rode the horns to the darkened sky and then pulled them towards his head, setting them there. Over him, lightning formed around him and came down with a crackle, surrounding his body.
Mammon went through the information in his head out loud. "He called down the Lightning, bypassing the lightning rods. Somewhat surprising."
Even over the Lightning, Reborn's voice was as clear as thunder.
"Holding that much electricity in the horns is only possible because of his physiology."
"Is that a high-level technique…?" Natsu asked with a somewhat trembling voice, Tsuna watching from behind. Gokudera pumped a fist in the air. Again, Tsuna felt the odd need to hug him…
"Do it, Ahoshi!" He cheered, happy that his Jyuudaime has a chance to winning the leadership of Vongola.
The adult Lambo smirked as lightning radiating from his horn crackled around him.
"Let do this."
Levi had his arms crossed; no anger evident on his face but Tsuna and the Varia could tell better than the others. Their Thunder was angry. The adult Lambo was an enemy that could possibly take one down. Levi was serious about what was happening at the moment and he was ready to do whatever he could to take down the enemy of Varia.
"In order to gain the boss' trust, I will become the Guardian of Thunder." Levi stated in a calm and cool voice. Tsuna walked away, Reborn only noticing him since his eyes were one the burnet the whole time, and came near the Varia group. They knew that he was there but made no acknowledgement to the youngest mind, not that he needed one anyway. They were all focused on the battle in the lightning storm.
Lambo che'd, unwilling to give up, and ran forward, shouting out his attack as he herded to Levi.
"Electtrico Cornuta!"
Levi started a counter of his own.
"Levi Volta!"
Levi's umbrella's swing up from behind his back, fully prepared, and shot up into the air, opening all the way. Lighting hit the umbrellas as Lambo ran towards the slightly taller man. The lighting surrounding the umbrellas suddenly shot off towards the adult from the future.
"Gyaaaaaa!" Lambo yelled in pain, stopping, as he was unable to move forward.
"Lambo!" Natsu yelled, worried for his friend from the future. "W-what was that?!" Gokudera said in confusion.
"This is bad." They turned to Reborn for explanation. "Even with his kind of body, Lambo can't stand that much voltage." The baby said as Lambo continued to scream in pain. Natsu stared in horror.
The lighting continued to shock Lambo. Levi smirked and his attack died down. Lambo fell to the ground, panting from exhaustion and soaking from the pounding rain the suddenly seemed to hurt ten times then it normal would. The umbrellas closed and shot to Levi, perching perfectly on his back as if nothing had happened.
"Lambo!" Natsu and the rest ran to the side, careful not to pass the line though, in concern for his injured teammate. Levi stared.
The bearded man pulled out one umbrella with his hand, the sharp end pointing dangerously at Lambo.
"Prepare yourself. You have no chance." He said, voice void of any emotion. "I will kill you."
He shot forward, ready to strike. To kill for his position. To earn a place within the Varia. To be with the people he cared about.
To be with his true family.
Levi jumped up, positioning his umbrella to Lambo. He pushed with much unneeded force and the end hit. But it wasn't Lambo that it hit. It was the hard ground that he had hit, making it crack and creating a medium hole. He looked off to the side quickly, seeing a scared looked adult with a cow shirt running away. Such a coward! It ticked Levi off. Such a cry baby didn't deserve such a high position! He deserves to be a janitor if anything!
Levi clenched his jaw. "I won't let you run!" He ran but Lambo was already to his purple bazooka. He jumped inside of it and a puff of pink surrounded the area. They were some yells of shock and worry but he ignored them. What was going to happen now?!
Lightning crack around the smoke all of a sudden. Belphegor frowned. Reborn smirked. Tsuna narrowed his eyes. Xanxus watched.
"What is this…overpowering sensation…?" It was Mammon who broke the silence. "What going on?"
The smoke slowly died away. Levi gulped. What was under there? What was making the air so tense? Was it the Lambo again? His eyes narrowed more than ever before.
It was an even older looking Lambo. He had longer hair and was so much more mature then the other younger Lambo's. Nothing changed much but…
Could he have gotten so much more powerful?
"Lambo from 20 years in the future?!"
