Me: Welcome to my story, it's been around 1 year since I write this story I guess.
Adeas: Well… you have many problems which distract you from writing this story
Me: Yeah… there are many things which made me unable to write this story before.
Bale: Such as addicted with game, reading other stories, and watching anime.
Me: Yeah ri… wait a minute, that is not true..!
Bale: Yeah, it is true..!
Me: *Ignore Bale* Well since I never write this for 1 year, so I'm going to do disclaimer.
Disclaimer: I don't own Grand Chase, and most of the OCs in here is authors which I had given the permission to use them except Adeas and some OCs which I am going to insert them in the story
Me: So enjoy and maybe I will be a bit rusty…
Chapter 3: Shadow in the night, and a wielder of element.
(Adeas POV)
I try to bring myself up but I feared that I'm going to hurt the girl which pinned me. Then, Elesis, and other Grand Chase member help us to get up. Then, I notice both girls which just fall on top of me and Bale. The girl which pinned Bale have Asian face, tan skin, shoulder-long hair, and wear stripped color clothes, and blue jeans. The other girl which pinned me have same Asian face but little bit younger, much longer hair, wearing red glasses, white clothes, and black medium pants.
"Wait a minute, is that Alina and Menie..?" Say Bale, I notice both of them are fainted right now… So, we decided to carry both of them to the Grand Chase mansion.
That noon…
I walk to my assigned room which is beside Bale and far from the girls. Suddenly, a voice come to my head which is familiar.
"Adeas, can you hear me..?" Even though I always hear that voice but I still surprised.
"Raze… how you be able to communicate with me..? I thought I…" Before I finish my sentence, Raze, that voice interrupted.
"Adeas, I need you to enter your room as soon as possible..!"
"Alright then…" I enter the room to see that my room is very simple and not too much stuff. Then, I closed the door and ask Raze.
"What is it Raze..?"
"I need you to let me possess your body" I of course let him because he is kind like a friend when I'm alone in my house so I just let him to possess me without struggling. After he possess my body, I feel I have a mark in my face, changes in my hair color and 2 chains wrap in both of my arms.
"So… tell me what we are going to do..?" I ask to him.
"Just follow me… but before that, I need to send some chains to scout around here." Raze said while using the chain which wrapped in my right arm. That chain multiply into many time and spread out. Then, Raze chanted a spell.
"Shadow, my friend, you cover me from the sight of my enemy, now I ask you to cover me once more… Shadow Cover..!" Raze turned my body into invisible and he move my body into the door.
He slowly open the door without voice and look around as if checking if there is someone nearby. Then, he move slowly and he seem notice 2 girls go outside of their room and I know it because we share his vision. Even though he know that he is invisible, but he stay out from those girls who just went outside of their room. With that, I presume one of them is Arme because she is a mage and even we are invisible, we still be founded by her if she can notice the different mana around. Then, Raze go outside from window which is crazy for me because we are in second floor but he used the chain to tied himself with the window and let him go down slowly.
When we arrive at the ground, Raze dash into north east like mad which cause me curious about his intention.
"Raze, what are you planning..?" Raze slow down and reply me.
"We need you to get something in Kerrie Beach…"
"What is it..?"
"It's called elemental orb. You need it because I notice you somewhat resonance with elements which are fire, ice, and lighting…"
"But I only know that I kind related with fire but I don't know if I have any relation with other two…" Raze sigh and he explained.
"I know you are related with fire because you like fire, the one which is not too aggressive but not too passive but the reason for those two are because you can be aggressive as lighting and sometimes you are passive as ice which give you also the lighting and ice." I understand what he means but I have a question.
"Well, I know that I have the basic knowledge how to use fire from the weird but maybe true magic tome from the library but I don't know about other…" Raze slap his face and explain the dumb me…
"That is why I will give elemental orb which give you basic of those three and that book is real but you cannot use the magic because the world you are doesn't have enough mana even for one normal spell…" Well… that's explained much…
An hour later, we arrive at the Kerrie Beach and I in control of my body again.
"Why you return my body again..?" I ask to Raze which is sounds tired.
"Possessing someone is tiring you know… so I will get some rest and call me if you get in trouble…" I nodded and proceed into the beach.
There is nothing here… except some crab which hit me few times, some slime tackle me from behind but didn't do much damage, but there is one thing wrong…
"Raze, I though there are suppose many harpies here…" Raze only respond with snore… which irritated me. Then, some feathers flying from the sky trying to pierce me but I just dodge it. I look at the sky to see a large swarm of harpies…
"Umm… Raze… I think we are in a little trouble…" Then Raze directly possess my body and fired of the chain from his hands which multiply and impale large number of harpies but not until half of all of it.
