Chapter four

The room remained silent until Kakashi stepped forward.

"It seems that we will have to end this meeting early"

Dumbledore nodded, he looked calm inside he was shocked at the power he felt released from the blonde haired boy.

"Yes indeed, I will have Sirius show you to your rooms. Children, I believe that's enough excitement for the day. If you could please retire to your rooms until dinner is ready."

Harry looked as if he wanted to protest, however, after seeing the stern look Dumbledore gave him he kept quiet. He led Hermione and the Weasley children out of the room and up the rickety stairs.

As soon as the children had left, Dumbledore turned to Sirius.

"If you'd please show these four to their bedroom, I'll clean up in hear." Dumbledore said taking out his wand.

Sirius waited for Sasuke to pick up Naruto before leading them out of the considerably cleaner lounge room. As soon as they had left Mrs. Weasley spoke up.

"Do you really think this is wise, Dumbledore? I mean there is something clearly wrong with that blonde haired boy. No boy that age should possess that amount of power."

Dumbledore turned to face Mrs. Weasley.

"There is something odd about that boy but so be it. They are the only hope we have if we wish to protect all the students and prevent a war."

Mrs. Weasley sighed. She knew Dumbledore was correct. They need to think about protecting the school and if the only way to do so is to trust these new people then she had better get used to it.

"Alright, alright. I'll just go start the preparations for supper."

Arthur watched Molly leave the room still visually distressed about the situation. He rose from the armchair he was seating in.

"I'll go help her," He announced before exiting the room.

The remaining people in the room exchanged glances before they too excited separately. Too caught up on the events that previously occurred, they failed to see Sakura stealthily make her way back up the stairs and into one of their assigned rooms.

In the room Naruto lay on the bed with Sasuke and Kakashi gathered around him. Kakashi was performing multiple jutsus on the seal on Naruto's stomach. Kakashi looked displeased with how the seals were going while Sasuke seemed to be as emotionless as he normally does. However, if you were to look closely you could see a small amount on unease in his facial expression.

Sakura joined the other two ninja at the foot of Naruto's bed and reported beck to them what she had overhead from the wizards.

"Some of the wizards have become cautious about Naruto's power. Although they still seem to think that we are incapable of protecting the castle."

"It seems this mission may be harder than we initially thought. If they don't trust us they could easily get in our way." Kakashi replied, stepping back from Naruto's bed and turning to face Sakura.

"The only was this mission will be successful is if they let us do our job without interference. Sakura tomorrow I need you to befriend some of the wizards and convince them not to question Naruto about earlier."

"I'll try sensei," Sakura replied with a determined expression.

Kakashi walked back to the end of Naruto's bed. He examined the seal that remained on Naruto's stomach. Kakashi knew that the current seal needed to be fixed. He could see parts were beginning to weaken and he was sure that they would eventually break.

"Sasuke, I need you to send a summon to Tsunade and ask for all hers and Jiraiya's notes on the foxes seals"

Sasuke, who was reluctant to leave Naruto's side, nodded and left the room to send one of his faster snake summons.

As soon as Sasuke has left the room Sakura turned to Kaskashi and spoke.

"Ne sensei, what do you think happened between Naruto-kun and Sasuke-kun in the valley. Their relationship seems different."

When Naruto had returned to Konoha with Sasuke everyone had asked him how he'd managed to convince Sasuke to return. However, not once did Naruto or Sasuke tell the story to anyone. They told Tsunade enough to let Sasuke back into the village but they were the only two who knew what had happened.

"I have a feeling that we'll found out during this trip but be patient. They will tell us when they're ready" Kakashi replied as he pulled the blanket on the bed over Naruto.

Kakashi and Sakura then sat down on the old lounge that was placed in the center of the room. They took out multiple scrolls as well as a map of Hogwarts that Dumbledore gave to them and began to work out strategies to protect all the students in such a large space.

Moments later Sasuke returned. He glanced over at the ninja on the lounge before making his way back over to where Naruto lay.

After a couple more minutes, Naruto eyes fluttered open. Sasuke shuffled closer to the bed and was joined by Sakura and Kakashi.

"Dobe? How do you feel?" Sasuke questioned in a quiet, monotone voice."

"I feel like all my chakra's been drained." Naruto groaned in reply.

"The seal feels strange as well. It feels like Kurama isn't as close if that makes sense." Naruto added.

Kakashi was about to say something but was interrupted by a weak knock on the door. He got up and opened to door to reveal the small redhead girl. She fidgeted nervously before speaking.

"Mum wanted me to tell you that dinner is almost ready and if you're hungry to come down now."

"Okay we'll be down in a few moments." Kakashi replied.

The girl nodded before walking hastily away. The ninja took a few moments to prepare themselves before joining the wizards at the dinner table. Throughout the duration of dinner the wizards were nervously avoiding looking at Naruto, scared that he might lash out again.
