Author's Note
Okay, it's been three years since I last updated and I want to apologize for making you guys wait so long. The truth is, I sort of forgot I had this account and it doesn't help that I've become pretty lazy when it comes to writing stories.
I started writing chapter 3 in early 2014 but stopped halfway through due to my job, shelved the story, and forgot about it. I slowly started up again during 2016 but a lot of it happened during this year.
My grandmother passed away in April and we had to cleaned up her place to sell it. Sold some of her stuff(except for photo's and family heirlooms), fixed it up, and managed to sell it. Just waiting for a closing deal.
I broke my pinkie finger on my left hand in June. I was carrying my new desktop PC to make it inside the garage to avoid heavy rain downpour when I slipped and I fell. While I was falling, I was holding my desktop and fell on to the side with my hand underneath it. My pinkie took the brunt of it and it was bruised, it went numb. I went to the doctor's the next day(it happened last night at 9 so I had to wait till then)to get an X-ray and I broken the bone by twisting it in half. It was not a pretty site. Thirty-two years and I never broken a bone till now. I had to get surgery to put three pins inside my hand and wear a cast for six weeks. I couldn't work so I had to work at home instead. It doesn't help that I can't type since I'm limited to do two typing. Of course, I could have finished writing the chapter since I'm right handed(my broken pinkie is on my left hand) but even if I did, I need to type it out to send it to my beta reader and typing with two fingers would take too long and drives me crazy. My pinkie is healed although it's still bent a little as it'll never be a same again but at least I can bend it forward again.
I was also going through personal issues that I rather not discuss here but one of them is that I was having a relationship troubles with my former boyfriend. It wasn't working out which I was disappointed and finally broke up with him in early November. I felt much better and happier when I'm no longer with him and better off being friends instead of being boyfriend/girlfriend.
And now I got busy because of holiday season so that means my job gets busy at this time of the year. We were finally able to visit my our other family members from out of state on Thanksgiving and Christmas so during the long road trip for Thanksgiving, I was able to get 75% of chapter 3 done(I would have finished it but sadly, writing on long car trips tend to give me a headaches and I don't want to get carsick).
Good news is that I finally got my chapter 3 done and just started chapter 4. All I need to do is type it up, send it to my beta reader(if they're not too busy), sends it back to me, and upload it.
So there's my first Author's note. My story was just on hiatus and I am sorry for making you readers wait forever for my next chapter. I don't like leaving my things unfinished so I try my best to get it done. Being an adult can suck sometimes but it is what it is.
