Chapter 4 Their Past
With Mikan and her friends...
"Mikan-chan, are you alright?" Anna asked.
"Yeah I'm fine, so don't worry about me anymore." Mikan replied reassuringly.
"Man I hate that Luna. She is such a mean b*tch!" Sakura said.
"If Persona hadn't come, I don't know what I would've done to her." Tomoyo said.
"Yeah, she would've been dead." Hotaru said still furious.
"Guys, I'm fine now so don't worry about it. Let's just enjoy the rest of the day without thinking about her."Mikan said.
"She's right guys. Let's not let Luna ruin our day." Nonoko said agreeing with Mikan.
"So where do you guys want to spend the rest of your day?"Persona asked.
"To Central Town, please!"Everyone chorused.
"Then Central Town it is."Persona said.
"Thanks onii-chan."Mikan said while hugging Persona.
"I'll do anything for my baby sis."Persona said hugging her back.
And so Mikan and her friends went to Central Town.
"Bye guys, and be careful okay, especially you Mikan." Persona said.
"We'll take good care of her Persona, so don't worry."Tomoyo said.
"I'll be going back to the school now. I need to take care of some few things there." Persona said leaving the gang behind.
"Goodbye Persona-nii." Mikan said.
Back at class 2 B
Mikan's classmates couldn't believe at what they have just found out. Even our jocks couldn't believe it.
"Man, I can't believe that that nerd was Persona's little sister."Syaoran said.
"You got that right. Well I guess we can't really mess with the nerds now huh." Eriol said.
"Nah, I don't care even if those nerds have Persona by their side. That doesn't change the fact that they're still nerds."Syaoran said.
"But I still can't believe that Persona has a sister."Ruka said.
While our other jocks were busy talking with each other. Natsume was just quiet the whole time.
"Natsume, are you alright man? You've been very quiet for a while now."
"Nah, I'm alright just thinking about something."Natsume replied.
'I can't believe that that nerd is Persona's sister.' Natsume thought still trying to process what had just happened.
It didn't take a day before the whole school knew about the news.
Back with Mikan and her friends...
Mikan and her friends took off their disguises and changed into a more normal clothes before they went to Central Town.
"So what store should we visit first?"Anna asked.
"I want to go buy howalons first." Mikan excitedly said.
"Man Mikan, you still love those?" Sakura asked.
"Of course I do." Mikan replied.
"Okay, you go buy your howalons first and we'll wait for you there, under that tree." Hotaru said pointing at a tree near the bookstore.
And so Mikan went to buy her favourite treat while Hotaru and the others wait for her at the tree that Hotaru pointed at.
"Couldn't we just have gone with Mikan?" Nonoko asked.
"Yeah she's right Hotaru. Why are we here anyway?" Sakura asked.
"We need to talk about the match making plan we had." Hotaru plainly said.
"Oh yeah, I forgot about that." Tomoyo said.
"So what are we gonna do?" Yuu asked.
"Well we can't initiate it yet because of the fuss right now. We'll just have to find the right time to do it." Tomoyo replied.
"I'll just inform you guys when are going to do the operation. I need to make a plan for the match make operation. I don't want Mikan to experience what she had experienced in the past." Hotaru told them.
"What do you mean Hotaru-chan?" Nonoko asked wondering about what Hotaru just said.
"We'll tell you guys when we get back to our dorms." Sakura said having a very serious face.
"So for now let's just enjoy our day!" Tomoyo said enthusiastically.
"Hey guys did I miss anything?" Mikan asked while carrying five boxes of her favourite howalon.
"Nope, you didn't miss anything at all. So guys, where are we gonna go to next?" Sakura asked them.
"Let's go to the bookstore first. I wanna buy something there if it's okay with you guys." Yuu shyly said.
"Of course it's alright. So let's go guys." Mikan happily said.
And so the gang accompanied Yuu to the bookstore. After that, they went to other stores that the gang wanted to go to. After a while, they got tired of roaming and so they went back to their dorms. Anna, Nonoko and Yuu stayed at Mikan's dorm for the night because they were going to hear about their new friends'past.
"Hey guys, I'm gonna wander around the school again first."Mikan told her friends.
"Just be careful Mikan-chan."Anna said.
"I will so don't worry. Bye guys." Mikan said as she went out.