It was Tsunayoshi's brother, Natsu. So this was that baby in 20 years. Such power.
Levi saw something falling to the ground. It was the Thunder ring. It fell into the gloved hand of the young twenty year old.
"Yare, yare" Came his deep melodic voice, so much deeper. "It's been a while since I had been summoned from the ten year bazooka." He stated calmly, as if talking about the weather. It ticked Levi off once again.
"Is that really the stupid cow…?" Said Gokudera. He must be really surprised.
"He seems so much more dependent." Natsu said in awe. He would have never expected Lambo to grow up so well. To be so mature…Well, it has been twenty years.
Tsuna, on the other hand, did not like this new Lambo. He was too powerful for Levi's liking. He knew about the ten year bazooka. He had researched it. He knew that it had a time limit and severely wished that 20 years later Lambo would go back into his own time period before they could do anything. He hoped that Levi distracted Lambo with trash talking but he doubted that it would happen. Levi didn't know about the time limit and he was always one prepared for battle. He wouldn't hesitate jumping in to save them. He knew Levi well and being a trash talker surely wasn't one of Levi's best traits. He was, as you may have noticed, a little on the silent side.
The new Lambo turned to Natsu. He smiled fondly. "Meeting you again…" His eye narrowed a bit in sorrow. "It's been such a long time…"
"Lambo…" Natsu had no idea what that had meant.
"As much as I would like to cry," He turned back to Levi. "This is no time to be sentimental."
"It doesn't matter who you are or what time period you are from…" Levi glared. "I will still kill you."
Tsuna had his hand to his chin, eyes narrowed in confusion and concentration. What did this Lambo mean by 'It's been such a long time'? Even if they lost the battle, Lambo and Natsu still should have been together. Nana had adopted him, along with I-pin and Fuuta. Though it really ticked him off (why would she abandon one only to adopt three?!), he had to focus on the matter at hand. Did something happen to Natsu? What was it that…!
No…
If Natsu and his friends did win, they'd earned the Vongola rings. Something to be very proud of. But they also gained enemies. Getting something comes with a price. Despite being strong, Natsu was still just a kid. Becoming leader of the biggest Mafia organization at such a young age would be tuff. Of course, Nono was still there to take over the leadership but he was getting old, as were his guardians. They couldn't protect him forever. This was the Mafia. There was no mercy.
Tsuna clenched his fist, not enough to draw blood but enough to sting a nerve. His jaw hardened and his bangs covered his eyes, head looking to the ground. He couldn't let this happen. This was his brother he was talking about. No way in hell would he just let go of his brother like that. Even if they were on different sides.
Tsuna looked up, determination filling his flashing orange eyes. He would have to win. He could afford to lose. If he did, Natsu would be done for. There would be no Natsu. He would have no brother. And he could not let Natsu win. If Natsu won…then he would die. Natsu was going to die according to this Lambo. He doesn't know if it already happened to the 10 years later Lambo but he could never be sure. Better safe than sorry.
But, right now, he had to focus of Levi and this new enemy. At all costs, Lambo could not win. They already lost the Sun ring and losing the Thunder could be dangerous. Fate would be against them. They had to get passed these obstacles. He would have to inform Xanxus, and maybe the others, what would happen and he would not tolerate losing his only loving family member by blood. He had to win. No matter what he would have to do.
He would go through hell to save Natsu.
Reborn didn't let his gaze fade away from the burnet boy. He had seen those eyes flash a flame orange. The eyes of Vongola Primo were glaring daggers at nothing. It gave him shivers to see them but he could only wonder what he was thinking. He had ignored the new Lambo for the most part, blocking out what he was saying, keen on observing the Varia's cloud. It really didn't make sense to him. First off, Ieyasu and Nana go abandon him, in Italy, no less, Xanxus found him after he left and recruited him [1], and Tsunayoshi is all of a sudden determined. It was in his bloodline to earn the Sky attribute but, most likely, for getting abandoned, he felt separated from the rest. But, nevertheless, Reborn would understand if the thing he was determined about was winning and beating them but it wouldn't appear so late in a fight. If he was about to start the Cloud guardian fight and the fate would lie in his hands of whether or not Xanxus would become Vongola Decimo but now? Did he realize something? Or was it just that Levi was his favorite or something? Probably not…and he wouldn't get determined in the middle of the fight…
Just what was it?
