Frasier smiled at the girls' amusement and chuckled softly. "Well, that's very admirable of you both, but if you don't mind my saying so, aren't you a little young to be giving out advice?"
Cece's hand fell to her side and her pretty smile disappeared. "Look, we're not dumb, or at least Rocky's not." She said in a quivering voice. "I know about relationships, okay? I think I can give out advice, even if it's not very good advice!"
Rocky walked over and hugged Cece once more. "I never said that you were dumb. In fact, you're one of the smartest people I know!"
Cece looked at her friend tearfully and smiled. "I am?" Her voice was wobbly, reminding Frasier of similar conversations that he'd had with Niles when they were kids, trying to reassure his little brother that Nile was smarter than he gave himself credit for. Perhaps he should tell him that more often.
He smiled at Cece, grateful for her enthusiasm to help him. If nothing else it would bring a smile to her face once more. "I'm sorry if I was being insensitive." He said honestly. "You are both intelligent young ladies and I'd be honored to have your opinions."
The girls' eyes lit up. "Really?" Rocky asked, beaming at Cece.
"Yes, and you as well, Bebe." Frasier replied.
Bebe smile and put her hand on her chest. "Be still my heart. The sexiest man in Seattle and Chicago wants my advice!"
"Well of course, Bebe. I need all the advice I can get."
"Then you've come to the right place, Mr.…"
"Oh, I'm sorry, Cece." Frasier said extending his hand. "I didn't introduce myself. I'm Dr. Frasier Crane and you are-"
"I'm Cece Jones." Cece said excitedly. "And this…" she said, putting her arm around Rocky. "… is my best friend, Rocky Blue."
"Well, I think I'm in good company." Frasier said.
"So, what seems to be the problem?" Rocky asked.
Frasier sighed deeply and lowered himself into a chair. "Well, it's quite complicated but the truth is that I'm in love with someone."
Rocky leaned closer, her hand on her chin. "Hmm... I see…we're listening…"
Frasier chuckled at the unintentional use of his popular catchphrase.
"The thing of it is…" he continued. "I bid a tearful goodbye to my father, his new wife, my brother and his lovely wife Daphne and their newborn son and headed for the City By the Bay."
"Houston?"
Rocky punched Cece in the arm.
"Ow! What was that for?" Cece demanded.
"It's not Houston, you..." Rocky stopped short, most likely remembering how she'd told Cece that she was smart. "Um… You mean San Francisco, right?"
"Huh?" Cece asked, causing Rocky to cover her face with her hand before feigning a smile. And then she placed a gentle hand on Cece's shoulder. "San Francisco is the City by the Bay, isn't that right, Dr. Crane?"
"Precisely" He replied. "You see, Bebe was my agent in Seattle and she offered me the most exciting opportunity I've ever encountered. It was just too good to pass up."
"Well if it was too good to pass up…" Cece began. "Then why are you here?"
