A/N: For various reasons, I have decided to cut out chapter four of the game, as the chapter seems a bit unnecessary to me, aside from Florina and Wil joining the army. So I will implement their introduction into the story in a different way. I hope you guys don't mind.

Lyndis had been sitting on a tree stump a few hours before midday. The sun was up as were more people. Sain and Kent both stood by their horses before Lyn both shrugging their shoulders in apparent confusion.

"I don't know where Mark went. He could be anywhere really. Maybe he went to gather supplies." Kent suggested as Sain nodded in agreement.

"Sounds about right to me. Or maybe he just wandered off. Given how early he went to sleep he probably got up and bored and went around the village." Sain suggested before Lyn closed her eyes thinking to herself trying to sum up where her ally went. After a moment, her eyes reopened.

What she saw caused immediate concern. In the distance, behind Kent and Sain, was Mark. Holding his right arm, his eyes closed and pain almost painting his face. Lyn seeing this immediately leapt off of the tree stump and began running towards her wounded friend. Kent and Sain caught on rather quickly and followed Lyn, both were shocked by the damage to Mark's arm. The three reached their injured friend and Lyn spoke.

"What in the name of Mother Earth happened?" Lyn asked her male companion whom merely winced in pain as Kent grasped his wrist and slowly created leverage to get a better look at Mark's arm. Mark winced in pain.

"Dear Elimine….Your shoulder has to be fractured at least. Possibly even broken." Kent analyzed as the tactician nodded.

"Nothing a few vulneraries can't fix….Though, that can wait. There are more pressing matters at hand. I was captured by bandits and they used me as a hostage to take the shrine over. They have several hostages still in their grasp. I managed to escape, I thought you guys might be able to help." Mark suggested as Kent slowly withdrew a vulnerary and gently dabbed some onto Mark's wound. The tactician shuddered in pain under the sting the vulnerary caused by helping close his wounds and heal him. Unfortunately, his arm would still be in immense pain for a while.

"Kent. Allow Mark to ride with you. All three of us are going to save those people!" Lyn ordered. Kent nodded and helped Mark onto his horse before climbing on himself. Sain leapt onto his horse as Lyn quickly began a dash towards the temple. Sain following immediately after he had climbed on top of his horse. Kent turned to Mark.

"Hang on with your good arm. This is going to be a bit bumpy." Kent warned as his horse immediately took off, almost like a bullet down the grassy plains in pursuit of Lyn and Sain. Mark looked in the direction of the temple. There wasn't much time until Glass and his bandits began executing people.

After about ten minutes, the three had finally reached their destination and stood on the outskirts of the temple, but kept their distance. Being spotted so soon would risk the lives of those captured inside. They needed a plan to get in without being spotted. Mark looked up.

"I have one plan….Kent….Sain. Attack head on. Lyn….I will take you to a weak point in the wall. While I was inside, I managed to damage a wooden wall enough for there to be cracks and lights leaking in. If you strike it a few times with your sword, you'll break right through. You can ambush them from behind while Kent and Sain assault them from the front." Mark suggested still holding his wounded arm, but carefully attempted to get off of the horse.

"Kent and Sain are more experienced fighters. Not to mention have far better armor. They are less likely to die from a frontal attack. Lyn will cut off any trying to inform their leader and attack those trying to hold off Kent and Sain from behind. That will prevent those holding the prisoners captive from knowing of our presence before we can stop them. While you guys fight, I'll move on ahead and scout out further enemies and if I'm lucky, locate the prisoners." Mark suggested in a seemingly exhausted manner. Lyn, Kent and Sain looked to each other cautious of the plan. Lyn immediately objected.

"No. While the plan overall isn't bad, I disagree with you running off alone in your condition. I'm going to stick by you the whole way Mark." Lyn insisted as Kent shook his head in his own defiance.

"I am not sure about that Lady Lyndis. You should meet up with us. Once you bust in, then you will be unable to flank retreating enemies. It would be best for all four of us to stick together and fight our enemy as one united force."

"And leave him to the pack of bandits? Wounded and without protection? No way!" Lyn answered back. Mark thought for a moment and simply nodded in response.

"Lyn has a point there. Scouting ahead is the smartest possible strategy so we can gather numbers on the enemy and plan accordingly for each particular group we encounter, however, there is one problem. I get found out, I am a sitting duck. I can't fight back in my condition. Having someone to help guide me and fight if things go sideways would be wise. Silence the enemy before they kill the scout and inform the other enemies is the smartest way to go." Mark suggested as Kent and Sain looked to their other two companions. Sain immediately nodded.