He turned his eyes to the battle at hand. It was intense. 20 years later Lambo and Levi, Natsu sprouting information that Levi was using the same attack.
"Levi Volta!" He yelled, clear as a loud crackle of lightning. The actions of before with the umbrellas were repeated and they opened. Bel regained smile once more.
"Once the parabolas are open, it's all over." He said in a deep amused voice. Mammon continued.
"The Levi Volta has no blind spots. He will either die or be forever wounded." His squeaky voice sounding over the area. Natsu hiiiee'd.
"The parabolas, which have absorbed lightning inside of them, support each other and strike." Mammon explained. It's impossible to escape." He drew; drowning out Gokudera's pesters to Lambo. "The energy gathered will hit and the same time to the center. It is a 'one hit, sure kill'. This is one reason Levi was chosen to be one of the seven Varia officers." He sighed quietly with boredom. "This match is already over."
"Die!" Levi yelled and the lighting came out, striking the unmoving adult.
"LAMBO!" Natsu yelled. It was no use. Lambo would no heed at their calls and just ignored them.
Lighting hit the rods suddenly, as Natsu pointed out, him and his team looking shocked and terrified.
"He was hit with the Levi Volta along with the Electtrico Circuit. The damage will be doubled multiple times." Mammon said. "He's charred."
Levi turned away, not one emotion through that mask of his. "He dead." 'Hopefully, the Boss was watching…'
He was about to walk away when the familiar deep voice infiltrated his skull.
"Yare, Yare…Where do you think you're going?"
Levi's eyes widened, as did some of the Varia's. It was Lambo…How was he still alive?! Levi turned around with slightly wide eyes. He was not going to get used to this. No one should be able to survive a electrical shock like that!
The lightning disappeared all of a sudden. Lambo was standing there unharmed.
"Watch." Was all he said as he raised his arm, full of lightning. It was almost breathtaking.
"ELETTRICO REVERSE!" Lambo yelled. He hit the ground harshly. Electricity spilled all over the ground, making most of them blinded for some moments. It spilled all over the building, shattering the windows with a loud CRACK!
Levi stared at the man with shock, half turned around to face the man. "You unleashed that amount of current into the ground…?"
Lambo stood up from his keeling position. "Electricity is like an adorable little kitten to me. I have perfected a perfect Elettrico Cuoio." Lightning flashed around the man hand.
Natsu brightened immediately. "That's amazing!" Yamamoto nodded with awe. "This is the 20 years Lambo!?"
Reborn spoke for the first time in a while. "He really is like a lightning rod."
Another familiar voice cut through their conversation awkwardly. "He better than I anticipated…"
Natsu looked to his left in surprise only to look the other way almost immediately. It was Iemitsu, Basil at his side. Tsuna decided to stay silent, not moving his eyes away from the on-going battle, though fully knowing that his blood-related father was standing not too far away from him. Most at the Varia, mostly Xanxus and Squalo, glared hard at the blond man. Even Levi paused at glaring at Lambo to glaring at Ieyasu for a small, but overly viable, moment before glaring once again at Lambo. It was never good to lose sight of your enemy.
"I gambled on his potential to bloom as a Thunder Guardian." The newcomer said his voice a little stronger than at first but uncertainty clear as a rainbow.
Yamamoto tried to break the tension. "He's amazing though!" It worked. Their eyes left Iemitsu and back to following Tsuna's example. Ryohei pumped up his fist, the other in a sling.
"I'm having a hard time understanding but it seems like he's winning!" His voice booming.
"T-thank goodness...!" Natsu said, worry still evident.
"He's got this battle in the bag!" Gokudera smiled at Natsu. He turned to Lambo. "Go, Ahoshi! If you lode this battle, I won't forgive you!" Lambo turned slightly at Gokudera, body facing Levi.
Lambo smirked and let out a small laugh. "It's a bit embarrassing to have you all feel happy for me." His eyes trailed to the ground. There was a pair of dirty looking horns on that floor. "That's…"
"Enough!" Levi held out his sharp umbrella, representing a sword, in threat. "I'll kill you no matter what." 'He had to do this…' Lambo picked up the horns. "I'll thrust a current into your heart!" He ran forward.
