(A/N: Hello viewers! You know what I've noticed? Not many of you review as much as you view. I'm a little surprised at how many views I've gotten. Oh well! Like I said, I won't be updating as much as I can anymore because I am a student. Happy reading.)

"Ahhhhh!" Hinamori screamed.

Toshiro quickly looked up and saw a black shadow with a white face mask, grasping Hinamori by her leg. His eyes widened. Fu-! He took out a pill and was about to throw it in his mouth when a figure passed by. The shadow screamed in agony, and the next thing he knew was that Hinamori was falling hundreds of feet down.

Luckily she was dropping into the water, an element he could control. He ran closer towards the water without breaking contact from her form. Estimating the time she had left before splashing, he swallowed a pill. His body split into two, one a gigai, and the other the real him. His real self was now clothed in all black. He wore a white yukata, a black kimono with a white obi, and a teal sash held a sword on his back.

Just wait, I'm gonna get you. His hand gripped the hilt of his katana, withdrawing it to his right side. His body was a blur as he ran to his love. He calculated the time she had left and pointed the tip of his katana upwards with both hands.

"Sit upon the frosted heavens, Hyourinmaru!" he yelled.

Just as he finished, crystal ice tails swept from his katana into one. Clouds immediately covered the sky with snow falling in light amounts. His katana formed an ice dragon with red eyes. The dragon, Hyourinamaru, quickly flew to the human girl in midair. He caught her on his back and flew to the other side of the sea. Toshiro smiled and looked over to see the figure who beat the hollow. A woman with a black bob in two braids with gold hoops stood in front of him with her arms crossed.

"Soi Fon-taichou," he greeted.

"What were you thinking? How could you hold the princess in public?" she questioned.

Toshiro glared at her. "We were perfectly safe," he countered.

"Hinamori Momo endangered because of you," she spat.

He frowned. How could she say that? He looked away in Hinamori's direction. She doesn't know anything. Soi Fon followed his gaze to the fainted princess. She didn't understand why everything was happening like it was. It all dated back since the princess was born. The fact of her anger was being taken out on others she knew. It was wrong, but it was worth it if she could keep her mind focused.

"Please stay away from my personal matters Soi Fon-taichou."

With that said, he turned his back on her and walked away. Soi Fon fumed and clenched her fists closed. He was in touch with her previous sensei. All she wanted to know was why. That was the reason she took the mission along with Ukitake . She wanted to meet her previous sensei, that would keep her sane. I'll find you Yoruichi-sensei. Just wait. Soi Fon turned to the way she came from.

Toshiro quickly reached Hinamori's side. She was lying on the ground with Hyourinmaru covering her. Toshiro nudged the dragon. Arigatou Hyourinmaru. The dragon nodded and dispersed bit by bit. Toshiro's gegai ran up to him in pants. Toshiro sighed. It's faster if I'm like this, but I don't want her to suspect anything.

He shifted back into his human form. He cringed at the tightness but tried to ignore it nevertheless. He scooped Hinamori into his arms and headed to her house. He reached within a matter of minutes, only to find the door unlocked. His eyes widened. No! That's impossible! He opened the door quickly by cradling Hinamori close. As soon as he opened the door, he smelt cookies. Cookies? He looked towards tke kitchen and saw the Queen cooking.

She turned around and greeted, "Ah Hitsugaya-taichou! You two are early, ne?"

"Hai. Hinamori was-," he started.

"-attacked by a hollow. Therefore, she fainted and that's why you're here. Isn't that what you weren't going to say?" she finished.

Toshiro nodded. There wasn't any point lying to her since she'd find out sooner or later. He turned away from her and to Hinamori's room. How did she know? He set her on the bed gently before moving away. His thoughts shifted when his eyes stared at her angelic face. I have yet to kiss you. He sighed when he felt an unfamiliar presence walking towards him. I guess it'll have to wait.

The door opened and a girl with strawberry blonde hair stepped in. Her bangs were held to either side with two blue barrettes. She smiled at Toshiro and introduced herself as, "Inoue Orihime! Nice to meet you."

"Same," he nodded.

"Could you please move to the side? I have to heal Momo-chan."

"You're her friend, I presume?"