"Yes, sir! I think it's time to save those prisoners!" Sain suggested before darting off in the other direction to confront the front of the shrine. Kent grunted in annoyance before Mark leapt off the horse as Kent sped off after Sain. Mark turned to Lyn whilst holding his shoulder and quickly began running as fast as he could. Lyn immediately following suit. After a short period of running, they reached the small wooden area of the shrine. He quickly began to examine the wall. He continued until he managed to spot a slight crack. With some blood evidently at the crack.

Realizing this, Mark slowly wiped his finger against the blood. It wasn't wet. It was, at least to a degree, dry. He slowly rubbed it with his thumb and index finger before nodding to himself.

"Coagulated blood….Yeah. This is the spot." Mark stated as Lyn arched an eyebrow in confusion.

"Coagu-what?" Lyn asked in confusion. The tactician turned to his female companion.

"When blood leaves the body, it begins to dry, or rather, coagulate. Tacticians are supposed to recognize these things, and from what I can tell, this blood is quite fresh. Though it coagulated recently. There is a crack here, the wood is somewhat corroded here. The size of the room from outside seems about the same as from the inside. By these factors, I can safely assume this is the area I continued striking when I was trapped." Mark now turned back to the wooden structure. Lyn's eyes widened as she suddenly came to a bit of a realization.

"Wait….You mean that wound was caused by you? Not the bandits?" Mark nodded in response to his companion's question. The pain in his shoulder continued to nip away at his mental endurance. Part of Mark regretted attempting to escape that way, as the wound was serious and odds were, it was infected. Sure, a few vulneraries could patch him right up, but it still hurt like a hell in the meantime.

"I was trying to bust myself and the prisoners out. Unfortunately, it only ended with me messing up my arm. Though, it did leave an alternative opening for us. We can't keep talking. We need to get in now. Before the bandits get to their leader." Mark warned. Lyn simply nodded in agreement before quickly slamming her blade into the wall as hard as she could into the damaged wooden structure.

The blade cut through the wood as if it were butter, but the wall was not yet open enough for the two to get into the building. One more shot would do the trick. Lyn having anticipated the prediction from Mark simply attempted yet another strike, and this time, it broke through even more wood. The wall was not busted down, but there would now be a hole. One big enough for Mark and Lyn to fit through. Lyn simply peered inside to make sure no one was inside.

"I'll go first," Lyn said without even consulting Mark. One leg at a time, the Sacaen swordsman slowly entered the building through the entrance she had created. Mark meanwhile kept a look out to ensure none of the bandits got too close. Unfortunately, one spotted Mark as he had attempted to enter when Lyn had gotten in.

"Oi! You! You're that bastard who escaped earlier!" He called out before he began a full on sprint towards me. At that moment, Mark realized that the entire plan had failed. At least that's what he thought. The next thing Mark knew, an arrow pierced the man's skull causing him to hit the wall as the arrow punched a hole straight through his head and impaled into the wooden wall.

"What the…" Mark muttered to himself before turning to see the individual who had launched the arrow. He saw no one despite the fact that his calculations placed them where he looked. Before Mark could investigate further, he heard Lyn call out to him.

"Mark! Come on!" Mark snapped out of his state of confusion quickly climbing completely into the building. The male slowly followed the swordswoman quietly as the pair silently made their way through the building. Lyn held her sword tightly as the sound of battle ripped through the building. Sain and Kent made their move. Mark quickly looked toward Lyn.

"Your time to shine." Mark ordered and Lyn nodded as she now hugged a wall. Her back pressed tightly against the wall as she waited at the corner. Calculating.

Kent and Sain leapt off their horses to combat a total of two bandits and quickly unsheathed their swords knowing the advantage it would give them against the bandits and their weapon of choice. The battle ensued almost immediately as Sain impatiently charged at a bandit aiming his sword for the chest of his foe. The bandit anticipating this quickly leaned to the right causing the blade to miss him completely. Seeing an opening, the bandit swung his axe in the opposite direction of his body.

Sain was a bit surprised by the bandit dodging his strike and quickly used his sword to block the axe, causing the sword to break, but not snap. Lucky for Sain. The force, however, drove him a few yards from the bandit, his armor breaking the fall. Kent was having better luck as the bandit he fought made the first move and lunged at him with an axe, causing him to dodge with ease.