He trust his umbrella and Lambo dodged. He continued to strike, Natsu unable to keep up, Lambo dodging them all. Levi pushed the side of the umbrella that was surrounded with lightning, into the man's hands. Lambo kept up his guard.
Lambo jumped back, flipping in the air and landing perfectly steady on his feet. He held up the dirty looking horns he had picked up not too long ago. "I've been looking for these forever." He stood up a bit higher. "With that last attack, its shell broke and its true form has been revealed." The shell broke, as Lambo had just said, and the dark noticeable writing of Gokudera's handwriting stood out proudly.
'Stupid Cow'
"The insulting words that Gokudera wrote on them…"
"I just wrote them…!" Gokudera yelled in confusion.
"W-what's going on?" Natsu stuttered. Iemitsu, though he knew how much they did want him to be there at the time, took pity con the confused boys and was about to explain when a soft, clear voice entered.
"Those are Lambo's twenty years from now." It was Tsuna. Iemitsu stared at him, sadness overcoming him once again. His baby boy was here right now and he wasn't able to hold him. He wasn't allowed to love him…
And it was his entire fault.
I he hadn't abandoned him…If he had just loved him forever; if he hadn't left him back in Italy were the Mafia lurked in the dark…It was only a miracle that his son- Tsunayoshi, he meant, survived. There was always never a reason for a parent to abandon a child.
But he had a reason.
Don't get his and Nana wrong. They had loved him, along with Natsu, equally and would never forget their love. They wanted to live for both their sons, watching them grow up, learn to be mature, fall in love, have a family, smile and laugh, and finally, die. They didn't want their sons to go through the pain of knowing that their parent were dead, a very high chance of them getting murdered. They wanted to live for them.
But, alas, fate and destiny didn't allow such a happy life.
They were forced to abandon their oldest by a few seconds baby boy, at the young age of five. What kind of people were they? They cried for long nights. Nana had cried every night for almost three years. She broke down every time she saw a picture of the abandoned boy and was forced to lock them all away, unable to burn them. There was only one picture that went missing and Iemitsu was sure that Natsu had it but he didn't have the guts to take it away from him. It was the last memory he had of Tsuna. If he didn't have that, Iemitsu was almost one hundred percent sure that Natsu would have completely forgotten about this twin brother. Even though Iemitsu was somewhat determined to do just that, he couldn't take that away from his last son left.
So years later, when the Varia came to Japan and Tsuna revealed himself as their cloud, Iemitsu was horrified. He was horrified at what his son might have done while being in the Varia. You don't join the Varia for nothing. But at the same time, he was more horrified at himself.
If he just hadn't abandoned his boy, he would still be so innocent to this bitch of a world. If he had just thoroughly hidden Tsuna from them then they would have been so happy together. They would be smiling together when he was able to visit them. Natsu would be able to grow up with his brother and Tsuna would be able to grow up fully loved by his family and friends.
But he wouldn't be so sure what they would do. They were so much stronger than what many other thought that is was almost scary. If you just looked at the inventions that they created, if you look closely, they weren't stupid. And the only way to keep them from finding was to let no one know where that one person was at the moment. Even if disappearing meant they needed to keep the location from the person's family.
Iemitsu didn't know what Tsuna had done once they had left. He could have run like a child oblivious to the real world, or he could have stayed were they were told like a good boy.
And Iemitsu knew that Tsuna was a good boy.
He had probably never moved from that one bench, they only time was to buy food from the little money Iemitsu had given him and to go to the bathroom. It was a terrifying thought. How long was the boy sitting there, waiting for him. How long had the boy believed that they were coming back for them? How long had he starved? How long was he sitting there lonely?
How long had he loved them?
Iemitsu would do anything to keep those bastards away from Tsuna but they had allies, and though they too thought that they were stupid and low, they also had the same goal as them:
Kill the next heir to Vongola.
The things that they secretly did. The things that they had kept from the world. It was horrifying. The blackmail.
It had all forced him to split his family apart.
