(Combination Chapter 4)

[Five Years Later]

Naruto was standing before his mother and father who both had sad looks on their faces. It was that time and yet they didn't feel he was ready yet. He was strong, there was no denying that, but was he really ready for this? It was a question that had kept both parents up at night with worry, causing them to had deep bags under their eyes.

Naruto was all prepped to go. His outfit had changed greatly in the last five years. He now wore the standard Uchiha clan outfit which included a black shirt with a high-collar left slightly open and blue pants with bandages around his shins. Around his waist, he had a sash that held a sack, which held his ninja tools. The part that Naruto liked the most was the Uchiha clan symbol on his back that he got when he mastered the Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu. It was an important moment in Naruto's life since it gave him adult status amongst the clan.

"Alright Naruto it is time we leave" spoke Madara as he started to walk away from his nephew, his brother, and sister-in-law. He was disgusted with his brother for waiting so long to send his son out onto the battlefield. They had entered their clan's battles at eight, this kid was ten, a whole two years. It was sad but he wouldn't say anything in front of his brother.

"Madara can we talk for a second" asked Izuna as he walked up to his brother while his son was saying goodbye to his mom, while Remui tried not to let her son see the tears that were trying to force their way out of her eyes.

"Sure" spoke Madara as he disappeared in a Fire Style: Body Flicker Technique. Izuna copied him and disappeared in a burst of fire only to arrive in a clearing close to Izuna's house.

"What is it that you wanted to talk to me about" asked Madara as he looked at the stressed look on his brother's face. His brother had been trying to push tradition aside and come with them, but Madara had been firm and said no. even though Madara and Izuna were on equal footing, Madara had more support because of tradition said the parents were not supposed to go off into battle with their kids lest they become a liability. The elder and other traditionalists voted with Madara, so Izuna wasn't allowed to join the fight, same with his wife.

"Watch over Naruto for me. He is young, reckless, and easily distracted. I know he is strong but he hasn't ever been in a situation where people were dying left and right. He might freeze up and that is all that the enemy will need to end his life" spoke Izuna with clinched fists. His brother had done such an unforgivable thing that it was taking everything Izuna had not to strangle his where he stood. He couldn't believe his brother would actually try and stop him from protecting his son. He knew Madara didn't give a fuck about some old tradition that didn't mean much to anyone.

"I will be leading our forces plus the possibility of running into the Senju brothers, which will leave little time for me to watch over Naruto" spoke Madara, but to his shock Izuna lashed out at him and grabbed his shoulder guards right before he flipped him over his head and then slammed him into the ground.

"You listen and listen well brother. I would have been able to watch him and coordinated our armies and let you fight Hashirama to your hearts content but you stopped that so you will watch over Naruto, you will make sure he comes back alive, and you will protect him if he gets in over his head, or you won't live to see the sun rise the next day" spoke Izuna in a cold voice dripping with malicious. He was so close to flipping out it wasn't even funny so his brother was walking on thin ice with him.

Madara was shocked that his own brother would say something like to him. It made him angry, but not at Izuna, no Madara's furry was aimed at Remui who he blamed for taking his brother from him, and their child who took what little time they had after Izuna had gotten married. Madara wanted to lash out, but he calmed himself.

"I will make sure he comes back alive and well" spoke Madara through gritted teeth. Izuna's mangekyou sharingan was blazing with furry but slowly it let up reverting back to the regular sharingan. Izuna let go of Madara and started to walk away, but not before looking at his brother with a strange look.

"You have changed brother" was all Izuna said before disappearing in a flash of fire. Madara didn't know what he meant but it made him even angrier. Madara got up and dusted himself off before disappearing in a flash of fire and appearing before Naruto who looked ready to go.

"Good luck Naruto, I know you will be great" spoke Izuna with a warm smile that made Madara's anger flash for a moment before he suppressed it. Naruto hugged his father before looking towards his mother.

"No matter what happens Naru-chan promise me you won't change. Always stay my warm little man" was all Remui said before smothering Naruto in another big hug trying not to cry.

"I promise" spoke Naruto while hugging his mother. When she let go he walked over to his uncle Madara but then he looked back at his family.