Kent realizing this advantage quickly thrust his blade forward with the tip hitting the bandit in the arm. Gripping his arm tightly, the bandit was open to another attack. Kent realizing this immediately stabbed the bandit once again, this time in the stomach causing him to let out a howl of pain. Kent now decided to end this bandit by pulling his arm back and slamming the blade into the side of the bandit's neck. The decapitated head now flying off of the body of the bandit whose corpse fell.

Waiting. Within mere moments, footsteps became audible. Voices calling out.

"Dammit! Get to Glass! The Sacaen militia must have caught wind of this! Since when does Empress Victoria give a damn about us?! Just execute the damn prisoners!" As they said this, they were at the corner. Lyn took advantage and quickly leapt into action and slashed through one of the bandits legs, causing him to fall to the ground. As the other realized this, he sprung into action and attempted to hit Lyn with the axe. Her agile movements and quick reflexes were a blessing. She managed to duck under the attempted attack and slam her sword into the bandits' chest. Blood now coating the blade. He winced in pain and gargled the blood that now began to drip from his dry lips. Pulling the blade free from his chest, the second bandit fell. Just at this moment, Kent and Sain had arrived on their horses seeing Lyn drop the corpse of the bandit. The knights seemed happy enough.

"Nice one Lady Lyndis!" Sain exclaimed before a new voice interrupted.

"Nice one indeed." The voice stated before slowly emerging from the opposite side of the hall. The group turned to see a fairly short male surrounded by three tall men wielding large axes. The short male had dirty blonde hair and a light brown set of eyes that had a similar color at his hair. His eyes peered at all of us. He held an unconscious girl by her hair. Blood leaking from her lips as the male sighed.

"What a pretty little thing this young woman was. Shame I had to lay hands on her." The male said in a calm, calculated tone, seemingly nonchalant about the scene in front of him. Lyn quickly made a move, only for the male to lift the girl up slightly and place the blade at the young woman's throat.

"Careful now. Do you really want to let this young woman die? I didn't kill her. I just roughed her up a bit. Anyways. I am looking at all of you right now. You want this girl to live? Drop your weapons. Now." The male demanded immediately. Lyn quivered in anger. Mark placed his hand upon Lyn's shoulder and sighed.

"We don't have a choice Lyn. We have to lower our weapons…." Lyn growled and slowly kneeled down placing her sword on the hard stone ground. Kent and Sain seeing her do this prompted them to take similar actions against their better judgment. The male began to laugh as if he had won, it looked like he had actually.

"Who are you? Why did you attack such a sacred shrine?" Lyn asked challenging me as the man crossed his arms over his chest and spoke out once more. This time, his voice oozed arrogance, even confidence. A complete shift in his calm demeanor before.

"The name is Glass. The greatest swordsman in all of Sacae!" He claimed victoriously before turning and slowly approaching something. It looked like a single sword within a scabbard. Lyn's eyes widened. She recognized this blade, the Mani Katti. The sacred blade of the shrine. Glass laid a single hand upon the hilt and gave it a hard tug with a single hand. It didn't budge.

"As the greatest swordsman in Sacae, I deserve a high-quality blade. The Mani Katti was fitting….But the damned souls of the blade….They reject me. ME! The greatest swordsman to ever lay eyes on it! This blade was destined to be mine. Yet it refuses to give me its power….So….I'll burn this palace and everyone in it….And destroy this accursed sword. If I can't have it….No one can." The male proclaimed in frustration before Lyn spoke out once again.

"Hmph. It rejected you because you aren't pure of heart. The souls only accept those with good intentions and with good hearts. I can tell just by the vermin you work with. You're scum." The male known as Glass growled and looked to the bandits in frustration.

"Kill them. All of them!" He ordered as the two remaining bandits slowly approached with grins on their faces.

"What's the plan, Mark?!" Sain called out as death seemed to be coming closer. Mark hatched a plan.

"Oh? Greatest swordsman? More like greatest coward." The male Glass hearing this seemed to grow infuriated at the notion Mark threw out. Before he could respond, Mark spoke again.

"You know you couldn't hold a candle to my friend Lyn. You are nothing compared to her. So you're trying to kill her while she's unarmed. Because you're too scared to face her one on one." Mark said with a smirk. Glass growled in frustration before releasing the girl and calling the bandits back.