That is one reason he had chosen Lambo, a five year old boy, as the Thunder Guardian. It was a conceited reason to get rid of his fear but it a good choice. The boy had improved drastically and he became a wonderful part of Vongola. If they won, that is.
But he needed to tell his children the truth of what happened.
He just hopes he won't regret it.
He eyed the battle with fierce. He hated this stupid battle. What was the Ninth thinking going for the Varia to rule our future? Was it because he knew that his boy was a part of them and was giving him the opportunity to see him…but…Something just didn't add up. His boss was acting differently. He wasn't kind anymore and was more isolated…
Tsuna didn't know where the horns had suddenly appeared from so he kept silent from then on. Iemitsu continued, trying not to break down and trying to ignore some glares sent him way.
"H-He is correct. The boss of the…Bovino Famigalia gave them to me…I gave those to Lambo from ten years from now," He ignored his stutter and looked at Lambo, who was looking, somewhat expressionless, at the horns. "As a hint to summon the Lambo 20 years from now. I don't think he noticed though."
Lambo removed his current horn, threw them on the ground, and replaced them with the newly picked up horns.
"All's well ends well."
He partly doubted his words. Some things never went as planned.
Lambo finished hooking on his horns. "They feel so much better than those spares. Now I can use my full strength."
"Don't underestimate me!" Levi shouted. The lightning from above hit his umbrella and flashed around it. "I won't miss this time."
"I don't intend to run." He lost his cocky smirk, fully serious. "Thunder set."
Red lightning came down in a flash, heading straight for the future man. It surrounded his but he was unhurt, the horns pulling the electricity towards them.
"Ohh! That looks amazing!" Yamamoto said.
"That's extreme!" Ryohei said. Natsu decided not to say anything. His throat was dry. He was scared out of his wits, which wasn't that much.
Lambo bended forward, ready to run. "Take this. Elettrico Cornuta!"
Levi narrowed his eyes. "I know that attack."
"Eh?!" Natsu exclaimed. "He knows it! This is bad!"
"That's because it has one weakness." Reborn said from Yamamoto's shoulder.
Bel grinned widely.
"There's no affect unless you're hit by the horns." Mammon explained to the poor, confused boy, reminding himself to make the boy pay him later.
"Its short reach will be its doom." Belphegor continued.
Lambo leaped forward, shooting very fast to Levi. Levi didn't back down.
"I'll skewer you!" Levi yelled back, his umbrella's shot out from behind his back, full of lightning and shooting to Lambo.
Lambo smirked and chuckled a bit. "That was the old me." Levi didn't miss that statement and frowned, more determined than ever.
He jumped up, the lightning shot up a few feet. Natsu exclaimed in shock.
Levi was able to reach out to another umbrella, crossing them in an 'X' position, blocked the lightning but continually getting pushed back by the force. It was starting to hurt.
"Ahhh..!" He screamed in agony, though not as loudly than normal people would. Lambo smirked and the Lightning appeared to become even bigger and stronger.
"I have so much more experience than you. Come back later"
It was his arrogant voice again. It made Levi filled with anger but he wasn't able to do anything. Was this his end? Would he lose here?
"No…I can't…not in a place like this…Now now…! Uh…Boss!"
'Good work, Levi'
The name echoed in his mind. He had felt so happy then, when his boss had praised him. It was then he decided that he wanted his boss to praise him more. And then he meet the Varia and he felt so in place, unlike where his used to live, growing stronger beneath the garbage cans, were his parent had disowned him for being too scared of him.
"Put back your sword. If we continue, you will die." Lambo said.
Smoke suddenly filled the area, the crackle of the lightning suddenly gone. The Vongola group gasped. Varia frowned in confusion, no one saying a word.
It was silent, all waiting for the smoke to clear. What had happened? Who had won…?
"EWAAAYANNNYAAHAAA! GYAGYAGYAGYAGYAEWANHAN!" It was the child Lambo screaming from the amount of Lightning covering his body. It would be really funny if it wasn't so dramatic.
"Why?!" Natsu yelled in confusion. "It's only been a little while since he turned into his 20 years later Lambo!"
"It seems that the effects from the bazooka only last five minutes from the first shot." Reborn said.
"So only five minutes in total?" Natsu looked at the cow, who was half way unconscious on the ground. "Lambo!"
