Silena screamed. She fell flat against the glass floor, which were actually doors. Katrina and Amy ran into her in their rush to get to Silena.

"What is it?" Katrina cried.

"Well, it can't be anything good, if it attacks us in the first thirty seconds of our quest!" Amy laughed, trying to keep the mood light, but nobody felt it, not even always cheerful Amy.

Silena glanced at the bottom of the floor. She watched quietly as the boat traveled down the monster's throat, the bpat rocking and being squeezed. She knew that the boat would never break, but she was still worried.

"Well?" Katrina asked.

"What?" Silena jumped.

"We're in the sea, Seaweed Girl. It's your call. Do something, or we're all dead!" Amy cried frantically. Amy ran to the corner of the boat, where a fountain made for Iris-Messages resided. Katrina followed her.

"Call Chiron!" Katrina yelled, pushing forward. Silena barely heard her as she tried to concentrate on the water around her. Amy panicked.

"Rosemary!" Amy nearly shrieked at the fountain. Rosemary was very stable, and the girls always turned to her when times got rough.

Silena plugged her ears. She thought of the water surrounding them. She felt a tug in her gut. She concentrated on the feeling, willing the water to come to their aid. The water roared around the ship. Silena grinned. She knew that she was about to be victorious.

Suddenly, the water stopped. The boat started to sink. Silena screamed as she fell to the ground, hitting her head.

Silena woke up. She was back in her cabin. Percy and Annabeth were siting on either side of her bed. Percy stroked her honey colored hair. Annabeth was gently feeding her nectar. Silena lay back down, her sea green eyes closing again.

Then, Silena really woke up. She wasn't at camp. Her parents weren't there. But she was in a bed. And she was drinking nectar. She sat up. Amy and Katrina were sitting at the foot of her bed, talking quietly. She twisted, trying to take in her surroundings.

"We're underwater!" Silena gasped.

"No duh, Sherlock." Amy's words came out gurgled and bubbly-sounding. Her movements were slow and sluggish. Silena, however, felt completely at ease in the water.

"We're with the mermaids!" Katrina cried excitedly, her hands busily weaving seaweed.

Silena nodded. She stood up and swam into the surrounding area. Even though she was in the water, she tripped over a clump of seaweed.

A hand suddenly appeared in her vision. She took it and sstood up. She thought it was Amy or Katrina, so she looked up and smiled. Then, her smile faltered. She looked into stunning hazel eyes and a gorgeous face.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

"Yes." said Silena.

"Great! I'm Scott."