"Sigh… This is so easy…" and he return my body again… Then I screamed.
"Damned you Raze..! You only kill some of it..!" Then, all of those harpies charge at me. I barely dodge most of it but some manage scratch me and do small damage of it. I tried to attack those harpies but you know that I can't reach them because they are flying… So Raze take over me again and chanted a spell.
"Chain of the abyss, bind all of my enemies to the ground, drag their souls from the corporeal plane into the ethereal plane, Chain of Despair..!" All of the harpies chained to the ground and leave themselves open so I killed some of them with my Flaming Talon Strike… and I notice their souls dragged into the ground and turn their body into ground they touch.
"May you rest in peace" I sheath my sword and then a huge harpy appear before me, sending a wave of sharp feathers which slash me. I once again readied my sword in fighting stance. I notice a rainbow orb near me.
"Adeas, grab that orb fast..!" I run to the orb but that harpy shoot another barrage of sharp feather which make me kind hard to get it. I turn at the harpy which try to grab me. I side step and jump to the back of the harpy. I stab it few times with my sword but that harpy throw me from her back into the ground which is hurt because she already flying. I think for a while how to get that orb and how to defeat that harpy because she always shoot a barrage of feather at me if I too near the orb and she is flying so I can't attack it. Then, Raze take over my body and his expression shows that he have a plan.
At the same time (Bale POV)
I can't sleep for a while because what happen today… then suddenly, I have an urge to talk with Adeas about that so I go to Adeas room and knock his door.
"Hello Adeas..?" There is no response…
"Hello..?" And there is no response again which cause me suspicious because he always answer right away.
"Adeas, I'm coming..!" I say and open the door to notice that he isn't in the room. I directly panic from what I saw and run to the other's room. The first room I come Elesis room. I knocked very hard which replied.
"I don't want to be disturbed so go away..!" But I ignore it and say to her by screaming.
"Elesis..! Adeas is missing from his room..!" She opened the door with lazy eyes, then she say.
"Perhaps he is outside… so go away before I knock you into your own room..!" She then slam her door. So I decided to ask the other.
"Lire..! Help me..! Adeas is missing..!" I screamed… but there is no response from her so I decided to go Arme room. When I go there, I notice her room isn't closed which I consider that she is outside… So I come back to Elesis room to tell her what I saw…
"What..?! Lire and Arme are missing too..? Ok then, let find those girls and Adeas..!" I nodded and went outside.
At Kerrie Beach (Lire POV)
I and Arme followed the guy who looks like Adeas but his hair is white, a mark in his face make him like he just crying with blood, and he wear a black jacket; I notice something is fishy about him because he sometimes use a sword which looks like Adeas's sword but he also able to summon chains to his hands. I watch as that guy shoot his chain to the harpy queen but missed its mark. Then, the harpy queen shot some feather but that guy block it by creating shield from his chains.
'That guy is good..!' I saw that guy chanted a spell then suddenly, many portals appear surrounding the harpy queen and then, many chains shoot from those portals and ensnare that harpy, he throw his chains and drag that harpy queen to him. Then, he create a huge scythe from his chain and impale that harpy queen which causing her sprayed many blood around his body. He then, walk and grab something which looks like a rainbow orb from the ground.
"Lire, what should we do..? That guy have a dangerous mana surrounding him…" He doesn't seem to notice us. so I come out from my hiding and shoot an arrow to him but a chain appear from the ground and deflect my arrow.
"I was wondering when you are going to jump from your hiding… but I guess I no need to do that…" He say and face both of us.
"Who are you..? What are you going to do with Adeas..? Why you suddenly take him from his room..?" He just give us an emotionless face and then he create a weapon which looks like a shield which attached with sword in its front. He then jump to us with his weapon ready.
"Stone Curse..!" Arme cast curse which can cause him to be a stone but he use his shield block it and it doesn't stop him… I jump from my place to dodge his attack and fire some arrows. He suddenly disappear and all the arrows just hit the ground.
"Lire..! Above you..!" I look up to see he is going to impale me but I barely dodge his impale by sidestep.
"Big Shot..!" I shoot 5 arrows simultaneously which finally hit him but doesn't do much damage to him. He then spin and raise his sword.
"Valley of Swords..!" He then stab the ground which cause many swords appear from the ground and impale anything in its path which is Arme… I manage to pick Arme from her death and dodge the impaling swords. I put Arme in the safe place and I horrified with what I see. I saw all things which impaled by the swords was turned into stone include the trees which in its path. I'm glad that Arme doesn't get hit by those things. Then, I notice he breath pretty hard, which I notice that skill must take much of his power.
