A/N: Sorry for not updating sooner, I had a lot of things to worry about(Books to write reports about, Tests and quizzes to study for…). So, here's the long awaited fourth chapter! Hopefully I'll get to updating more frequently. Enjoy!
Chapter 4: The Big Panini Press
Quote and Curly looked up in horror at the big Press, it's red glowing eye looking at them with a mischievous glint in its eye. The two heroes walked to the center of the room. Just then, the press opened a hatch in it's middle and blasted a white-hot laser down. They dodged in the nick of time. Suddenly, Brutes streamed out of two holes on both sides of the fighting stage. Curly screamed, but Quote stayed calm and shot at the hatch, which had opened again. When he did, a part of the casing holding up the press came away. Quote smiled successfully. He and Curly zoomed back and forth, dodging and shooting the Brutes, all the time firing at the hatch. When the last part of the casing remained, Quote thought,
"If I destroy the casing surrounding it, won't it destroy the stage? Well, there's no other way then down, so why not?"
They shot at the press, and then heard a sickening crack. The press fell down, making a large hole in the middle of the stage. Quote and Curly zoomed out of the way, and shot at the last remaining Brutes. When every monster was gone, they both breathed a sigh of relief.
"That was close," Curly remarked. Quote nodded. Then they jumped down the hole, wondering what would happen next.
