Bonnie felt a weird feeling of like everything was going to be okay after she talked to Shane the night of the Christmas party... But it seemed like things were getting bad also.

During the Christmas break he helped in the kitchen at Midnight Special and often took up taking orders when she wasn't taking Padme for walks and watching marathons of biblical movies with Padme resting on her frozen legs that were under two blankets.

Even though Bray came into work everyday and did his job, people started to notice how distant he was becoming with Dean. Some knew his story of how they met and how long he's been friends with the Ambrose family, so what was going on between them to make them become distant between each other? They always used to eat lunch together and talk about random stuff but now instead Bray left to go get something to eat. Instead of helping them close the restaurant, he would clock out when his shift was over, not even saying goodbye unless it was to Bonnie. He wouldn't come over and visit, he didn't call... And Dean didn't seem to notice. He was being sneaky - He would leave without telling anyone where he was going, coming back hours later. No one said anything but they weren't sure what was going on, he couldn't be shopping or he would come back with shopping bags or they would be in the house; There was only one theory left... Was he seeing someone?

The only two nights in all of the nine months it has been open, Midnight Special was closed for Christmas Eve and Christmas. Dean had been sleeping in when Bonnie, who had been awake since 5 AM, took Padme for a walk in the early morning so they didn't get stuck in the upcoming snow storm. Padme seemed hyper and tried to run every chance she got, but Bonnie tried to hold her back from running away. When they got to an empty park that was small with free space she let Padme run around while she looked for a bench or a picnic table to sit at when she noticed Bray sitting at a picnic table with a phone up to his ear. She walked over to him to see he was wearing a beanie and a sweater. As she got closer to him she heard him talking to someone about meeting up but agreed to talk later when Bray saw Bonnie walking up to him, hanging up and putting his phone up.

"There's the other part of my crew! What have you been up to?" Bray exclaims.

Bonnie sat down at the picnic table sitting across from Bray. "Nothing really. Why don't you talk to daddy anymore? Why don't you come around? I miss you. Did you forget that we had that card game feud we had going with Antonio and Roman? I had to back out which automatically gave them the win!" She tells him. She hated when she lost in card games.

Bray laughs, looking down and began playing with his phone, looking up to Bonnie. How did he exactly tell her what he was going to tell her? It was kind of hard for her to know.

"I'm in love, Bonnie." Bray admits, his voice soft. Her eyes widen and she is taken aback. Bray was in love? This only happened one other time that she knew of back when he was still in Florida, he was in love with someone and he talked about marrying the person. Of course she was happy for him, but why didn't he tell her sooner? They told each other everything. "And no, I hadn't forgotten about that card game. I haven't been coming around no more is because of your fatha', he had a 'meeting' with someone that night of your youth group party, you know? I called and someone said they were in a meeting and Dean told me he thought it was nine when he needed to pick you up but I told him you called me, but he didn't believe me. He got pretty smart and I decided not to come around if he was going to get that smart, so I stopped."

"But he said he was asleep and didn't get your phone call." Bonnie denies.

Bray shrugged his shoulders when Padme comes running up to them, jumping on the bench and then the table, lying down. Bonnie and Bray pet her, who sighed and Bonnie let out a laugh.

"I bet it is tiring running around, isn't it girly?" Bonnie asks Padme. She turns to Bray, "Please, even if you aren't in a good place with daddy, please don't stop coming around. Don't forget you are my friend too. Heck, I helped you with your clothing decisions! Well, not today's but I used to! Remember?"

"I do and I miss that. I'll promise you this - I'll come around and play cards with you tomorrow, deal?" He replies and poked her nose.

"Hey Bray?" Bonnie speaks in a high voice, coughing, "Would you like to take me to a Christmas Eve church service tonight?"

It was the first time Dean had actually been in Seth's house actually. The house was probably double the size of Dean's house and living room was designed better than his whole house was. When they got into Seth's bedroom, Dean noticed it was just a normal bedroom with dark blue walls, a drawer and a bed with a nightstand. The curtains were opened to see the snow that had fallen earlier that day and now was on the ground and on Seth's car.

