Author's Note: Finally, after 5 years… I decided to return and continue writing this again. Years passed by and there's so many new anime but nothing beats Gundam Seed because I just love Athrun and Cagalli pairing.
"I don't know why, but one thing for sure… You have to be mine."
Upon hearing this, Cagalli slowly stopped crying while Athrun continued to coax her, rubbing her back gently as she slowly recovered from her sudden panic attack. They stayed in that position for quite sometime, Cagalli trying to absorb whatever Athrun had said to her. The more she thinks about it, the more she felt confused. She looked up to look at his face and notice that Athrun was looking away with a red face from blushing so hard.
"Why… why Cagalli? We don't even know each other long enough" Cagalli managed a soft whisper through her hiccups.
"It's because I have always liked you… no, love you from the beginning," Athrun responded, his voice calm and composed.
"What do you mean?"
"I'm sure you don't remember it but we've gone a long way Cagalli," Athrun responded. He cupped her face with both his hands, giving her a short but tender peck on the lips. "And I don't think I can wait any longer…"
He continued his short kisses and slowly, it got more and more intense with every second. He started exploring her tongue while simultaneously kissing her cheeks and forehead; his hands slowly wrapped themselves around her waist. Cagalli had to pull away as it was getting too intense and both of them were running short of breaths.
"Stop it… Cagalli don't understand what you're trying to say! What do you mean by you can't wait any longer?" Cagalli demanded angrily. She was annoyed that he was so rude to her before and then all of a sudden, he started saying all these weird things that she couldn't understand.
"I'll wait till you get better okay baby? And then I will tell you everything that you need to know. For now, let's go home… You said you were tired," Athrun hugged her once more before dragging her into his car.
Cagalli followed suit silently as her mind was a buzz of so many things. Who is Athrun to her? Why is he acting in such a way? As much as she wanted answers to these questions, she felt a sudden surge of exhaustion overcome her.
When they finally reached Cagalli's apartment, she's fallen deep into her slumber. Athrun took a moment to admire her beautifully sculpted features – breaking into a small smile. "I love you so much… and I wish you knew. I wish you remembered…" Athrun whispered. He carried her bridal-style into her apartment and before he could even open the door, Kira opened the door with a black face.
"What took you guys so long huh?" Kira demanded.
"Kira? I thought you were hanging around with the rest? How did you return back so quickly?" Athrun asked, shock and confused, Cagalli still in his arms.
"Well…. Maybe because MY SISTER WAS SUDDENLY DRAGGED AWAY AND DID NOT RETURN HOME WHEN I CAME BACK AN HOUR AGO. It's been about 2 hours Athrun, it is not safe here!"
"I know, I get it but… Kira, I can't pretend anymore. You know how much I love her! You know it all too well! I can't go on pretending I don't know her… I can't go on pretending to be that evil guy when all I want to do is be with her!" Athrun shot back, tears were dangerously hanging at the edge of his eye.
"Athrun… if she ever finds out then she will hate all of us. If she ever finds out that we were at fault… she will never forgive us! Do you not understand that? Do you not understand that this will hurt you even more?" Kira answered, exasperation plastered on his face.
"Is there any other way, please? I'm begging you" Athrun pleaded. Tears started rolling as he clutch Cagalli even closer to him.