"I love you guys" spoke Naruto with a happy smile on his face as he waved at them.

Tears were trying to break free but Izuna and Remui were able to keep them from freely flowing for now. "And we will always love you to" spoke Remui and Izuna at the same time. Madara grabbed Naruto by the shoulder and then they both disappeared in a torrent of fire. After he was gone they let their tears flow freely.

"Izuna promise me he will come back. Promise me I won't have to burry my baby" spoke Remui with tears in her face and a catch in her throat as she held herself not getting up from her knees from when she was kneeling to hug Naruto.

Izuna's tears didn't stop, but he did kneel down and hug his wife while gently rubbing her back. "Shhhhh I promise he will be alright. He is our son; nothing will be able to stop him. He will survive and come back to use because there isn't anything that can keep us apart" spoke Izuna trying to keep the hitch in his throat from messing up his speech.

[With Naruto and Madara]

Naruto and Madara came out of the fire quickly. Madara let go of Naruto's shoulder and walked up to a large group of Uchiha who were all staring at him and his uncle Madara. There had to be at least two hundred Uchiha standing there with varying looks and genders.

"Alright pack up and move out. We will need to make it to where our client is paying us to go" shouted Madara getting various responses from the other Uchiha. They all turned around and started to follow Madara who was traveling at a good rate of speed. Many of them didn't think Naruto would be able to catch up but he quickly surprised them by passing them up and running alongside Madara. Madara simply ignored it and kept on running.

They kept running continuously through all terrain. At first they were running through a thin forest by jumping from tree to tree, but then they came to the end of it and landed in a large grassland but they kept on running. Some looked slightly winded but nobody complained. They ran through a small section of the desert before heading north. While they were running north they came to a long stretch of land where it kept on raining and the land was pretty bare except for some shrubs.

"Rest up" shouted Madara as he used a simple earth jutsu and made a simple looking hut. He didn't say anything to anyone after that and walked inside.

Naruto looked around and saw people setting up various shelters. Some had homemade tents while other used earth based jutsu to make small dwelling like Madara had. Naruto pulled out a small tent his mother had given him. It was a dark brown color with a small blanket and pillow inside of it. Naruto's mother had said that dark brown was the best color for camouflage because trees grew almost everywhere and even if they didn't the earth was brown so in places like the Wind and Earth Country it would still be useful. She had said, after he said something about it, that black did stand out and was only useful at night. He didn't argue with her.

As Naruto was unrolling his sleeping bad he felt someone approaching him and turned around. He saw another Uchiha looking at him with a curious look in his eye before it moved over to his tent. Naruto scrunched up his face in annoyance.

"Hey what are you looking at" demanded Naruto as he looked at the guy. He could feel the bones in his arm already start to form just ready to be unleashed. The man looked slightly surprised but not offended.

"Sorry, didn't mean to stare, it's just I haven't ever seen a Kaguya clan tent. Very interesting" spoke the man as he circled Naruto's tent. Naruto didn't like it. He felt like his tent was a bait fish and this man was a predator. He didn't like that and if he tried something he would show him that he was a shark unlike anyone had ever seen before.

"Well now you have" spoke Naruto eyeing the man. He didn't let him out of his sights for even a moment. There was something odd about this man, like an underlining threat was there but it was just hidden enough for him not to notice it.

"And I like what I am seeing. How about I take it off of your hands and you can sleep under a shrub" spoke the man as he reached for Naruto's tent. He quickly withdrew his hand when three kunai rushed towards him. The man dodged fairly well, but when he landed he gave Naruto an evil look.

"You little bastard you had better learn who your superiors out here are. You think you can just attack whoever you like just because your father is one of the co-leaders" demanded the man as he pulled out a tanto. Naruto wasn't scared in the least.

"I am not attacking you because I want to, I am attacking you because you're not about to take what is mine" shouted Naruto as a bone grew out of his elbow. It continued to grow until Naruto pulled it out and held it like a sword. "Dance of the Camellia" spoke Naruto ready to kill this man.

"You little freak, I will teach you your place" spoke the man as he charged at Naruto. The man was fast, but Naruto knew he wasn't a commander or a Lieutenant that was for sure.

