ADULT POV
Ron Weasley couldn't believe his eyes. One minute he's talking to Harry and Ginny about work at the ministry, and next thing he know he's seeing a splash of red racing down the aisle towards the Gryffindor table. And when he had turned his head to see which one of his nieces or nephews were late to the opening ceremony. He was surprised to see a set of familiar looking triplets coming in with the school from America.
As he continued to watch he noticed how much they reminded him of well himself. He also noticed when the girl triplet caught the eyes of his student family members and quickly notified her brothers. They all seemed to be worrying and Ron couldn't help but feel like he should be checking on them and comforting them.
"Ron,? Ron are you even listeni…." Ron forced himself to turn away from the triplets to turn and answer his friend but hearing Harry's words suddenly stop he knew that Harry had caught sight of the triplets.
"What the bloody hell are you two looking at….," Ginny Potter said before turning herself to see what caused her brother and husband to stop talking. "Oh my God," she gasped as she caught sight of the kids. Quickly turning to talk to her husband about the mysterious red heads Ginny could tell they were thinking the same thing Hermione.
Ron ignored his sister and brother in-laws voices as he once again turned back to look at the triplets and seeing them still talking to one another other. When all of a sudden the girl triplet looked right up at him.
Ron thought his heart was going to stop and explode when he saw her face that reminded him of someone he had tried to forget about the last sixteen years. He couldn't help but feel a huge wave of guilt when the name came to him. "Hermione," he thought. He shook the idea out of his mind. "It was impossible right?"
There was no denying the two looked alike the girl had Hermione's face her ears even the long curly hair except the girls fell into long angelic ringlets and suffered none of the bushiness that Hermione had had. And while Hermione's hair had been a beautiful honey brown this little girl had the same bright red hair as his family. Looking at her more carefully she could have been Hermione twin with the same button nose he had always adored and the eyes … the eyes is what he thought made her look most like Hermione. Instead of the warm brown the little girl eyes were blue the exact same shade as most of his family members. Looking into the little girls eyes he could see the same curiosity Hermione's had held.
Ron quickly realized how long he had been staring up at the child when he say her shoot him a horrendous glare "just like Hermione."
Madison POV\
Madison couldn't believe her eyes she was actually looking face to face of her mysterious father. Suddenly everything she had ever known was poured back into her mind "this is the man who left mom who hurt her so bad that even a mention of him seemed to shut her down completely," she thought.
"Oww," she was withdrawn from her thoughts when she felt Cameron jab her side hard. Seeing that Ron was still staring at her she shot him her infamous drop dead or else glare and turned to face her brothers. "What the hell was that for?" she half whispered half screamed at them. "We've been trying to get your damn attention for like five minutes what the hell were you staring at?" Cameron asked her.
She titled her head a bit back towards the head table where the three noticed half of the staff trying hard not to full out stare at them and they could see their father nearly fall out of his seat when he saw all their faces.
"Okay so I guess laying low now you know what this means don't you," Liam asked his brother and sister. Madison and Cameron both started to nod their heads till Cameron quickly switched to shaking his head no and looking confused. WHACK! Cameron rubbed the spot on the back of his head where his sister just slapped him.
Before he could do anything Liam came between them again. "It means we have to be extra careful agreed?" Cameron and Madison simultaneously looked at each other before nodding and saying, "agreed."
Madison looked back to where her father sat and saw him talking to who she knew to be her aunt and uncle, and by the way they were talking she just knew it had to be about them
"Right," she thought to herself, "how hard can it be."