"Fine. I'll show you my skills first hand! I'll kill your friend nice and slow. Then I'll go for you and those other two worms. Get up girl. Grab your sword so I can humiliate you before you die!" Glass called out in frustration. Mark's eyes peered up with a grin as his plan had worked. Lyn grabbed her sword slowly as one of the bandits grabbed the unconscious woman as Glass stepped forward with his own blade.

"You should feel honored. A proud swordsman like me, wasting my time on some Lorcan trash." Lyn was surprised that he knew she was a Lorca. It was likely her attire that gave her away, but she immediately threw these thoughts aside. Lyn dashed to Glass in a quick move and jabbed her blade forward. Glass simply leaned to the right as a scoff emitted from his lips.

"Pathetic!" Glass chided in response before moving his blade upward. If it connected it would have cut Lyn's arm clean off. Lyn, however, anticipated that maneuver. She quickly kept her arm moving so the blade would miss its target. The move on Lyn's part looked a bit sloppy. Glass seeing this immediately turned the blade and attempted to decapitate Lyn. The woman nimbly ducked underneath the blade. Her own clashing against Glass'.

Having ducked. Lyn immediately rolled out of the way and immediately jerked her body into a 180 spin. Her blade extended and outright moving for Glass. Glass immediately used his own sword to hold in place and block Lyn's blade. A slight clash ensuing as the two glared into each other's eyes.

"Not bad girly….But you'll need to do better than that!" Glass released his sword and slammed his closed fist into Lyn's jaw. Lyn winced in pain and stumbled back holding her jaw with one hand. The man seeing this advantage immediately slashed at the woman again. She barely blocked him with her own sword. Glass went for a second punch, but Lyn seeing this moved her head slightly and using the hand on her jaw to grab Glass by the fist. Bringing her sword back, she punctured his wrist causing Glass to call out in pain. With a quick motion, blood splattered onto Lyn's face. Glass' severed hand hitting the ground.

"You stupid bitch!" Glass called out as some blood leaked from his wrist. His hand now gone he staggered back. His remaining hand dropping his blade and grabbing the stub he was left with. Lyn held her blade at Glass' neck with a still face.

"You defiled this shrine. Attacked innocent people and tried to steal a sacred blade. That alone is reason enough for me to kill you. I'll give you a chance to-" Lyn's quick reflexes allowed her to catch one bandit lunging at her. Lyn's eyes widened as she leapt back and used her own blade to block a bandit's axe. Unfortunately for her. The weapons triangle showed.

The pure power and force of the bandit's swing caused the axe to crash straight through Lyn's sword causing it to shatter. Her eyes widened as she witnessed her blade succumb to the pure force of the bandit's axe. The massive weapon coming up slashed Lyn's shoulder causing her to wince in pain. Pulling back her arm as she held it tightly in her good hand. Almost helplessly holding the hilt of a now destroyed blade. Glass let out a weak laugh.

"You may be better as a swordsman, but that means you die….Then I will be the best swordsman in Sacae! Kill her!" Glass ordered as the bandit lunged forward at Lyn who could do nothing but dodge and try to remain calm despite the fact that blood was flowing from her wound and down her arm. Kent and Sain growled and were about to move before Lyn called out.

"Don't worry about me! Stay put so he doesn't kill the girl!" Lyn ordered when she noticed Kent and Sain about to make a move. The two men remembering the situation as a bandit had an axe to the young woman's neck. Mark looked up in frustration trying to figure out a plan to save Lyn. He had one final idea.

"Lyn! Get the sword from the scabbard! The Mani Katti! You have to grab it!" Lyn was in complete shock at the suggestion, not able to give Mark her full attention due to her life being at risk. Constantly dodging the attacks and trying to get strikes in at the bandit, but he was surprisingly quick.

"How! The sword only accepts someone worthy! I couldn't possibly-"

"You don't have a choice! You have to try!" Mark cried out before Lyn saw the axe coming once more from above. She rolled to the side and looked to the bandit who had lodged the axe into the ground. Her eyes went to the Mani Katti. Her eyes then went back to the bandit who was trying to get his axe free. In a conflict, Lyn tried to think. What could she do? Lyn closed her eyes tightly before dashing for the Mani Katti. The bandit finally got his axe free. Lyn meanwhile with her one good hand grasping her blade. She gave the blade a tug.

In a mere moment, the blade slipped free. Lyn's eyes widened as she now wielded the blade.