Naruto slashed his bone sword forward which caused the man to block. They fought over dominance but Naruto wasn't about to budge. Naruto pushed forward, but he could feel his feet sinking in the mud little by little. Naruto smirked coming up with a good idea. The man made an ugly face, but Naruto just kicked a big foot full of mud up into his face.

"Damn it you cheap bastard my precious eyes" shouted the man right before something that felt like a metal fist made contact with his stomach causing him to double over. He threw up instantly.

"Bet next time you will think twice before trying to take something that is not yours" spoke Naruto as he began to walk away. He got about halfway to his tent before he heard the man start talking again.

"You little shit. I am going to kill you" shouted the man as he started going through hand signs. "Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet" shouted the man right before he slammed his hands on the ground.

When Naruto looked back he saw the mud start to take form before it took the shape of a dragon's head. The head opened up and a light could be seen down its throat. Then all of a sudden ball of hardened mud start to shoot out of it and were heading towards Naruto.

Naruto held his bone sword up into the sky right before saying "Lightning Release: Lightning Fang Jutsu." Lighting engulfed Naruto's bone sword right before he pulled it back and then made a slashing movement towards the incoming mud balls. A powerful arc of lighting shot out of Naruto's sword and easily cut through both the earth bullets and the earth dragon's head right before it exploded sending tendrils of electricity out into the rain. The electricity kept jumping from water drop to water drop until they ran into the man who had used the earth jutsu thus electrocuting him.

Naruto watched with satisfaction as his lighting jutsu took down both his enemy and his jutsu. He waited a second before going over to the man because he could still see sparks jumping around in the rain water. He had learned the hard way that water and lightning do work well together, a little too well which meant the user could be hurt as well.

When the sparks stopped jumping Naruto walked over to the nearly fried man who looked to be in a great deal of pain. Naruto hadn't held back, half because he didn't know how strong he was, and the other reason is because he wanted to hurt this moron. He thought that because Naruto was young he would only know how to use one element, fire, which was weak in this heavy rain so he attacked with an earth jutsu. It was very foolish. Naruto's lighting jutsu was strengthened by all the rain and because lightning was strong against earth the odds were all in Naruto's favor.

"Moron" spoke Naruto as he bent down and started to rummage through the man's things. He was still young and wasn't allowed to learn any 'dangerous' jutsu from the clan library because of his parents. He was taught many things, especially those that involved the sharingan and the Dead Bone Pulse, but the only reason Naruto knew that jutsu was because he had invented it. His mother had taught him the chakra flow technique to improve the Dead Bone Pulses abilities, but Naruto was the one that took it even further and created long range lighting based techniques for it.

Naruto didn't find crap. The man was both an idiot and useless, what a combination. Naruto sighed before standing up and the looking around him. Many Uchiha had come to watch their battle and when they saw that it was Naruto who won they all broke out in grins and cheers.

"I want this guy watching my back"

"Haha with that lighting and this rain he will do great for his first time"

"I thought that was so cool! I wish I knew a jutsu like that"

"It looks like the mixing of Uchiha and Kaguya blood worked out even better than we thought"

The compliment and such continued on and on. Many people who had been tense earlier were now smiling feeling much better about the battle before them. Naruto didn't care, he was tired from all that running, and he put way to much chakra into that last jutsu, so he went into his tent, laid down, and passed out.

Naruto awoke to the sound of frantic shouting and many people hustling and bustling around him. Naruto popped his head out of his tent and saw the serious faces of the Uchiha running around him. Naruto activated his sharingan and saw that off into the distance a large group of people were running their way. Naruto quickly jumped up and pulled out a sealing scroll and sealed up his belonging, before turning around and looking for someone to tell him what to do.

"Get behind us. The young always enter the battlefield last" shouted one Uchiha as he ushered Naruto being a large group of adults. Naruto's nerves were causing him to shake a bit but other than that he kept things together.

The rain hadn't let up in the slightest and Naruto was starting to think that the rain was a common thing in this place. The smells were so faint and would disappear in a moment's notice, the earth was mushy and shifted below his feat, and there was a slight breeze that was neither hot nor cold. This place was weird to Naruto; it was like a twilight zone or something.