"Lambo-san's dizzy…" He mumbled in pain.
Levi's eyes darkened. "Just as I thought, you are not worthy of being the Thunder Guardian." He stalked forward. "I am! There's no need for someone like you!" He raised his hand, electrifying with blue lightning. He picked up the kid by the head. "Die and disappear!" He yelled anger fully evident in his voice.
"Lambo! Get out of there!" Natsu yelled. The guy was going to kill his guardian!
"No!" Yamamoto yelled and ran to help Lambo.
"That bastard!" Ryohei shot forward.
"Ah!" Gokudera growled as shot forward, passing both easily.
"Stop!" They stopped, albeit hesitantly, and looked at the speaker. It was Reborn
"If you help, you'll be disqualified." He stated, no longer on the young Swordsman's shoulder but on the ground.
Gokudera growled and turned around but made no action to move.
"What can we do?" Yamamoto asked, feeling useless. Tsuna still never moved his eyes from the battle.
"That is exactly right." Jadea said, Cynthia continuing per usual.
"If you stick even one little finger in there, you will be disqualified."
"And your ring will be confiscated." They finished at the said time in unison.
Natsu keeled down to face Reborn. "If we don't do anything, he'll die!" He tried to reason. "Please do something, Reborn!"
"We just have to sit and watch." Was the thing he said.
"DIE!" Levi's hand filled with lightning. Tsuna stared in horror.
"I think we'll be able to see a sensational ending." Mammon said.
"Vooiii!" Squalo yelled "Burn up!" He grinned, along with Belphegor, though not as wide.
Levi chuckled madly. "This is the end." He pulled out the sharp umbrella once more and brandished it.
Natsu stop up and ran forward. "Stop it!" He was stopped like the others by Reborn.
"Where are you going?" His squeaky voice said. "You'll be disqualified."
"I know…But…" He looked at Reborn, his eyes wide and scared. "I need to protect Lambo!"
Iemitsu smirked sadly at his determination, turning back to look at Tsuna sadly. Was that what Tsuna would have said is he hadn't abandoned him?
"I guess I have no choice." Reborn also smirked.
Lighting shot down onto Levi's umbrella. "This is over!" He glared at Lambo. "I'm going to burn each and every one of your cells to crisp! You humiliated me no more! You will die!"
"STOP!" Gokudera yelled but it was no use.
"Ushishishi!" Belphegor chuckled in amusement.
"DIE!" Levi raised his sword, the blue lightning flashing its trail.
He was so close, he was going to kill the brat…but the rob fell and Levi was forced to jump out of the way. They clashed with a loud noise. Levi landed safely and looked at the fallen rods. Unfortunately, they did not hit the boy but they did see who had done it.
It was Natsu.
Crouched down, wire of the rods broken, was Natsu, a firing flame set on top of his head. He spoke, he voice deeper but still fit for a child his age. "If I were to lose a dear friend in front of my eyes," He looked up with burning orange eyes. "I'll never be able to die in peace!"
Natsu stood up, and they noticed flame on his X-gloves. The Vongola immediately broke into loud whispers of 'Oh my god! That's Natsu!' and 'Jyuudaime is so cool!'
Varia, on the other hand, had their eyes wide with shock at see the flames on the X-gloves and Natsu actually interfere.
Reborn smirks, Mammon spoke, breaking the Varia's silence. "I see." Tsuna gritted his teeth in desperation. Why would Natsu do something so stupid and dangerous like that? "The middle of the Elettrico circuit is made out of metal and can conduct heat. The heat made its way through the narrow part of the lightning rod and melted them. They could no longer support their own wait."
Belphegor spoke. "But you didn't tell us, Squalo," His voice lost all its amusement but he still plastered his wide grin on it. "That there was someone who could emit such a huge flame in their little Vongola group."
Squalo was deep in thought. 'What's with that brat? He was completely different compared to the last time I saw him.' He looked, mostly glared, at Iemitsu. 'Was it this bastards doing? No…' He turned to Reborn, who was still smirking, fedora covering his face 'It had to be the Arcobaleno…sent as a home tutor thank to the Ninth patronage.'