Orihime nodded. Toshiro moved away from Hinamori's side and to her desk chair. "Soten Kisshun."

A gold half-oval barrier surrounded Hinamori from head to toe. Her hands stayed on the shield, complete with her focus. After a few minutes or so, the barrier faded. Orihime looked over Toshiro's face.

"She had a few scratches; nothing serious."

"Arigatou Inoue."

Orihime left the room after her nod. She had told him Hinamori had only received a few scratches. That was a lie. The truth was that Hinamori was fine. No harm. She was picked up and thrown at a fast rate towards the ocean. Surely, the hollow must have squeezed her frail body... but why wasn't she hurt? Who protected her?

"Orihime-chan?"

Orihime shook her head. "Hai?"

"You're curious about my daughter. She doesn't know she's the heir."

Orihime turned. "Why? Hinamori-san, Momo-chan has a right to know!"

The Queen smiled. "It is a burden she will carry after I pass."

Orihime shook her head. "No! Nothing will happen to you. Please don't say such things."

The Queen sighed. You do not understand. She doesn't realize who she is. The time will come when she does. For now, I want to feel normal around her. Orihime stayed silent, aware the woman in front of her was lost in her thoughts. The Queen looked up and smiled again.

"Thank you for your services. You may leave now."

As if it were a silent trance, Orihime got up and left through the door without a backwards glance. When she left, the Queen sighed. Her head was pounding from confusion. For the first time in her life, she questioned her actions. The ones who were supposed to know who she was didn't. A few of Hinamori;s friends that could see hollows were aware. I'm hiding her from her own people. It's all because of that man.

This man ruined all of her well-built plans. He understood her intentions, yet plummeted them. She despised him. He caused her to suffer; he caused her to hide an identity. She would ask him his reasons and then erase his existence. Right as she was about to leave, she heard a door open.

"Hinamori-san. If you don't mind me asking, where are you going?"

She put on a fake smile and answered, "To train, of course."

Toshiro raised one elegant eyebrow. "To train? For what?"

"For the better," she closed her eyes, "Care to join?"

"Iie. Maybe some other time. I have to keep watch on Hinamori."

She nodded and left. Toshiro stared at the closed door and furrowed his white eyebrows. That smile. Damn. She beat Unohana-taichou in the way of creepy smiles. But there was something wrong. Why was the Queen going to train? What did she mean when she said "for the better" ? Exactly what was she training for? Despite being aware of assigning a bodyguard to her daughter, she asked if he'd leave her alone? That just made perfect sense, huh? Not.

The doorbell sounded and Toshiro walked over to answer it. He sensed nothing strange but looked through the peephole just to make sure. Urahara? He opened the door to find he was correct. The man barged in and plopped himself on the couch.

"What are you doing here" Toshiro asked.

"Not much. Just thought I'd visit an old friend."

"Hilarious. You bring tears to my eyes. What's the real reason? You should be in Karakura, should you not?"

Urahara glanced at Toshiro below his glasses. He was amused. "Straight to the point? I am only here to deliver a message. Yoruichi wants to proceed with Hinamori's lessons starting tomorrow."

Toshiro sighed. "Alright then. I'll tell her as soon as she gains conscious."

Urahara nodded. He flexed his arms around the arms of the couch and relaxed.

"Urahara?"

Urahara looked at Toshiro. "Hmm?"

"How much do you know about the Hinamori clan?"

Their eyes met. Just as Urahara was about to answer, footsteps were headed walking towards them. Both males looked over to see Hinamori rubbing her eyes. She was clad in loose pajamas with her hair down.

"Shiro-chan?" she said.

Urahara grinned at Toshiro. "Shiro-chan? Hahaha, that's priceless!" he chuckled.

Toshiro scowled. He looked at Hinamori. She opened her eyes and looked at Urahara. "What are you doing here Urahara-san?"

Urahara smiled. "I just came for a friendly chat with Toshiro."

Hinamori noticed Toshiro's tense shoulders, twitching eye, and popping forehead vein. She frowned at Urahara. "Then why is he twitching?"

Urahara chuckled. "He's cold."

Hinamori bit her lip. "But it's seventy degrees outside."