"So now that Mikan-chan's gone, can you guys tell us about your past?" Nonoko asked,
"Okay we'll tell you but you have to promise that you won't tell Mikan that we told you about our past."Tomoyo said.
"We promise."The three chorused.
And so the gang started talking about the past while Mikan was away.
Flashback 2 years ago
"Mikan-sama, Ohayou!"A group of students said.
"Good morning to you too minna."Mikan replied smiling.
"Ohayo Hotaru-sama,Sakura-sama, Tomoyo-sama!"They said when the group passed them.
The gang just waved at them except for Hotaru who shot them with the baka gun and then proceeded to their classroom.
"I wonder if Keith is already in the classroom. I didn't see him outside today."Mikan said.
"You're just excited to see your boyfriend."Sakura said teasingly.
Mikan just blushed and the gang just laughed at her.
As they approached the classroom, they heard some moaning of a girl. They didn't mind whoever was in there but what made them stop in their tracks was what they heard the people inside say.
"Hey baby, when are you going to dump that stupid girlfriend of yours?"The girl said.
"Today, just be patient Luna."The boy said.
' Wait, isn't that Keith's voice? N-no it can't be.' Mikan said.
But what she heard next confirmed what she thought and it shattered her world.
"Keith I hope so. I can't stand seeing you with her. And besides you were just using her right."Luna said.
"You know me well baby."Keith replied.
Unknown to both of them, Mikan and the gang heard it all. The gang was so furious but Mikan was just silent.
"Mikan-chan, are you alright?"Tomoyo asked concerned for her precious friend.
"Mikan.."Hotaru just said.
They then saw tears slowly falling down Mikan's cheeks. She was obviously hurt, I mean who wouldn't? Your boyfriend just cheated on you and worst, he never even loved you. He just used you.
"I am so going to kill that bastard and that slut."Sakura said.
But before Sakura could barge in the room, Hotaru beat her to it carrying the baka bazooka. Her aura was deadly. She was seriously going to kill Luna and Keith for hurting her best friend. She shot them both and they fell unconscious.
"That's for hurting Mikan bastards."Sakura said.
"Let's go Mikan, forget about Keith. He's not even worth your time. That bastard doesn't deserve you."Tomoyo said as she held Mikan's hand and dragged her away from the classroom.
After what happened, the gang transferred so that Mikan could forget what have happened to her and so that she won't have to see Keith's face ever again. They then started disguising theirselves as nerds to prevent what happened to happen again.
End of Flashback
With Hotaru and the Gang...
"What a jerk! I can't believe he did that to Mikan." Nonoko exclaimed.
"Yeah, Mikan is the nicest person I've ever met."Anna said.
"That's why we're trying to make Mikan and Natsume fall for each other. So that she could forget the past and move on." Tomoyo said.
"That's why this plan must be a success." Sakura said.
While under the sakura tree, Mikan was singing...(note: Mikan knows a lot of language)

Images about the past started flashing back to Mikan as she remembered what happened 2 years ago. "Hey baby, when are you going to dump that stupid girlfriend of yours?"The girl said.
"Today, just be patient Luna."The boy said.
"Keith I hope so. I can't stand seeing you with her. And besides you were just using her right."Luna said.
"You know me well baby."Keith replied.
'How could you Keith. Am I not good enough?' Mikan thought as tears started to fall from her eyes but she still continued to sing.

'Keith...'
"Why am I remembering that?"Mikan muttered to no one in particular.
*sigh* "I have to forget. I have to move on. But why can't I?" Mikan asked herself as tears still filled from her eyes.
Unknown to her, there was someone else at the sakura tree. And that someone was Natsume. He was peacefully resting while reading his manga at one of the branch of the tree when Mikan suddenly appeared. He didn't know who it was so he just observed her. He noticed the tears that were falling down her cheeks. (note: Mikan is not wearing her disguise but Natsume couldn't see her face clearly.)
'Her voice is beautiful but that song is really sad. But I wonder why she's crying. She must be remembering something. Well that's not my problem.' Natsume thought as he went back to reading his manga but his mind was still wondering why she was crying and why does she sound like she was in a lot of pain while she, was singing.
After Mikan finished singing and reminisced her past, she decided to go back to her room.
Author's note: Sorry for the very late update guys. I was very busy for the past few months. I hope you'll like chapter for. I haven't really put any thought on it. I just typed what came to my mind.