While Seth was cleaning himself up in the bathroom Dean covered himself up with the sheets on the bed and looked around the bedroom to see photos of Seth with Jake and Nikki, a wooden cross over top of his bed and he suddenly felt a rush of guilt go through him.

Seth returned fully dressed in a pair of jeans and an old worn out t-shirt and Dean let out a laugh; All the times they've been together, he's only seen him in a suit or nothing. He liked this laid back, jeans and a tee kind of guy.

"I'm sorry, I don't mean to laugh and everything but I've never seen you in just jeans and a tee... I like it." Dean asks. He sits down at the edge of the bed and points at the cross behind him, "So.. I know since you are pretty religious, what we are doing... Is it wrong in the peoples eyes that go to church with you and your pastor? Is it wrong in the eyes of God?"

Seth shrugged his shoulders, walking closer to Dean and stopped when he was standing in front of him. He pushed some of his shaggy hair out of his eyes and ran his hand tracing his jawline.

"I am indeed pretty religious and the church that me and Jake go to are filled with good people, as you know because you've met some parents at the Youth Group before." Seth confirms, "Some of them there do not believe in people being gay, but others accept it. Our pastor said before that he doesn't exactly agree with the lifestyle, but he wouldn't treat someone who was gay differently... And yeah, some would say that it's wrong in the eyes of God but I personally think that God doesn't care about those kind of things. I mean, I personally don't want to imagine that He wouldn't accept people who loved the same sex, it would be too hard to think about that, so I choose to imagine that He loves everyone, no matter what." Sighing, he came up with an idea. "How about this - How about you come to the Christmas Eve service with me and Jake? Or the one after where he talks about New Years?"

Seth saw Dean hesitate and almost shake his head. He stood up and started putting on his jeans, Dean grabbing his shirt and looking at Seth. "I'm not sure, Seth.. I haven't had the best history with churches." Dean explains.

"Why? You can wear whatever you want and they aren't like other churches. They accept everyone." Seth argued.

"Because Seth! Even though they may accept everyone, I don't want someone to find out that I'm gay and the person who pretends to accept turn their back and make fun of me tomorrow." Dean yelled. "And don't tell me that they aren't going to do that because I've been down that road before, why do you think that I haven't told many people that I'm gay? Hell, my daughter doesn't even know yet!"

"Neither does Jake, but he's going to find out soon.. But can I say the same for Bonnie? You say that you love her and you want the best for her but you've lied to her this year - You moved her away from the only home she's ever known and forgot to pick her up at a Youth Group party." Seth brought it up.

Dean scoffed, nodding his head. Did Seth really have to go and say all that? "I lied to her for good reasoning and you know that. It isn't everyday that your mother threatens your fathers life in front of you. Or in her case, yeah it was. I'd rather her think that Paige knows that we left so she could get closure because even though we've been in Media for the past fucking nine months, Paige still scared my daughter and she couldn't sleep for a week. I had to come up with something so she didn't feel frightened - Paige not knowing where we are is good, because then she can't look for us." Dean explains, "And yeah, I didn't pick her up at the Youth Group party at eight thirty like usual but guess what? I didn't see you complaining when I was sucking your dick."

"Oh, that - That one was a good one." Seth laughs and put his hand on his stomach, throwing his head back, lifting his head and continued to smile at Dean. "So does anyone else know you are gay?"

"Only Antonio does, and well, Daniel does. And so do my parents, but that is a different story." Dean mutters. He put the shirt on, going into his pocket and getting out his keys, "I'm going to leave."

Dean thought Bonnie was having a sleepover at a friend from school and Bonnie thought Dean was having a meeting with Antonio but instead Dean put on the best sweater he could find with a pair of his best sweatpants and left before Bonnie, who had put on her best white dress that went down to her knees and was sleeveless that she wore to court one time during her parents custody battle, and she put on a pair of grey leggings. She put on her coat but left it unbutton, meeting Bray, who was wearing a suit, at the front door and saw him petting Padme.

"Ready?" She asks.