"It came out….Completely effortlessly…." She whispered. The pure amazement distracted her as the bandit rushed for her. Lyn's eyes moved up to see the bandit. She was in such shock she lost focus and it was too late to counter. Within a mere moment, blood splattered. Landing on the floor and upon Lyn's attire. Lyn was surprised to see what had happened. A pointed tip now penetrated the chest of a bandit. Blood now leaking from his lips. It was an arrow.

Lyn quickly slammed the butt of the Mani Katti into the bandit's head causing him to fall back. Everyone turned to see an archer standing from outside the shrine. Peering through an opened window. Another arrow flew, piercing the bandit who held the young woman captive in the chest causing him to call out. Dropping both the girl and the axe. The girl landing safely as the bandit completely collapsed onto the ground.

Glass growled in frustration as he was now on his knees in anger. "That….That bitch….She got the Mani Katti!? But not me!? This is an outrage! She doesn't deserve that damned sword! It's mine! That blade belongs to me!" Glass howled out in almost complete madness. He lunged for Lyn as both individuals were now handicapped with their arms now injured. Lyn's sword arm, limp while Glass had more pain to deal with having lost a hand. The two in a clash with one arm. Their swords clanged once upon Glass' initial slash.

Lyn taking a page from his book jabbed her foot forward hitting Glass in the shin. The male stumbled in pain before Lyn used her remaining foot to kick him in the jaw with a great amount of flexibility. Lyn then walked and stood over Glass who now laid helpless without a blade. Her sword at his throat. Glass growling psychotically.

"This is ridiculous! This is impossible! How could some kid beat me! ME?! The great Glass! How could this happen!?" Glass called out in anger as Lyn looked down to the male and sighed.

"I don't want to kill an unarmed man….But you have no honor. You needed help to try to win this battle. You defiled a sacred blade and this shrine. And you held innocent people, including my friends hostage. Your actions are unforgivable. For that, I must end your life." Lyn said before slowly pushing the blade forward, stabbing Glass in the throat. His eyes widened as he struggled for his last breath. Within mere moments, his body fell limp. The steel of Lyn's blade having pierced straight through his Adam's apple and blood slowly flowing from the opening she had created.

After a second of ensuring the death of her opponent, Lyn retracted her blade from his neck. Her eyes gazed upon the Mani Katti. She was silent for a moment. It was understandably hard for it to sink in. The Mani Katti chose her. After all who came before wanting the blade, she was the one the spirits waited for. Mark stood up and slowly approached Lyn.

"You okay?" The male asked. After a moment of silence, Lyn snapped back into reality and nodded.

"Yeah….I'm fine. Just….This sword….I can't believe it chose me." Lyn slowly walked back to the scabbard from where she had obtained the blade. She looked down at the sword and gave a light smile.

"Thank you spirits….But this cannot be real. I can't be the true person you're looking for….You just let me help my friends….And for that I thank you." Lyn said with a slight smile before she began to motion to put the blade back. Before a voice intercepted.

"N-No way!" Lyn stopped and turned to see a crowd of a few people staring at the young woman in awe. She was suddenly a bit worried about what her motion may look like until she realized the blade was still out of the scabbard. Before she could defend herself from the posture that she worried might make it look like she was stealing the blade, an old man stepped forward with a smile.

"In all my years protecting this shrine….I never thought I would meet the one destined to wield this blade…." He said slowly as Lyn was surprised by the response.

"No. This must be some kind of mistake….I'm nothing special. The souls just temporarily let me use the blade to protect my friends…." She whispered. The old man smiled and shook his head approaching Lyn slowly.

"No. The spirits wouldn't release themselves for anything….Except for when they found someone worthy to wield the Mani Katti. They saw your soul. Your intentions. You are kind, courageous and you clearly have morals. Unlike that ruffian. Your heart is pure." The old man chided as Lyn looked down at the weapon in disbelief.

"I insist. Take the Mani Katti. Let the spirits within it guide you. Let them help you protect your friends. The Mani Katti is your sword now…." Lyn didn't let her eyes leave the blade. She moved the sword so the iron blade rested upon her palm. The hilt still in her other hand.

"My….My sword?" Lyn whispered in disbelief before Mark spoke out.

"Wait….How did you guys get out? Weren't you locked in a room?"

"I took care of that." Another voice interjected. From the crowd of people came a brown haired male with light brown eyes. His upper body covered by a teal top, his legs covered with a white garment. A quiver at his legs, and a bow in his hand. He smiled and looked towards the group of fighters. Mark looked to the archer and chuckled.

