The Bank of Perez was being robbed. Cyborg cursed as he dogged a car that had just been hurled at him. He watched as the car continued its trajectory, spiraling toward group of spectators.

No he thought, the crowd's oohs and aws turned to shrieks of terror as they fled from the oncoming car. it smashed into the pavement the force of the impact caused it to bounce into a store window, thankfully the store was also empty. Cyborg sighed in relief. Luckily the citizens of Jump city knew when to watch and when to run. Cyborg turned his attention back to the fight only to be tackled by the super strong robber. He could hear the robber breathing hard through his black ski mask as he slammed his right fist down into the street where Cyborgs head would have been had he not moved it several inches to the left. The fist had left a small crater in the cement. "Damn."

Beast Boy must have gained the upper hand as the second robber slammed into the first knocking him off Cyborg. Beast Boy as a gorilla lifted Cyborg to his feet, then shifted back to his human form. "Dude, how did these guys get so jacked?."

"I don't know," Cyborg readied his sonic arm cannon. "But its not gonna save them from getting their butts kicked." The robbers scrambled to their feet and turned to run. Beast Boy morphed to a pterodactyl and took flight with Cyborg in his claws. They chased the masked men into a ally with a gated dead end, but that didn't hinder their escape attempt as the two suddenly leaped over the gate. "Should'a seen that coming" Cyborg said as he aimed his canon at the robbers at the apex of their jump. He hit one sending him smashing into a near by dumpster.

"Tuppence!" the other yelled as he landed. He ran over to his partner who struggled to their feet. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine you idiot" They both spoke with southern accents though the one Cyborg knocked into the dumpster sounded feminine.

Cyborg took advantage of the distraction and fired again, this time he nailed both of them sending them back into a nearby brick wall. Beast Boy put him down and shifted back into human form. "Is that it?" he asked.

The Robbers stood looking ready for another round. "Apparently not" Cyborg said. Just then a large tentacles of Black spectral energy wrapped around the both of them lifting them off their feet then slamming them to the ground, holding them there.

Raven glided down like as graceful as a angel, landing in front of her team mates. She pushed down her hood. "Uh,hi."

"You- your okay!"Beast Boy exliamed unable to contain himself, he threw his arms around her in a tight hug. "Ow" Raven grunted as he sqweezed her still tender wounds. Cyborg followed suit and wrapped them both in his giant arms. 'Your hugging me" she groaned though dispite herself she was smiling.

Cyborg released them, "sorry Rae were just glad your okay. heh rhyme"

"I'm fine, mostly." Raven said rubbing her sore arm

"Where were you, did that thing hurt you? I swear when I get my hands on him I"m gonna rip him a new hole so big the old one will be obsolete" Beast Boy fumed.

"Beast Boy calm down, I'm okay really" Raven said laying a hand on his shoulders. "

"Of course she is" Cyborg said. "I bet you really laid the hurt on the creep."

Raven smiled "Not exactly but it did manage to escape."

"How?" Beast Boy asked.

"I'll tell you everything later, but right now i just want to go home and shower"

"First we gotta drop these guys off" Cyborg said nudging one of the two criminals with his foot.

Raven levitated the two and carried them over to the waiting police truck. The officers thanked her as she set them down inside. Then she climbed into the back of the T-car where exhaustion over took her.

Back at Titans Tower Robin sat at his desk, maps of the city spread out in front of him. The maps was covered in circles and Xs signifying where they had been searching for the past week. Not one section of the city was missed. Robin began to entertain the feeling that this creature took Raven out of the city. This concerned him even more. Raven was, no not was, she is tough. She's able to take care of herself. She's one of the strongest and one of most powerful people Robin has ever known. If she was able to escape she would make her way here or make some kind of contact weather or not she was on the other side of the country. Something must have happened. All the more reason to find her.

"Robin, are you okay?" Starfire asked as she entered his study with the cup of coffee he'd asked for.

Robin sighed tiredly as he took his coffee."Far from it Star." He took a long sip from the mug, it was good and strong. It would have to be for the long night ahead. Starfire saw what he was thinking.

"You have to sleep sometime. It isn't good for you to stay up so long." She laid her hands on his shoulders.

"I'll sleep when we find Raven" Robin said.

"Um, Robin I-"

"Where's Cyborg and Beast Boy?" he asked cutting her off.

"Uh, they're down town responding to a robbery But-."

"I'm going out" Robin said interrupting her again. Starfire grabbed his arm and spun him around causing him to almost topple to the ground.

"What?"

Starfire showed Robin her communicator screen. "Raven's pass code has just been used to gain roof top access to the tower."

"Lets go" Robin said as her rushed past her.

"Where are they now?" Robin asked as he ran through the maze of halls. Starefire flew beside him reading off the screen of her communicator.

How did they get in without setting of the alarm? Robin wondered as he ran. To do that they would have to be able to phase through the wall.

"They're heading for Raven's room. Could it be her?" Starfire asked flying beside Robin.

"Maybe" Robin said but he doubted it. He didn't want to crush Starfire's hope but he was sure she wouldn't just show up and not let them know right?

They arrived at Raven's door. They were about to find out.

"Be ready" Robin whispered pulling a bird-a-rang from he belt as Starfire held up a glowing hand. Robin punched in his override pass code and the door slid open. Cool air brushed them as the figure inside who appeared to be digging through Raven's drawers spun around. Glowing red eyes glared at them. He was clearly not Raven. He was big and dressed in all red looked like someone you would not fight willingly.

Regardless, Robin and Starfire attacked.