Eventually the oncoming force stopped about two hundred years away from them and two men ran forward, one with black brown hair and another with silver hair. Naruto watched as Madara ran off to meet them, and continued watching as they started talking. The talking soon escalated into yelling which moved on them turning away from one another and running off towards their own armies.

"Listen up men. The Senju want us to back down, to run with our tail between our legs while they claim the glory, the victory, and the spoils that so rightfully belong to use. Now I ask you, who wants to let them have what they want" shouted Madara with a fierce yet charismatic fire in his voice. It was instantaneous. The Uchiha started shouting like bloodthirsty warriors ready for battle and Naruto could sense just how pumped up they were by their chakra motion.

The first attack was sent by the Senju. They obviously had the advantage in this fight because they were known for their earth and water based ninjutsu, and there was plenty of both laying around and falling from the sky. Naruto didn't know if what he was about to do was either smart or stupid but he wanted to prove himself worthy of standing on the front line and not in the back like a child needing protection.

"Dance of the Seedling Fern" shouted Naruto as he slammed his hand into the ground. In all honesty he didn't know if it would work. He had seen his mother use it a few times, but he hadn't ever gotten it right, especially since she wouldn't let him just copy her techniques, saying they needed to be earned by blood, sweat, and tears.

Naruto could feel it. He could feel as his chakra was feed into the ground and start to take form. The other Uchiha were looking at him funny and the Senju were looking around trying to figure out what was going on.

"Hey what's up with your chakra" asked one of the Uchiha as he looked at Naruto with his sharingan eyes seeing the weird flow of Naruto's chakra.

Hashirama Senju couldn't tell what that kid was doing, but he was a highly skilled sensor, just like his brother, and felt the chakra move from where the Uchiha were to where they were.

"Every move it is coming from below us" shouted Hashirama as he jumped up into the air as hundreds of sharp bones started to shoot up out of the ground. The bones impaled many Senju while other dodge the bones seemed to take on a life of their own and would branch out and impale any Senju who got to close.

Back over at the Uchiha side many of the Uchiha were watching with ah as the bones killed Senju after Senju. Naruto started to breathe heavily from the exaction it caused him to use that technique on such a massive scale so far away. Many of the Senju had been able to get out of the way true, but not all of them. It seemed the Senju were even better than Naruto had first expected them to be. Naruto knew this would be a very deadly battle and kept his sharingan active. He would need every advantage he could get.

When the Senju had recovered from the attack they looked towards the Uchiha with confusion and shock. Anger started to form in them and they quickly charged towards the Uchiha. They threw weapons at the Uchiha the Uchiha threw weapons right back. Naruto was amazed and scared all at the same time. There were so many things going on all at the same time that he was amazed they could fight like this.

"AHHHHH" was what broke Naruto out of his daze and when Naruto looked to his left he saw a large Senju with a sword about to cut him in half. Naruto went to block with his arm but the Senju's quick speed allowed him to curve to course the blade was on and change it to his ribs.

The man had though he had won with little to no problems, but when a group of bones shot out of the boy's ribs and caught the blade he was both shocked and scared. He had wanted to know where the bones had come from, but to suspect they came from this little boy was shocking.

"That won't work on me" spoke Naruto as he pointed his left index finger at the man's skull "but this will work on you, Finger Drilling Lighting Bullet" shouted Naruto as a small bone shaped like a bullet blasted out of Naruto's finger coated in lighting chakra. The bullet was far too fast for the Senju to dodge which ended up being the death of him. The finger bullet easily entered the man's skull and kept on going right out the back of his skull.

The Senju dropped to the ground instantly dead as a doorknob. Naruto was frozen for a moment. He had just killed someone. He could feel fear creeping into his vein, right before an Uchiha landed beside him and slapped the crap out of him. The man was lucky in retrospect because Naruto didn't know how to create bone armor under his skin, because if he did the man's hand would have shattered from smashing his weak bones against Naruto's strong ones. Naruto fell on his ass and looked up at the Uchiha who had a stern look on his face.

