Again, does anyone know if I have to keep putting the disclaimers in the chapters? It's getting annoying because I will never own White Collar. No matter how much I wish, Santa will not bring me the rights to this amazing show.
Neal entered the Art room with the safe in his backpack and the smirk of someone who just covered up something that could get him busted. He had just spent the entire lunch hour making sure his locker was cleared out a wiped down to remove his prints. The only things in there were the textbooks the school had given him, and the strong odor of fresh paint.
He took his seat and started to put all of his work into a portfolio. It was a Friday, and that meant the teacher allowed them to take their work home over the weekend to try to complete it. His teacher just wouldn't know that he was never coming back. Then again, there was a sub there today, a pretty young woman with caramel colored skin and black hair.
Neal finished gathering his artwork into the portfolio, and glanced at the clock. He only had ten more minutes until Mozzie would pick him up for a "doctor's appointment." He would soon be in the clear.
At least, that's what he thought before one of his classmates gasped and drew everyone's attention to the windows where people in blue jackets with yellow lettering spelling FBI were storming the building. That's when Neal nearly lost it completely.
Pulling away from his classmates at the window, he slowly and quietly made his way to his desk and picked up his backpack and portfolio. He turn towards the door in the front of the room, only to be frozen in place by the sight of the sub pointing a gun right at him.
Neal dropped his portfolio and immediately started to think of a new plan on how to escape, when his day just got worse. The FBI stormed into the classroom, and his classmates had just turned around to see countless guns pointed right at Neal.
Neal had his hands up and just glared at the agents as two men, both of whom he recognized as Agents Burke and Jones from the day when they had picked up his project, approached him. They stowed their guns in their jackets and one of them approached him. Jones took out his cuffs and pulled his hands behind his back.

Peter could barely bite back a smirk as Jones put cuffs on Bennett. This guy was good, but the FBI was better.
"Neal Bennett, you are under arrest." Peter said. Neal, who had been looking at him very calmly, now glared piercingly at him, almost murderously.
"My name is Neal Caffery." He practically spat out. "Not Bennett. Don't ever use that mans name in my presence again."
Peter was a little taken aback at that. He already figured that the kid didn't like his father considering his profile, but to have just the name set him off was a bit much.
"Fine, Neal Caffery. Your under arrest." Peter corrected himself. The boy calmed down slightly.
"Under what charges?" Neal asked, straightening his back and trying to look like he was above everyone else in the room.
Peter let out a chuckle. "Okay, kid. I'll humor you." Peter said, and pulled a little notebook out of his jacket pocket. "We have you on suspected art forgery, art theft, bank robbery, money laundrying, and bond forgery. And that is just the United States. We also know you have been abroad, and are letting other countries know that a world class criminal might have robbed them."
Neal waited for a moment, looking at Burke as if he expected something more. "Oh that's all you know. Okay, lets go with those." He said, a look of humorous surprise on his face.
"Jones, get him out of here." Peter ordered, turning away. That was a big mistake.
The second Peter turned his back; Neal had finished picking the locks on his handcuffs, and elbowed Jones in the stomach. Peter turned back in time to see Neal pull Jones' gun out of his jack and held it against his head.
I AM SO SORRY! I HAVE NO PROPER EXCUSE FOR WHY THIS CHAPTER IS SO LATE! Just me being lazy. Just want to say a special shout out to a specific person who really made me feel great about this story. I know it's really bad and short compared to previous ones, but bear with me! I'll try to get the next one up in a few days.
