Wow… I haven't updated in a long time. I will admit I always thought about this story every time I saw a new Avengers movie. I have a lot of catch up on… Anyway… Here is the next chapter…
After checking out the college fair, Pepper got a call from Tony. It was fast and when Pepper hung up see looked at Irene.
"What's up with Iron Man?" Irene asked
"He got a summon from the 'Senate Armed Services Committee's Weaponized Suit Defense Program Hearings', he must appear tomorrow at 9am." She said
Irene looked at her watch. It was 9:42 p.m.
"Wow… Twelve hours of notice. So you going with him?"
"You know I will and he said to bring with me" Pepper said putting her phone away
'NOOOOOOOOOOO!' Irene mind screamed but she knew there was no way out.
Irene and Pepper took the private jet and beat Tony by three hours because for some reason he wanted to drive the 4 hours. At the hotel Irene and Samson passed out in the bed. When Tony arrived at 2am in the morning she checked on her. Samson was at the foot of her bed and when Tony opened the door, Samson's head shot up and a little growl came out.
"Shhh" Tony said
After seeing Tony wasn't a threat, Samson put his head back down. Tony was thinking about the future. He should tell Irene about what the arc reactor is doing to him but how would she take it? Shaking his head, Tony went to his own room in the suite and went to bed. In a few hours she was going to fight for his suit and he knew he was going to win. And after that he was going to do everything with Irene and try to find a cure.
