Chapter 4.

I tried getting into Lissa's head so that I could see if she was here already, but she's blocking me. That's not a good sign. I told Cal I was going to find her, and that if I wasn't back before the show started, do a few songs with Nicola first.

It took me ages, but I finally found her. I almost fainted when I saw who was with her. He was here. Why did he come? No wonder she was blocking me. Lissa turned around when she heard me calling her and guilt was written all over her face.

I'm so sorry Rose, he demanded to come. He couldn't understand why we wouldn't let him come. Because the guys don't know it's you, I had no choice. I'm so sorry.

'Hi Marie, how are you?' asked Lissa, giving me a big hug at the same time.

'Hi Liss, it's so great to see you again. Thank you so much for coming' i said hugging her back. Then I whispered 'its ok Liss, I knew it was only a matter of time before he demanded to come. Hey, I need to talk to you after the show ok. It's important'

'No worries Marie. Hey you remember Christian, Adrian, Eddie, Alberta and Janine don't you? And this is my other guardian, Guardian Belikov, who I'm sure you have seen me with when you come to court' lissa said

I held out my hand to Dimitri 'It's a pleasure to meet you officially, I've heard all about you' i said.

He hesitantly shook my hand, eyeing me very carefully, like he was confused or something. Surely he didn't recognise me...did he?

'It's ah...a pleasure meeting you...ah, Marie was it? How did you and the Princess come to meet each other' he stammered.

'I met her when she came to see the band a while back. We've kept in touch since then' i replied. He kept on staring at me the whole time.

'Oh ok, I just never knew. Sorry. I don't normally accompany the Princess to concerts. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about' he said

'No problems Comrade, enjoy the show' i replied. It wasn't until he froze that I realised what I said. SHIT. Why did I have to say that? Looks like he wasn't the only one who noticed because all of them turned to look at me at the same time. Thankfully, Lissa came to the rescue.

'Marie, the show is starting in about two minutes, don't you think you better get up there with the band?' Lissa asked.

'What? Oh right, yeah the band, I better go. See you afterwards?' I stammered and handed her the backstage passes. I quickly retreated before anybody could say anything else and made my way on stage.

'Marie, what's wrong, you look like you've seen a ghost' cried Caleb. He ran over to me and shook my shoulders when I didn't reply straight away.

'He's here. Dimitri is here Cal, and I stuffed up in the worst possible way. I called him Comrade. It used to be a nickname I called him all the time. And before I even said that, he was looking at me like he knew me, but couldn't figure out how. What am I going to do?' i was nearly crying now, but I was afraid that once I started, I wouldn't be able to stop.

'You are going to get up on that stage and blow this audience away like you do at every show. Throw your fear and energy into your performance, and we'll talk afterwards ok. But you need to get out there, otherwise you will sit here thinking about it and you will snap. Occupy your mind until you can talk to Lissa ok' Caleb reasoned with me. He gave me a quick hug before walking out onto the stage. I was just about to walk on stage when I was sucked into Lissa's head once again.

Chapter 5.

Oh shit, Rose just called Dimitri comrade. He instantly froze, and I could tell straight away that he knew it was her. How the hell am I going to get out of this one.

'Princess, is there something you need to tell us' he asked.

'What are you talking about Guardian Belikov?' I asked.

'Marie...who is she really? And DONT lie to me' he yelled.

Christian came up and wrapped his arm protectively around my waist. Dimitri looked like he was ready to burst at any moment.

'Guardian Belikov, she is who I said she is. Her name is Marie Mazur and she is the lead singer of the Night Owls' i replied. All true, her name IS Marie Mazur, that's the abbreviation anyway.

'Then why the hell did she call me Comrade?' his voice wasn't getting any lower. He was on the verge of hysteria. Surely he hasn't remembered his feelings for her.

'I don't know, why don't you ask her yourself after the show' i replied.

'I want answers Princess, and I want them now. Is that girl RoseMARIE Hathaway?' he yelled.

'Dimitri, you need to come outside so we can talk about this and you can calm down. You're causing a scene' Alberta said. I almost forgot she was there, and everyone else. They were all looking at me expectantly.

'It is her isn't it. Oh my god. Princess, she RAN away from you. From the Academy. How can you forgive her for that and sneak around seeing her. Did anyone else know who she really was? Was I the only idiot here? Is this why I was always sent to other places when you came to these concerts? What is going on Princess' cried Dimitri.

It was then that I received a text message from Rose

Liss, I got sucked in. I heard everything he said. It's ok to tell them.. That's why I wanted to talk to you after the show. To tell you I wanted to come back. I wanted them to know the reasons behind me leaving, to know I didn't abandon you or any of them. And I didn't choose Dimitri over you. I want YOU to know I never abandoned you and I'm sorry if I made you feel that way over time. I love you Liss. I'll meet you outside. Nicola will open the show.

I started getting teary when I read this.

'Come on guys, there are some things I need to explain' i said. Everyone followed me out of the arena.

'Ok, first up, Dimitri is right. Marie IS Rose' i didn't get far because Dimitri was trying to cut me off. 'Before you say anything, let me explain from the very beginning. Everything that has happened in the last 3 years has been out of her control and she has kept every one of us in her best interest'

'In her best interest, yeah right' snickered Dimitri

'Would you just shut the hell up and let Lissa talk' yelled Christian.

'Thanks Babe. Dimitri, there are things you need to know that will have a huge impact on your life and what I am about to tell you. This goes for all of you. I have been keeping a secret for three years from each and every one of you, and I'm sorry. If we could go back in time and change things, then we would, but it was out of our control' I said

'Sorry for doubting you Princess, but I can't see how anything could have made your best friend and guardian to be, just up and leave you at such a bad time' said Dimitri.

'Just shut up already. You wanted an explanation, I'm trying to give you one' I yelled.