They left for the church that was close to her house, Bray parking near the courthouse and they walked down to the small building and saw the place almost packed full of people. Walking into the sanctuary three greeters handed both of them a candle, Bray and Bonnie sitting down closest to the stage. Christmas music was playing but they could barely hear it because everyone was talking, Bonnie taking off her coat when they sat down.

"It's very nice here." Bray says.

Bonnie nodded her head in agreement, excusing herself and went out to the greeting room to get a cup of water, waiting in line and she looked to her left to see Shane talking to Jake. They shook hands and then Shane walked over to where Bonnie was standing in line for some water, waving to her, she waved back to him.

"Merry Christmas Eve." Shane says to her.

"Merry Christmas Eve," Bonnie replies. He was wearing a pair of nice pants and a sweater, "You look nice."

"You look better." Hearing that Bonnie's cheeks instantly went red and she shook her head, no one ever said that to her.

Bonnie got closer to the counter, grabbing a cup and went over to make herself some coffee, covering it with a lid and walked back into the sanctuary. She found Bray talking to someone who was older and had the same type of beard as him, the man laughing at something Bray said. She looked around to see people talking and taking their seats, people setting up the camera and setting up the music. She sighed as she began walking up to the row she and Bray were sitting in when she stopped at row in the middle when she saw a familiar face sitting with Jake.

Standing there, Bonnie tapped the man on the shoulder and he looked over his shoulder to see her, surprised to see her here. Wasn't she supposed to be at a sleep over?

"Bonnie? What are you doing here?" Dean asks.

"I can ask the same for you, dad. You said you were going out with Antonio!" She says.

"And you said you were going to a sleep over with a friend." Dean replied.

This was true. But what Bonnie said was also true, they both lied to go to Christmas Eve service. "Yeah but dad, no offense, but I never thought you were religious."

Dean nodded his head, "Your grandparents are and I was when I was little, but I got away from it... What's wrong with wanting to go to a Christmas Eve service?"

"Nothing, but - "

"I'm sorry for lying to you." Dean apologizes. He'd been lying to Bonnie more than he'd ever imagine he would...

During the Christmas Eve service the lights were turned down while they held a candle in the air as the Pastors spoke words about the meaning of Christmas. It was beautiful to have been part of, Bonnie thought. Although she was afraid of lighting the candle, she held it fine and made Bray blow out the candle, giving them back to the woman collecting them at the end in the greeting room. While waiting for Bray to finish talking to the man he had been talking to before the service, Bonnie sat down behind two couples who were talking, leaning towards the right to see if she could see her father, and she did... Kissing Jake's father, Seth Rollins.

"What. The. Hell?" Bonnie muttered under her breath.

She scanned the greeting room to see where Bray was and she found him staring at Dean with what looked like he was about to drop his cup of water. Bonnie looked back over to where Seth and Dean were now holding hands and walking out of the church with Jake running to catch up to them, waving to Nathan as he left. Did she see what she just saw? Her father kissing Jake's father?

Bray taps Bonnie's shoulder, "Ready to go? I know you might be upset right now." He says to her.

They hugged when Bray dropped her off and watched her get in safely before driving off, Bonnie locking the door and throwing her coat onto the couch. She took the shoes that had been hurting her feet off and put them in a basket for the shoes in the living room, walking into the kitchen, going into the fridge and grabbed a can of soda. Bonnie opened it, walking upstairs, by Dean's bedroom and she stopped when she saw a family portrait of her, Paige and Dean when she was only a year old. She took it off the wall, staring at it - Both parents were smiling and in their best outfits, never seeing Paige wear that dress after the portrait, or so Dean always said. Paige was holding her and Dean was holding Bonnie's small, little hand.

As she stood there with the portrait in her hands longer, she started wonder if everything she'd grown up, believing that her parents did at once love each other.. Was that all a lie? Was it just an act they put on for Bonnie and everyone around them? She put the portrait back up on the wall, walking over to her bedroom, opening the door when she heard a door open. Turning around she saw Dean in a pair of sweatpants standing in his doorway.

"Hey, sweetie. How did you like the service?" Dean asked.

"It was beautiful," Bonnie says, "Merry Christmas, liar." She says before slamming the door shut.