"So you're the one who has been helping us by shooting arrows? Why were you helping us?" Mark asked.

"I just heard the shrine was in trouble. Noticed you guys were fighting them and thought I'd lend a hand when I could while helping the people who were being held hostage." He extended his hand towards Mark.

"My name is Wil." Mark took his hand for a handshake.

"My name is Mark. The knights are Sain and Kent. Kent is the one in red. Sain in green. Lyn is the girl." Wil nodded before Mark looked to his friends and then back to Wil.

"Thank you for your help….God knows what would have happened if you hadn't stepped in when you did." Mark said carefully as the archer nodded with a bit of a smile upon his face the people of the shrine meanwhile walked towards Lyn who held the sword gently. Amazement plastered onto her face.

"I never thought in all my years I would meet the Mani Katti's true owner. I am honored." Kent and Sain made their way towards Lyn and smiled at her.

"The shrine is safe Lady Lyndis. Shall we stay and rest? Or shall we resume our journey to Caelin immediately?" Kent asked wearily as Lyn looked to her wounded arm and sighed slightly.

"We'll have to stay at least for the night. That way I can heal up and we can regain our strength before continuing." Lyn said in response. Kent merely nodded, Sain immediately walked towards the most attractive woman in the crowd of people who were captured by the shrine. Kent catching Sain planning this immediately pursued to yank him away. Mark and Wil stood silently watching what happened before Mark spoke.

"Hey listen. This might be a bit forward and out of the blue, but you were a huge help in that battle. We could really use an archer, especially one of your level in our group. If you're interested, I was hoping you would join us." Mark told the archer who was surprised at the offer. He arched a brow before answering.

"Well. I am out of money and my travels are somewhat going to be difficult without coin to spend. Besides it might be interesting to see how this turns out." Wil said in response. Mark gave the archer a smile and extended his hand.

"Welcome aboard Wil." Wil took Mark's hand for a firm handshake. Wil had official joined the group.

A lone male stood at a window quietly. Inside a lone room with his arms crossed. He was looking out the window as a door behind him opened widely as a knight walked right through and stood at attention.

"My lord! It appears as though Kent and Sain have made it to Sacae in their pursuit of the woman claiming to be Lord Hausen's granddaughter. The bandits made their move as well." The knight said in a loud tone. The unidentified male held a glass of wine gently within his hand before turning his head over his shoulder.

"And the girl?" He said curiously before the knight flinched and looked down.

"Kent and Sain found her and kept her alive. The bandits were killed in action." The knight proclaimed. The male growled in anger as his eyes peered through the window. In frustration, the glass of wine shattered in his hand, blood now leaking from his palm, but showing no signs of pain as his anger was far too great for him to let the pain of broken glass deter him.

"The girl and those traitors must be eliminated….At all costs." He hissed in frustration. "Relay a message to our friend in Sacae. I'm starting a bounty for the heads of all three of them!" He ordered before the knight once more stood at attention and nodded.

"Yes Lord Lundgren!" He called out before leaving the room in a run. Lundgren clenched his bloodied fist tightly. Though a few more footsteps echoed behind him. Lundgren turned to see a mage walk into the room. A mage with a hood hiding his head. The only thing visible were his golden eyes, pale cheeks and a nonchalant expression was visible despite the hood.

"Who the hell are you? I demand you-"

"Lord Lundgren….It is nice to meet you. This Lyndis girl you mentioned….She is travelling with a male other than those two knights….I have strength, allies and I just so happen to not like that male who is travelling with them." The male said in the most chilling, monotone voice you can possibly conjur. Lundgren arched a brow in curiosity before the male opposite of him removed his hood, revealing long, black hair that reached to his shoulders. Looking at Lundgren he spoke once more.

"I believe that you and I….We can help each other." The male said to the lord before him, a nefarious aura filling the quiet room.

~To Be Continued~

A/N: Damn. That took a lot longer than I expected. I am sorry to all the fans of this series who have been waiting for this chapter I promised within a week of the last chapter, but a lack of a computer has been killing me. Doesn't help that senior year is kicking my ass, plus my work on my novels over fanfiction as of late. Anyways, I won't promise anything like that again and will try my best to throw chapters out in a more timely manner, but I promise nothing. Thank you for reading and hopefully the next chapter won't take nearly a year to be released. I also want to thank the guest who pointed out the strange coding in the previous upload of this chapter. has been doing that to me a lot lately. Hopefully that won't happen again.
