"Guetta's already a downworlder," Izzy said as I walked into the tech room to see everyone sitting around a table - looking at a picture of Magnus Bane. "Vampire, ever seen them in the daylight?" Izzy asked.

"Guys, focus. This is important." Alec said, rolling his eyes as he tapped his hands on the table.

"I hate to admit it but Alec's right," I said walking in and sitting on the table, Izzy looked at me with a questioning stare.

"Shouldn't you be in the infirmary?" She asked and I rolled my eyes.

"I'm fine, It's just a concussion, I'll get over it." I said, waving my hand dismissively.

"Alec and Belle is right, Now Magnus is the strongest Warlocks I've ever met," Hodge said, "And has a deep distrust of shadowhunters." I finished for him, and everyone looked at me with cocked brows including Hodge.

"What? I've met the guy, he does." I said, defending myself.

"Well, then why did he help my mum take away my memories? She's a shadowhunter, isn't she?" Clary questioned.

"Yeah, One of the best." Jace said. "But 'help' might not be the most accurate word. Now, did Magnus provide a service to Jocelyn? Perhaps. But more than likely your mother paid Magnus handsomely for his magic." Hodge said.

"Warlocks usually require payments before they help anyone with anything," Jace said.

"Word from the Clave is that all Warlocks have gone into hiding since Valentine starting hunting them," Alec said, and I caught his eye. He wasn't looking at anyone else apart from me.

"Valentine must be searching for the Warlock, Where did Jocelyn..." Hodge was about to say but his rune started burning again.

"Hodge, your rune, are you okay?" I asked him and he nodded.

"How do we find Magnus?" Clary asked and I chuckled.

"We don't find Magnus, he comes to us." I said, and Clary raised an eyebrow at me.

I tugged a dress over my head, one with a slit right on my back. "Hey Izzy wanted me to come and see yo...Woah." Alec's voice came from behind me and I turned to look at him. His eyes were slowly looking over my body.

"Eyes up here bud," I said, walking towards him. "What did Izzy want?" I asked him.

"Um, She wanted me to come and check that you were okay with doing this mission." He said and I chuckled.

"Alec, I'm fine." I said, putting my hand on his "It was just a broken leg, I'll be fine." I said, and he nodded before turning around and I chuckled.

"Hey, No. You're not getting away that easily. Jace told me you were worrying when I was in the infirmary?" I asked, teasing him a little and he scowled "Don't worry, I think it's cute." I said, leaning up and kissing his cheek before walking out of the room.

I walked to the training room and grabbed my seraph blade from the top row and then looked over to find Izzy and Clary. "Oh my god, you two look hot!" I shouted and they chuckled as they walked over to me and looked me up and down.

"You too Belle," Said Clary and I smiled at her as I linked my arms with my parabatai and Clary.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Asked Clary, "Last time we were here, it was crawling with vampires." She said and I chuckled at the same time laughing.

"Relax, all downworlders hang out here, you guys just came here on vampire night." I said, teasing her and she glared at me - causing me to throw my hands up in a playful surrender.

"All Clear," Alec said as he approached our group, his eyes landing on me and lingering there for a moment before turning to his parabatai - who was also my brother and nodded.

"Do you think red is my colour?" Izzy asked and I snorted.

"Iz, with your body. Everything's your colour," I commented and she smiled at me.

"Will you take that thing off, I highly doubt Magnus would want it with drool on it." Alec said harshly - ouch.

"You know I wouldn't be so sure, Men like it when I admire their jewels," She said, Alec may of thought it in one way, but I thought of it in another - causing me to choke on my saliva and slap her arm.

"Just give it to Jace," Alec hissed and Izzy sighed.

"You're such a buzzkill," She commented to her older brother before handing it over to mine.

"Keep your weapons close, blend in." Jace said and I spotted Magnus sitting with a bunch of other Warlocks and the female population.

"Clarrisa Fairchild, You've grown into a beautiful young woman." Magnus commented as we walked up to him, and I looked around - trying to spot any demons.

"Magnus Bane, the man that stole my memories," Clary hissed and I contained a snort.

"At your mother's request, she knew the risk." Magnus retorted back.

Alec shot an arrow through a circle members heart while I grabbed a nearby one and stabbed my seraph blade through him. "Valentine found us, it's too late." Magnus said, as he walked to his portal. Clary tried to catch him but it was too late, "Those were the only two assassins, it's all clear." I said as I looked at the red circle around the base of the guys neck.

"This one has a circle on the base of his neck!" Alec shouted.

"Clary, it's not safe. We have to go." Jace said as we started walking out, I wrapped my arm around Jace - feeling more protected when I was near him.

"I've got you little sis, I've got you." He whispered as we retreated from the bar - I saw that Clary was retreating behind us and I sighed walking back to grab her. "Clary, hadn't you heard my brother, it's not safe here. Trust me," I said and she nodded, as we got out of the pandemonium.

We ran into Magnus's lair, it was full of circle members and I saw one standing right near him and he was having a hard time getting rid of him with his magic. I picked up my seraph blade and threw it at his heart - it worked, it went flying through and he fell to the floor as I ran to grab the blade out of his chest. "Thank you," He said and I nodded at him.

"It's fine," I said, rubbing my hands together as I saw Clary, Jace, Izzy and Alec come through with a little girl. "Zoe, go sit with the other kids. This is no place for a little girl." He said to her lightly and she ran off to join her friends.

"I heard what you did for Zoe, you risked your life without hesitation for a young warlock child." Magnus said.

"She was just a girl, and she was in trouble," Clary said. "It's pure logic, I had no choice." Clary said.

"Everyone has a choice, most shadowhunters protect downworlders out of sense of duty but you protected Zoe because of what was in your heart. You're more like your mother than you will ever know." Magnus said to Clary, and I could see her tear up at the mention of her mother.

"Magnus, you can't hide from this battle. Valentine's already found you once, he will find you again." Clary said.

"I can summon the demon," Magnus said, and we all looked at one another. "But you must make the demand, and I warn you getting your memories won't be easy." He said.

"I will do it," Clary said.

"All right, but first the lair's location has been compromised." Magnus said, "Hold tight everyone, we're about to move." He said, as blue lights rift from his hands and I hang onto the wall.

"We're ready, everyone take their respective bits at the pentagram." Magnus said, and I stood between Jace and Clary. "We must initiate a bond, whatever you do. Do not break this bond." Magnus warned.

"My necklace, it's lightening up." Izzy said as we held hands.

"Valark is among us, do not break the bond." Magnus said when a greater demon came in front of us. "It's time for payment, it wants one of our good memories." Magnus said.

Jace's was of me and him when we were twelve, Izzy's was of Alec and her, Clary of her and her mum. Magnus put his in, Mine was with Jace and Izzy and then Alec, well his was of me. "No! The demon decieved me!" He shouted.

"Alec, don't break the bond!" Shouted Magnus, "Alec, It's okay!" Izzy shouted but it was too late.

"Alec," I whispered, as I knocked on his door causing him to look up from his bed. "Can I come in?" I asked and he put his book down onto the table before patting his bed. I crawled over to him and wrapped my arms around him in a tight hug.

"Alec, it's okay." I whispered, running my hands up and down his chest and he sighed - closing his eyes and leaning his head against mine. We fell asleep in the same bed that night, like old times.
