Chapter 4

Daniel Stormed into Grayson Manor, slamming the front door shut with severe force. Victoria and Conrad where sitting at the table, quietly enjoying their lunch, but where interrupted by a fuming Daniel.

"Of Course it's his Baby! How could I be so stupid? I thought she loved Me!"

Daniel sat down in defeat. He had given up. The woman he would die for, the woman he was going to spend the rest of his life with, Was pregnant with someone else's baby. She cheated on him.

And the worst part was that Emily's lover was the most despicable human being on the planet.

"What's wrong Daniel?" Victoria asked, Suddenly interested in the condition of Emily.

"She's Pregnant."

"Oh, wow! That's excellent news Daniel, I'm thrilled." Conrad replied, his mood picking up at the thought of becoming a grandfather.

"It's Aiden's baby, not mine."

Conrad's face fell. Victoria smirked.

"What?"

"The doctor came in, Dad. Told me she was going to be fine and the baby was okay too. She's three months pregnant." Daniel sighed, rubbing his hands across his face, wiping away any evidence that he had cried.

"And we haven't, you know, been close in 4 months."

"I'm sorry, Daniel. But She's always had strong feelings for that man, there always was strong chemistry between them." Victoria told Daniel, secretly pleased, because this meant her son and that little bitch wouldn't be together anymore.

"Son, you don't know that. Maybe she was..Harmed?"

Daniel understood what Conrad was suggesting.

"If she was, then I am going to stick by her side and help her through it. But, I guess we will just have to wait."

Aiden ran through the hospital, bumping into many of the staff and quickly apologising. He noticed Nolan outside Emily's room and stopped running. He walked up to Nolan slowly, Scared of what he was about to see.

"Nolan." Aiden whispered, giving him a strong hug.

"I-I'm so sorry, all of this is my fault and if i-" Aiden cut him off and layed a hand on the Distraught man's back.

"Nolan, none of this is in any way your fault, Okay? Stop blaming yourself."

Nolan nodded, accepting the words from Aiden. They stood in silence, staring at Emily. She was asleep in bed, with Several IV tubes coming out of her veins. She had several cuts and bruises on her face.

"I think I might go in."

"Wait, Aiden, before you do, there's something you need to know.."

"Go on."

"She's pregnant." Aiden felt the air being removed from his body. She was pregnant? With Daniel's baby? He felt sick.

"It's yours."

Aiden couldn't hear anymore of Nolan's words. His world had stopped. The only thing he could hear were his loud thoughts. Mine? We're going to have a baby? He thought he was going to cry. This is everything that Aiden wanted, a Baby with the woman he loved.

"That's...Amazing!"

"Yeah, Congrats. But there's something else. Daniel knows, and.. He's out for your blood."

Aiden sat beside Emily, holding her hand. She looked so beautiful, even in her unconscious state. He just wanted to kiss her, love her, tell her everything was going to be okay.

He told her all about Italy and the villa he lives in. He told her about how much it hurt him to be apart from her, but she didn't wake up.

He continued talking to her, and spent the rest of the day by her side. Several Doctor's came in and told him she should wake up very soon.

"I love you Emily, and I'm never letting you go again." He sighed and leaned over to kiss her on her head. He didn't even know if she loved him.

He sat back down, and ran his fingertips up and down her arms. "This always used to calm you down, Do you remember?" Aiden wasn't expecting a reply.

"Yeah, I do." Emily replied, very groggily.

"Emily! You're awake! Should I get a Doctor? What do you need?"

Emily pointed over to the glass of water and Aiden lifted it up to Emily's lips, carefully held it to her lips, and she swallowed the water quickly.

"How are you feeling? You gave us all a scare."

"A bit sore... What are you doing here?"

"Nolan called me. I came as soon as I heard. I ran out of the villa and the only thing i brought with me was my wallet!"

Emily chuckled, desperately wanting to touch Aiden, but resisted. She still loved him so much, and just seeing him, hearing what he did, made those feelings even stronger.

The laughter died down and was replaced with comfortable silence.

"I.. know, Emily." She gave him a confused look, unsure of what he was talking about. "The baby, Emily, I know about the baby."

"Oh." She replied, her mouth going dry again. This was not the way she wanted to tell him.

Aiden could sense Emily was upset. "No, It's amazing Emily! I'm so excited!"

"You are?"

"Yes of course! I going to have a baby with the woman I love! What could be better than that?"

Emily smiled. But then his words hit her. "Wait. You..Love me?"

Aiden smirked. "I've always loved you Emily. My feelings for you grow stronger everyday."

Emily signaled for Aiden to lie down next to her in the massive bed, and He did so.

Their faces where inches apart, and Emily was staring deep into Aiden's beautiful eyes, getting lost in them.

"I love you, Aiden."

He slowly leaned forward and planted a delicate kiss on her lips. It was electric and magical. Emily savoured the kiss and pulled away. They both smiled at each other, and for the first time, nothing else mattered in that moment.

Aiden lay his hands softly on Emily's stomach, and looked up at her, tears filling his eyes. He moved his position so his head was laying gently on her stomach and began whispering loving things to their baby. It was perfect. Emily ran her fingers through Aiden's hair. Everything was perfect.

But They didn't know they had an audience watching them.