"No matter how important you tell me it is…" They turned to Natsu. "Vongola. To be the next in line for Boss…I can't fight for things like that." His flames died down, as did his deep voice as he spoke again. "But my friends…I don't want my friends to be hurt!"
It was silent for a moment until…
"Shut up!" And Natsu was flung back by a punch to his cheek, so fast it was almost invisible. Natsu skidded on the hard ground, the shouts of his name from his friends ringing in his ears.
Natsu opened his eyes, looked at the building that Varia were standing on, looking up at the even higher elevation of the building. The smoke from the crash covered the person who stood in it but there was no mistake at who was behind the smoke.
Xanxus.
His face became distinguishable as he glared at the younger boy. Tsuna was standing next to him but Natsu wasn't able to see what he was doing as the pain spit though his spine from the punch and ground. His attention was also drawn to Xanxus.
"What are with those eyes of yours? You don't actually think that you can defeat me and become the successor, do you?" He asked, more like stated though. Natsu retaliated.
"I don't think that at all!" He yelled back, gaining some of his confidence. "I just don't want to lose a friend in this fight!" Xanxus's eyes widened in anger.
"I see then…you…" He raised his and it engulfed in his own flames.
"Xanxus-sama, you cannot!" It was Jadea. She jumped up and landed next to the tall man, Tsuna stepping back to let his Boss get a clear view of her. "If you raise your hand to attack now, the Ring Conflict will be pointless!" She said boldly, holding out her hands as if to stop him from moving. Xanxus didn't spare a look at her. "Please hold back!" She sounded desperate to stop him.
Xanxus moved his flaming hand to her. "Shut up!" She shot back, off the building with a scared scream, landing on the ground hard and hurt, her mouth open in a silent scream. Tsuna stepped back up to his position. Natsu and his friends looked terrified at the action. How could that man do such a thing?!
Natsu looked at his older brother, wondering if he would do anything. To his shock and horror, he never even looked at her. It was only now that Natsu noticed that Tsuna was looking him straight in the eyes, arms crossed. He looked like a statue. Had his eyes always been blazing orange? When did he get so serious? He felt as if those eyes were staring at his soul, gathering information on his well-being. It was scaring him. Natsu was knocked out of his wondering mind when Xanxus spoke again.
"I hadn't snapped." He stated. "I fact, I'm amused." Xanxus smiled and crazy smile, as if itching for battle, which he probably was. He laughed, scaring Natsu more than ever.
"This is rare." It was Bel that talked first from the group below Xanxus. Mammon spoke.
"How long has it been since we've seen the boss smile like that?"
"It's been eight year." Levi said. Only Levi would know that.
"I finally know why that Ninth chose you, if only for a brief moment." The scarred man said, smile still plastered on his face. The rotten little speech of yours…You weak flame…You and that old idiot would get along so well." He smiled widely and laughed out loud. "HA! This is going to be a birth of a tragedy!"
'W-what's so funny?' Natsu thought confused.
"Hey, woman, continue." Xanxus ordered Cynthia. Natsu expected Tsuna to suddenly hit Xanxus softly on the arm and tell him to be polite, as if the stare off with Natsu never happened. But, instead, when Natsu looked at Tsuna expecting something to come out of his mouth but he was still staring at him. It was very unnerving for Natsu.
"A-ah, Hai!" Cynthia, unable to go help her sister and unable to go against his will, turned to the Vongola group. "I will now announce the results of this match." He voice that used to be filled with fear was now devoid of emotion. "The victor is Levi-A-Than due to disqualification caused by Sawada's interference. The Thunder ring, along with the Sky ring, now belongs to the Varia." She stated.
"Eh?" Natsu looked down at this ring that was hanging around his neck, holding it in his now gloved hand.
"Not only the Ahoshi's ring but also Jyuudaime's ring…" Gokudera said. Basil started to fight back but was stopped by the CEDEF leader, who just shook his head.
"Damage to the field is also considered inference with the match." Cynthia explain as she held the ring that was still chained around Natsu's neck. "It is inevitable that it leads to disqualification. We decide the rules." She said when Natsu was about to say something. She pulled the ring and the chain broke easily around the boy's neck.
