Like promised, there are two chapters today. Hmmm... Sorry that this is a shorter chapter :p
Well Happy Holidays. :D
Disclaimer: I do not own KHR.
Beware: this is yaoi, boy x boy. And it was cursing, sggestive themes, violence later on...ect. Kind of AU; it's set when Giotto was the Vongola boss and where Tsuna and his guardians (and the arcobaleno) exist.
"You're wrong!"
Tsuna winced. He never thought that Giotto would raise his voice at him. He had also thought that that Giotto wold never hurt like he was wrong in both of them.
"You are wrong, Tsuna! Giotto yelled , still hurting his own head as if he was in pain. "This is not a Nightmare. This is reality. This is our reality."
Giotto stared at Tsuna with a blank face. When Tsuna first came out of the shower, he had so many things to tell him. But now he had nothing. Even if his brain could come up with something, he refused to say it. Right now, there was only silence between them. Giotto didn't know what was happening but he didn't try to figure it out. This was just something that a part of him did not want to know the answer to.
Tsuna's eyes were wide open, they have been for a while. His mouth was wide open, in shock. He was paler than usual, paler than normal. Tsuna's eyebrows were lift up and the tip of his eyebrows tilted slightly downwards putting wrinkles on his face. It seemed as if every part of his face was sunken in, as if he had just heard news of death. Body shaking, he took steps backwards until he reached the wall. The most eerie sight of all, though, was his constant stare at Giotto. Those eyes pierced through everything that man was, tearing him down into little pieces of nothing. And those eyess... They weren't his little brother's eyes. They were a different color.
Giotto didn't do nothing to help his younger brother. He did try to communicate with him; he couldn't. Tsuna screamed a loud, deathly yelp for help whenever Giotto tried to soothe his worries. Nothing was making any sense at all! He couldn't walk close to his brother, he couldn't speak to him, and he couldn't dimmer his brother's fear without, in some way or another, make it worse than it was before!
And hell, he wasn't even sure if this was his brother!
So he just stood there in silence. He didn't move, he didn't blink, he didn't breathe. Not until Tsuna was okay again. Or, in this case, until he was passed out. It seemed like he didn't have to wait very long; Tsuna was worn out. From what, exactly? From the tricks his mind had played on him.
Tsuna's mind had always loved to play tricks on him, showing him things that were not there, that were not really happening. Giotto had known, from his sixth sense, that Tsuna was broken. After he took him in, he did everything in his power to make his little brother happy...
But he could never fully make him happy; he could never get rid of his darkness - of this.
As Giotto lifted Tsuna princess style someone opened the door to the room. Giotto didn't even bother to look to see who it was; he already knew. It was G.
"I told you this would continue." G softly said as he walked in.
"...It's getting worse as the years go by. At first, it was nightmares he couldn't remember. And then, it was distorted memories. Then panic attacks, then strange fears, then... This."
"..."
"God damnit! Why can't I fucking help him? Does he not trust me?"
"Boss."
Giotto set Tsuna down gently on the bed then turned around to G, waiting for him to go about whatever he was going to say.
"Let him go."
"... Not this again." Giotto sighed. He already had this conversation earlier. "I will not abandon my little brother."
"He is not your brother, you know that." G stated calmly.
"But we are... related. If not by blood then by bonds."
G sighed, knowing that he would not win this argument. But before he left the room, he said quickly, "Do what you think is right. Don't do what your desires tell you to. Because if you do, he will break into smaller pieces... Think about that tonight."
When G left, a pout appeared on Giotto's face. What is going on with you? He stared at the passed out Tsuna, eyes full of concern. What kind of nightmare are you trapped in this time?Giotto sighed then let his eyes wander on the younger male's body. The older man laughed, thinking that he isn't controled by his desires. No, not... at... all.
Giotto put a hand on Tsuna's cheek then kissed him lightly. He pulled away from the kid and then with one more look at Tsuna's body, he left the room. It was better this way; right now, Tsuna didn't need him there... What Tsuna needed was peace. Peace in his mind. With conviction, Giotto left his home for the night in hopes of finding a certain arcobalen-
Reborn.
Reborn could teach Tsuna what peace of mind was; that hitman is an excellent tutor, or so he had heard from the word of the mouth... It couldn't hurt, right? As the boss left, G watched with lost hope.
He just doesn't know when to let go... He just doesn't want to let go.
As all of this was happening, Tsuna's eyes twitched. He was having another internal dispute... But this time he din't mind it as much as the one earlier - he was finding answers in this one.