"This isn't the time to freeze up. You have killed, we all have, your mother, your father, and everyone else in our clan has, it is just our way of life, but unless you want to break your mother and father's hearts because you were not able to take it and were killed on the battlefield then by all means just lay down I am sure one of these Senju will happily take your life" spoke the Uchiha before he jumped back into the fray and started to attack another Senju.

Naruto looked down at his hand, then over at the dead Senju, before looking back towards his clenched hands. He wouldn't die, not like this. He had a family and loved ones he wasn't ready to leave behind. Naruto stood up and looked around. He heard something moving through the air and when he turned around he saw a giant fuma shuriken coming his way. He blocked the shuriken with his bones, but then noticed the explosive tags connected to the inside of the shuriken.

"Damn" shouted Naruto right before the shuriken exploded sending Naruto flying through the air. He landed about twenty feet away and could feel the white hot shrapnel inside of him. 'Damn it' thought Naruto as he willed his bones to start pushing the shrapnel out of his body.

"I never would have thought I would see the day a Kaguya actually stepped onto the battlefield with the Uchiha. What are they scared they can't take us all on their own" taunted the man. Naruto would have responded, but a memory on tactics his father once taught him rung in his head. Never let your emotions rule you, and take every advantage you can get.

"Uhhg" was all Naruto could say as he acted like he was having a hard time getting back up.

"Ha how weak" spoke the man as he pulled out his sword and stepped beside Naruto. "Time to die" shouted the man as he raised the sword high into the air.

Faster than the man could see, Naruto's right hand shot out towards his attacker, and a long thin bone shot out of Naruto's palm and entered the Senju's chest, right where his heart should be. The last thing the man saw was a bone sticking into his heart, and a pair of evil red eyes staring into his own.

The man fell back with a thud and Naruto retracted the bone back into his body. He looked down and saw that all of the shrapnel had been pushed out of him and the wounds were already healing. Naruto looked around trying to figure out where he should attack from next.

On one side of the battlefield were hundreds of Senju and Uchiha all hacking and slashing at one another while on the other giant tree roots and fire jutsu were clashing causing wide scale destruction.

"Yea I would rather fight the hundreds of Senju then get in between Madara and Hashirama while they fought" spoke Naruto to nobody unparticular. He wasn't expecting anyone to respond for sure.

"I would have to agree with you on that one" came a calm yet powerful voice from behind Naruto. Naruto slowly turned around and felt his legs go weak. Standing there was Tobirama Senju, the second strongest Senju in the entire Senju clan. 'Wow never wanted my mom and dad more than I do right now' thought Naruto as he steeled his nerves and kept his sharingan on the man without blinking.

"You're interesting. You have the Shikotsumyaku, and you have the sharingan, why is that" questioned the white haired Senju. Naruto felt his mouth go dry. This man was powerful, way to powerful, but there wasn't much he could do about his current situation. He started going through everything he knew about Tobirama. He knew he was a master of kenjutsu and has invented a unique sword that generated its own lighting, he was a master of water and lightning based ninjutsu, and all of his other skills were probably better than Naruto's as well.

"They were a gift from the Uchiha clan. I was blinded in battle and these were given to me as a thank you gift to me" spoke Naruto holding onto his bone sword that he had dropped earlier. Tobirama didn't seem bothered by the bone sword at all and all but ignored it.

"Then why are you not falling over from chakra exaction? From what I know of people using dojutsu that were not originally theirs they seem to have a chakra exaction problem" spoke Tobirama as he took a step forwards, his Sword of the Thunder God in hand and a long blade of yellow lighting extending from it.

"The Kaguya healing factor along with my natural born high charka levels made it so I can use them for prolonged periods of time, but after a while I have to cover them up to regain my lost chakra" spoke Naruto as he channeled lighting chakra through his bone sword. Tobirama stopped walking forward but kept eyeing Naruto with a weird look.

"It matters not. You will die here today" spoke Tobirama as he charged towards Naruto at an unbelievable rate of speed. He was nearly if as fast as Naruto's father, though not as fast as Naruto's mother.

