So, here's the next Miraculous user. She doesn't have a last name here, simply because I couldn't think of a good one (or find one that I liked). She's a sweetheart and- as one of the oldest miraculous users (in the top three, actually) is rather wise.
440 B.C., India
She was surprised when she found the bracelet. It wasn't that the twelve- year- old Usha was unhappy- this could be the only way out of a marriage that she did not want. What she was surprised at was the little being that popped out of the bracelet. A small… elephant?
"Greetings. My name is Ritti, and I am the Kwami of memory." The tiny thing said. "You are now the keeper of the Miraculous. You must never take it off."
"My betrothed," she muttered the last word, "Will not let me keep you. He is greedy, and will want you for his own."
"He cannot have me. I am only able to be called upon by one who is worthy. You are, he is not. You must keep the miraculous safe no matter what." Ritti said.
Usha frowned. "How am I to do that? I am a woman."
"That does not matter." The miraculous laughed. "I have had other guardians, and many of them were powerful as well as female. From what I can see, you have only one way of being able to protect me, protect yourself, and keep your duty."
"and what is that?" the girl said.
"Run." The Kwami whispered. "run and never return. There is much to be discussed, and not much time to do so. Will you take the responsibility?"
"Yes." The girl whispered.
"Then say the words: mujhe badalana!"
She did. And that night, she ran.
And behold: Ritti, the Kwami of Memory. A bit of background: At this point, the Miraculous holding the Kwami of Fate is missing. Alya will get into that. I have written her getting her miraculous, and I will be posting it, but that won't happen for a while, this case goes for Nino and Chloe, as well (because someone needs a slap in the face, first, and Ladybug is too nice to do that). Sorry, ranting there. Anyway, R&R
Thanks. AOP
P.S. for those of you who didn't get the transformation activation, it's just "Transform Me" in… I think I used Hindu. Yeah, I'm far too lazy to make unique transformation activations for 34 little beings…