"Arme, I will distract that guy to use that skills and meanwhile, you charge for your strongest spell and unleash it when he finish using his skill. I hope it's enough to beat him" Arme nodded and run to safest place to charge her strongest spell… I run to him again and notice he have recovered his power. He then dash to me with his sword ready, I side step but he already predict it so he back step and aim his sword at me, then he dash and try to stab me which cause a scratch in my right arm. Then he turn to me again and deliver powerful slash which I try to back stab but still get scratched in my stomach. Then he raise his sword again as he ready to use his skill again.
"Chain of Dead..!" He summon many chain from the ground which almost catch me if I didn't react fast enough. Then, his sword-shield turn back into chain and he chanted something.
"By my command I invoke the very soul of death which have guided the dead into their rest… I'm Raze the Death, command you to rise from the death and obey to my command..! Grim Reaper..!" A huge ethereal hooded man wield a scythe appear behind him… He then summon a chained scythe in his hand. Then, he swipe the ground with his scythe which I dodge but I don't know that ethereal man follow his movement so I get knocked pretty far and crashed into a tree. I see that guy walk into me dangerously until…
"Electric Spark..!" Arme appear in front of me and summons an electrical storm which barrage him with lighting. After her skill finished, that guy disappear with his avatar.
"What the..? What just happen..?" I try to stand up but I fell down because exhaustion and Arme manage to catch me, then, Elesis and Bale appear…
"Lire, Arme..!" We look at them and notice both of them have equipped their equipment like they are ready to battle.
In the Grand Chase Mansion (Adeas POV)
We barely escape from that spell but he just in time to teleport both of us before the spell hit us. He teleport both of us into my room with me irritated with him.
"Raze, why are you attacking those two..?" I ask him with irritated tone. He just silence for a while and respond to my question.
"I just need to make sure that I can trust Grand Chase that is all my reason." But I can sense he is hiding something but I rather not ask that because I fear that question will cause something bad.
"Ok then, I let you pass this time, but don't attack them again except if we don't have any choice." He seems relieve and he return my body. Then, the sun rise to the sky which means I have stayed all night and haven't slept at all. So I go to bed to get some sleep.
"But, at least, I can awaken your elemental power…" Raze say as I turned back into my real form but I just ignore it because I'm too tired.
At the same time (TPV)
A big shadow, watching the battle scene in the Kerrie beach between Lire and Arme versus Raze, then, the shadow laugh.
"Raze isn't it..? I hope we can meet each other directly and you become my servant..!" Then, that shadow disappears without trace.
Me: Creepy isn't it..?
Adeas: Can you explain why Raze is inside me..?
Me: You are based to me and it is true I sometimes dumb…
Raze: You mean always
Me and Adeas: Shut up Raze..!
Bale: Review…
Alina and Menie is based on the real authors
Raze is a soul which have died but you will notice some secret about him later but not soon…
Chain of despair, Raze summon many chains from the underworld which ensnare his enemies and take their souls to the underworld
Chain of dead, Raze summon a chain which shackle his enemy and drain their life force to the chain which make that chain into familiar if hit.
Grim reaper, Raze summon an avatar which resemble the grim reaper, the grim reaper have an aura which drain all life force from the undead and Raze will gain reaper scythe which allow him to one hit kill the undead. Also the avatar will move according to Raze movement.
Raze ability is able to turn his chains into weapon so he can use many weapons.
Valley of Sword, Raze used his sword to channel most of his power to the ground which cause many swords impale anything in his front from the ground.
Raze sword-shield have the ability that when he block an attack with an ailment, his next skill will cause that ailment from the attack that he block but only 1 ailment each skill.
To tell the truth, I think Raze skill is very broken but it is because he is considered as boss and he actually come from Aernas and he is experience in battle.
*Spoiler* Raze is actually more than 100 years old (Added his life time and dead time) but later on, there is the younger version of Raze but it is still long before we meet him.
Raze able to possess Adeas because he is a soul inside him and Adeas allow him to take control of his body.
I wonder if I should add the OCs from each author I add here… because I add the OCs in here based on the thing I know about the real authors… but I don't think I will add it in the next few chapters.

In the Next Episode
"The one who battle both of them was Raze isn't it..?" Everyone directly look at Bale except me.
"Yes… but I actually don't know why he wanted to battle both of them…" I say while look at the ground. Then suddenly, I feel Raze come out from my body and I see him in my back, with his chained wrapped in both of his arms.