Naruto quickly pulled up his lightning empowered bone sword and blocked the weird sword Tobirama was using. Tobirama seemed to be slightly surprised but shook it away from him like it wasn't even a problem right before he delivered a powerful knee to Naruto's gut. He was surprised when Naruto's knee blocked his, and caused pain to race through his body. Tobirama pushed Naruto off of his blade which sent Naruto tumbling. When Naruto looked up he saw Tobirama flexing his knee with an annoyed look on his face. Naruto wasn't about to let this opportunity get past him and quickly rushed off towards him at top speeds. Tobirama slashed at Naruto with his weird sword but Naruto was able to block it with his bone sword. Before Tobirama could push Naruto back again he sent his own knee at Tobirama's stomach. Tobirama saw this and back up slightly, but Naruto saw through that and quickly extended his leg for a full length attack, but Tobirama's reach was still too far for Naruto's shorter legs to reach him, but that didn't stop Naruto.

"Five Toe Drilling Bullets" shouted Naruto as his toes were pointed at Tobirama. Tobirama's eyes got much larger right before he jumped back and tried to dodge the five bone bullets shot at him at close range.

He was able to dodge the first one by leaning backwards, but the other four were even lower and more spread out causing Tobirama to lean back even further. Tobirama saw one of the bone pullets going for his right hand so he pulled it backwards and rotated his arm. He saw the same thing happening to his left hand and repeated the process. The fourth bone almost got him and flew right over his chest but this made Tobirama lean his head backwards to dodge it. This was the reason Tobirama didn't see the last one right before it grazed the top of his left leg causing him to fall to the ground.

Naruto watched the whole thing and was wondering 'what does he think this is? The matrix or something?' Naruto wasn't about to lose this opportunity though and ran at the downed Tobirama and went to slash his head off, but unfortunately a few other Senju saw this and rushed in to defend one of their two leaders. Naruto was angry, but when a group of Uchiha surrounded him, giving him some much needed back up, he let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

Before they could attack one another a weird conch horn was blown causing all of the Uchiha to look over at it funny. The gritted their teeth but soon they were all running away with the Uchiha shouting in victory.

"We won" shouted Naruto right before he fell on his ass, and felt how much his legs were shaking. It would take a while for his nerves to calm down.

"Hey man good job I haven't see anyone but Madara and your dad hurt the Tobirama Senju in a long time" spoke one Uchiha.

"Damn kid you got the making of a legend in you" came another compliment from another Uchiha.

"Killed two grown Senju and hurt their second in command on your first day now that is what I am talking about" came the compliments of yet another man.

The compliments kept on pouring down on Naruto and Naruto just smiled thanking whatever god or goddess who had his back for another day on earth because he knew it was luck he survived at all.

The Uchiha who still had plenty of energy picked Naruto up and started to parade him around. Naruto hollowed out his bones so he would be light instead of super heavy and relaxed and enjoyed himself.

XXX When Naruto Got Back Home XXX

"YOU FOUGHT WHO" shouted Remui as she looked down at her son in shock. He had just told her a shocking and thrilling tail about his first mission, but that last part wasn't something that made the Kaguya mother happy at all.

"Yea I ran into Tobirama Senju on the battlefield and he attacked me after asking a few questions. I was able to hold him off for a bit but only because he chose to fight be at close range and didn't know what I was capable of though" spoke Naruto with pride in his voice. He not only fought and lived after fighting the legendary Tobirama Senju, but he was actually able to hurt him.

"And where was Madara or any other Uchiha for that matter" demanded his father as he looked down at Naruto with anger in his voice. Naruto shied away a bit but he knew his father wasn't angry with him.

"Uhm I think Madara was fighting Hashirama Senju, and the other Uchiha were already locked in their own fights and couldn't help right then and there" spoke Naruto trying to remember what had been going on during the hectic battle.

"Thank goodness you're alive" spoke Remui as she hugged Naruto smashing his face into her chest which made Naruto blush, though his parents didn't notice.

"Well you won't have to worry about the Senju for a while since we are going to go live with the Kaguya for a while and their territory almost never clashes with the Senju's territory" spoke Izuna right before he hugged his son. "I am happy you survived though" spoke Izuna right before he disappeared in flash of fire. He had a talk with his brother immediately.

"Come on Naru-chan let's go make you something good to eat" spoke Remui as she and Naruto entered their house. Naruto smiled at that, the instant meals were alright but they got exacting eating them every day.