The Vongola gritted their teeth. "That's dirty!" Gokudera yelled, although he too knew that they could do nothing about it.
Cynthia jumped back and jumped again up to Xanxus, bending low into a bow. "Xanxus-sama, here is the ring." She held out the ring and he took it as soon as he could. He connected the half ring to his own half ring. He held it up.
"It is inevitable that this would be in my hand." He said, smile gone and his face marred with a frown. "Can you imagine anyone else besides me being the Boss of Vongola?" They gritted their teeth in anger. "Though I could kill you with this ring only, I'll kill you only after you taste true despair during the Ring Conflict…Like I did to that old fool." He glared. They had a look of shock spread over their faces.
Iemitsu yelled. "Xanxus! What did you do to the Ninth?!" He glared at the man who simply laughed.
"HA! You'll have to find out for yourself, external advisor; it is your job, right?" He mocked. Squalo and Belphegor grinned and laughed loud enough for the others to hear them. Even Tsuna broke into a smile, giggled behind his hand, looking away but was unable to not let the other to see it.
"Gah…You bastard…did you…" He trailed off in anger.
"Calm down, Iemitsu, you have no proof." Reborn spoke.
"You should put your gun away too." Iemitsu's gruff voice said.
'What's going on…?' Natsu thought. 'What did Xanxus do…?'
"Rejoice, you frauds. I'm giving you a chance. Heh…" Xanxus smirked evilly. "I'll allow the remaining matches to be conducted. If you do manage to win, I'll give you the Vongola rings and the position as Boss." H held out his hand and looked at the Sky ring. Natsu's hope that suddenly appeared disappeared the instant Xanxus grinned at them. "But if you lose, everything precious to you will be gone forever."
Natsu looked defeated. "E-everything precious to me…?"
Xanxus glared at him. "Show me the power with which that old man was obsessed with." He turned to Cynthia. "Woman, go one."
"Hai." She turned to the group. "I will now announce the combatants for tomorrows match."
There was a dramatic pause.
"Tomorrow will be the duel between the Guardians of Storm."
Belphegor grinned bigger than ever before and Gokudera gritted his teeth in frustration.
'So it's my turn now…?' The silver headed middle school kid thought.
"So it's Bel." Xanxus deep voice said. "Not bad…" Levi jumped behind him.
"Boss." Levi held out the ring. "This is the Thunder Ring. Please take it if you must." Xanxus didn't spare a glance.
"Levi…" It was silent. "If you ever do that again…" Levi bowed his head. He knew the hidden meaning behind the order.
Don't let me get like that ever again.
"Forgive me. I will not do it again."
They stood still for a moment.
Tsuna, deciding to do something, jumped down in front of the Vongola group, who immediately raised their guards. Tsuna ignored them, just as he did when they first meet, and walked up to Natsu. Placing a hand on his shoulder, he leaned in close to his brother's ear.
"Don't fucking scare me like that ever again."
It was only loud enough for Natsu to hear. Before the blond could say anything, Tsuna turned around and jumped away with the Varia off of the building.
They were out of sight in less than a few seconds.

A/N: I am so sorry. I AM SO SO SO SORRY FOR THE LONG WAIT! It's been months. I had written the beginning on the flash drive but I lost EVERYTHING and when I tried to rewrite it, I got writers block. I tried very hard to rewrite it but it just didn't work for me so I just lazed around reading all different kinds of Fanfictions. I hope I amused you and made you hold your breath with this long chapter. This is the longest chapter I have ever written before and I am terribly sorry, once again, and I hope you could forgive me. As you may now know, I am a irregular updater. I will update here and then there and I'm working on trying to set myself a deadline. Now, about the chapter, I have many reasons for people to be confused and please do not ask questions about who 'them' is (the one Iemitsu talked about). It will get revealed in later chapters but not too soon. I have also made in more dramatic and less humor, as you may have noticed.
I love you guys by the way. 144 reviews, 270 favorites, and 353 followers. You guys are the best…I'M SORRY AGAIN! I will try and update as soon as I can! Bye~!
[1] – Reborn and the others don't know that Xanxus had taken Tsuna in. He had kept it a secret from every except Maira. Only Varia and Maira know about that and also, I plan to introduce Maira soon~!
