AUTHORS NOTE: I just wanted to say thank you to a guest who reviewed this story. I'm sorry if you don't like my OC's name, but I'm glad you were honest. Anyway thanks to you I got more juice for my evaporating mojo. I hope whoever reads this if you review or not will enjoy this story. …anyway onward!.. =D Also the reason I used 'their' is because Garra and the raccoon are two different people/creatures even though they are one body.

CHAPTER FOUR

{recape}

When Garra had finally moved completely off, Sahara checked over her body and found that all the blood had dried on her clothes causing it to look like she was wearing a bizarre outfit of red and black and the sand had managed to get in between her clothes and skin not to mention it burrowed into the dried blood on her clothes.

Sahara bit her bottom lip and shook her head at the state of her clothes, "I need a shower and a new pair of clothes." She said to Garra as she stood up and didn't bother trying to brush herself off, knowing that the sand wouldn't come off having stuck to the now drying blood on what was left of her clothes. "Who did this to you?" A voice that sounded like Garra but deeper asked, well more like growled out from behind Sahara. Sahara whirled around ready to fight until she realized with surprise that it was Garra only his sand raccoon had come out and he was half-transformed. "Calm down Garra." Sahara ordered as she took a step in his direction reaching out with one hand. Garra didn't pull away but he didn't make any effort to show that he had heard her. Sahara put a hand on their face and made them look her in the eyes. "Garra I need you to change back into your human form. I need you to help me go back home so I can shower and change clothes. Please Garra." Sahara's voice cracked as she added the please. Her whole body was starting to feel overheated and everything around her was beginning to blur. Garra must have sense something was really wrong with her because he didn't have to fight the raccoon demon as long as he usually did to change back into his human form. Garra's arms encircled Sahara just seconds before she blacked out.

Sahara woke up her body was freezing and yet burning at the same time, "What's going on?" Sahara asked her demon's however there was no answer just a multi-colored speck floating down a long black hallway filled with doors. Sahara sat up and followed the multi-colored speck down the long black hallway and up several dozen flights of stairs small chunks of the walls were missing and Sahara could see outside.

Not knowing what else to do and not willing to wait Sahara looked around for the multi-colored speck only to realize with a start that she was standing in the middle of a huge room empty of everything except for her. Sahara walked to the center of the room and slowly turned in a huge circle the only opening in the room was the way she had just come from. "Seriously what is going on? Where am I? And what happened to Garra?" Sahara asked her demons but again there was no answer and Sahara was beginning to get worried. Remembering how she was clothed when she had blacked out she looked down and was surprised to find out that she was clad in a silk black shirt that covered her right shoulder and left her left shoulder and arm bare, it hugged her figure and ended an inch above the black silk pants that she found herself wearing. The pants fell down to her ankles, their waist was elastic and they fell loosely over her hips down into wide bottom.

"When did I get changed into this?! Seriously guys come on, this isn't funny. What happened?" Sahara asked for the first time since she could remember she was beginning to panic as still no sound came from inside her head. A loud boom sounded from close and yet far away coming from the direction of one of the chunks in the wall, and immediately Sahara ran over and slowly peered out from the hole in the wall. "What…" Sahara whispered to herself as she realized that the world outside of the hole in the wall was extremely different from the world that she knew. Sahara reached out a hand and touched the hole and finding it soft but cold underneath her hand she began to claw at the hole making it wider.

When the hole was big enough Sahara shimmed out of the hole and found herself in the middle of what had to be a grey jungle, loud noises came at her from every angle, a breeze that caused her to choke and cough blew harshly into her face. People of all shapes and colors were passing by her talking to themselves wearing clothing she had never seen before, some of them looked her up and down and whistled or made crude remarks. Unsure of what to do Sahara stumbled down into what looked like a long black tunnel. It was filled with tons' of more people and Sahara begin to look at their faces desperately hoping to find someone that she knew even as she continued to try to get a response out of her demons. In desperation Sahara begin to run, to where she didn't know all she knew is that she needed to be alone to figure things out and to get weapons, clothing, food and shoes then she would try to find someone she knew, preferably Garra.

My name is Sahara, I am from ancient times…well at least I was. I am still un-clear on many things however what I do know is that I am in a place called Japan. I haven't seen anyone that I know, I haven't made contact with any of my demons, and I am unable to use any of my skills. The reason for you is to keep track of my life and to make sure that I do not go insane. It appears that no one I know…knew is alive. Time seems to have moved on without me. How, why, and what happened I do not know. I have tried many times to re-find the place that I came out of however I am beginning to lose hope that I will ever find that place again. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope that maybe Garra still exists even in this place which from what I gathered is called the 20th Century.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Journal,~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am shocked daily by how much time's and people have changed in this time and place. I have realized there is one bonus about living in this time, here there is no-one trying to kill me which means if Garra is still alive I could stay with him for the rest of my life and not have to worry about someone finding out about him and killing him.
Journal, September 12th, 2014
I have lived the past 50 years in the 20th Century Japan. And in this 21st Century I have finally found the place that I first crawled out into the world from the world I was born/created in. I found several diary's apparently written by Garra and continued by his family after he died. In these diary's I have found the answers that I have been searching for. Apparently after I blacked out my body begin to glow and a multi-colored light encircled me. Garra tried everything to wake me up but I never awoke. He didn't trust anyone with me but himself however after twenty seven years a woman called Sakura broke down his wall's and they fell in love. He showed me to her from where he kept me hidden in a sand cave that he had created just for me, she washed me off and dressed me in a new pair of clothes and for each generation Garra's children and descendants have kept me clean and changed my clothes to fit in with the era. Apparently over time demons faded from existence including mine, as did the powers to control, create and manipulate the elements. The last descendent of Garra's died without family which is why I woke up alone, the room I was in had been created around me by Garra and continued by his descendants to keep me safe. The rooms that the doors led to were filled with paintings of Garra and his family, clothes for each era, money from each era, newspapers, books, weapons, wine, pictures, video's, tapes, written journals, and different odds and ends. This was so I could learn about the world around me whenever I awoke. I still do not know nor will I probably ever know the reason that I blacked out or the reason that I still live, nor what the multi-colored light was. Honestly I am happy Garra found love, and I am grateful that he and his family cared for me, but I feel so out of place and honestly I haven't interacted with another human unless I was killing the person. I am still un-sure of how to live in this era but since Garra and his descendants have done so much for me the least I can do it honor their memories by trying to fit in and live for them. Maybe one day I will find someone to love, but will I ever be able to grow old with them? I haven't aged since before I blacked out.
Journal, December 23, 2020
I believe I have finally found someone that I can live with, without fear of him growing old and dying. His name is 'The Doctor,' and he is the last Time Lord, the thing he travels in is a time machine called a TARDIS.
I believe that this is the man I have been searching for, maybe even one day we will grow to love each other, but for now I am content finally having someone beside me FOREVER.