Urahara sensed Toahiro's reiatsu slowly rising to suffocate him. He looked back-and-forth between Hinamori and Toshiro. She seemed unaffected, so Toshiro did want to choke him. Urahara seemed unfazed from his reiatsu since it wasn't harmful.

"Swing by once Hinamori, Hitsugaya." Urahara bid.

He got up and excused himself. The front door shut. Silence evaded the living room. Toshiro straightened his thoughts before meeting Hinamori's gaze. Her head was slightly to the left and mouth was pursed. She looked like a baby in her stance.

"Why was he here Shiro-chan?" she asked.

"Yoruichi wants to resume your lessons tomorrow." he answered.

She smiled. "Honto ni? Ah, finally. I've been waiting forever!" Her hands latched onto his arms and she looked at him. "You'll come watch me, right Shiro-chan?"

He smirked. "Of course Bed-wetter."

"I don't wet the bed anymore!" Hinamori pouted.

"Yeah, well I'm not 'little' anymore."

"But you're my Shiro-chan. Plus, I named it for your hair color when we were little."

Toshiro's eyes widened. He countered, "I don't see you complaining!"

"Haha, very funny. I wonder what color it'll be when you're older."

Even though it was an insult, Toshiro couldn't help but laugh. Hinamori looked up at him. He was laughing- it was a rare sound coming from him. Hinamori smiled and giggled at her remark. I can't believe I said that.

Hinamori looked around before asking, "Where's Okka-san?"

He came down from his laughter. He lied, "She went for a stroll."

Hinamori nodded in understanding. She moved to the kitchen. It was dinner time. She opened the fridge, leaning in with her legs straight. Toshiro followed her and blushed very slightly. He could make out her bum even in her loose clothes. Get a grip Toshiro! He shook his head. "Grip?" Oh frick. He moved to the table. He could hear the microwave open and close.

The next thing he saw was black. Hinamori! His body adjusted to the lighting and sparked his senses. He couldn't hear anything. Then, his body jerked onto something hard. A hand clutched his throat, a leg was thrown over his knees. He reached his hand to the person's collar and pulled down. He was ready for action until the lights came back on. Hemet the face of his attacker. Hinamori? Her eyes were glowing flame-red. She released short breaths and looked at Toshiro.

Her eyes widened in realization. She quickly backed away. Toshiro was bewildered. He didn't even feel her move, yet she managed to tackle him. She sat on her knees and looked concerned. The flame in her eyes still didn't disappear. Both kids looked up at the lighting. Hinamori looked towards the switch. The Queen was standing there with her mouth slightly open.

"Oh! What are you two doing on the floor?"

Hinamori and Hitsugaya got up and bowed their heads as an apology. The Queen was more than shocked inside. Ah. I guess my Momo-chan is growing up quickly. She kneeled down to her daughter to check is she was okay. Her eyes widened when she saw Hinamori's eyes. It couldn't be! The Queen slapped her hands on either side of Hinamori's face. She leaned in and studied her eyes.

There was a glow that was subsiding. Oh my God! By now, the glow had fully disappeared, leaving her chocolate brown eyes. The Queen's eyes narrowed at the change. Momo-chan, you're the Unknown Queen; I can't believe this. I can't tell anyone. The Queen averted her eyes to Toshiro. She smiled and helped both stand up. Toshiro looked skeptic from the moment the lights went out, but he pushed it aside when the Queen came in.

"Gome ne. I accidenta;;y switched the light off to go to my room. I didn't know there was anyone here."

"It's fine Okka-san."

The Queen smiled. "If that's the case, then we should get packing!"

Hinamori looked up. "Packing? Packing for what?" she asked.

"For what? To go back, of course." she said.

Hinamori sighed. I don't know if I should or shouldn't go. She nodded and went to her room to pack. It'll be good to go home though. She grabbed all of her clothes from her closet and dropped them onto her bed. Her duffel bag began to fill with her clothing and necessities. The door creaked open and close.

(A/N: How was it? I recently had a review from Reader-Favs asking if I was going to change the rating to M. I don't think this story is that mature. Do you think so? I believe an M-rating is more for lemons and stuff like that. Btw, I know you people like the fluff. ;) Review and leave me a response.)
