As Korra's alarm clock went off she quickly turn it off as she stand up and put a short sleeve top on, she grabbed some blue jeans in her dresser as she put them on, she then put socks on and put her sneakers on as she walk in the kitchen. She got a box of honey nut cheerios as she got a bowl and poured the cereal as she got some milk and poured it into the bowel then she poured a glass of milk as she started eating her cereal. As she got done she put the bowel and glass in the sink as she grabbed her backpack and walked out the front door as she notice Hanako is not waiting for her by her house like she always does. She is never late at her house when they walked to school together.
"Where the hell is Hanako?" Korra asked herself. Her cell phone rang as she open her backpack and got her cell phone out.
"Hello?" Korra asked.
"Hey Korra I over slept because I had a really great dream and I didn't want to wake up" Hanako said while disappointed.
"Hanako you scared me to death I thought you got ran over by a car damn it don't scare me like that I thought I lost my best friend!" Korra called out while upset.
"Aw I'm sorry I worried you Korra I had another me riding a unicorn dream and I didn't want to wake up from it ha ha! Oh how I wish they were real so I can ride one everyday anyways meet me in the cafeteria I'm going to have breakfast since I woke up really late and didn't have any so meet me there ok?" Hanako asked.
"Well I already had breakfast but I'll meet you there" Korra replied as she hang up and put her cell phone back in her backpack as she started walking to school. As she got to the front door she was about to open it as she heard a kicking noise as she notices it was coming from the school field. She walked over to the field as she saw Mako was on the field practicing his soccer moves. Mako did a powerful kick move and kick the soccer ball to the goal. He heard somebody as she turn around and saw Korra clapping.
"Nice shot Mako" Korra said.
"Hey Korra! Oh thank you why don't you show me one of your soccer kicks too" Mako said with a smile.
"Oh um I don't think I can kick as well as you" Korra said while disappointed.
"There's no need to worry Korra I'm sure you kick as good as me" Mako said trying to cheer her up.
"Ok here goes!" Korra called out as she kicked the soccer ball super ball to the goal.
"Whoa! Amazing shot Korra I was right you do kick as well as me" Mako said with a smile.
"Thank you I guess I do" Korra said.
"You sure do" Mako replied as they both laughed a little. Korra had totally forgotten about meeting Hanako in the cafeteria.
"Damn I forgot my best friend Hanako wants me to meet her in the cafeteria because she got up late and didn't have breakfast" Korra said.
"Oh she's your best friend?" Mako asked.
"Yeah she's been my best friend since we were in kindergarten" Korra replied.
"Wow you have been best friends since kindergarten? That's amazing! Do you have other friends?" Mako asked.
"Well at first it was just Hanako since almost everyone wants to be friends with the bitch oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to call your girlfriend a bitch" Korra lied she meant to call Asami a bitch since she is one. She was afraid Mako would yell at her and not talk to her again after calling his girlfriend a bitch she loved talking with the guy she loves now she messed up big time but instead of getting angry Mako was laughing.
"Ha! Don't worry I won't get mad at you for what you think of some people unless you say mean things about my brother then I'll get mad at you I don't really care for her ether" Mako said with a sigh. Korra was shocked by this she thought he really liked Asami since he always hang out with her and kissed her and called her sweetie.
"We have nothing in common she never comes to any of my games she hates sports and she doesn't like me talking about them in front of her I just can't stand her" Mako said with another sigh.
"Mako if you're not into her then why are you dating her?" Korra asked.
"Well at first when I started dating her I thought she was fine but then she started bossing me around so I wanted to break up with her but I didn't want to hurt her feelings so that's why I'm still with her" Mako replied.
"You really are a nice guy Mako but you need to stop being soft and stand up for yourself" Korra said.
"Thank you for your great words Korra I'll hopefully break up with her before this high school year ends I'm happy at least I have one friend" Mako said as Korra was confused by this.
"What do you mean one friend? You're so popular I thought you had a lot of friends" Korra said.
"A lot of people just want to be my friend because I'm popular and I don't like that" Mako replied with a frown.
"Well that's just rude you can't help it if your popular Hanako and I will be your friends" Korra said as she smiled.
"Thank you Korra that means a lot to me" Mako said with a smile.
"You're welcome oh and I have to meet Hanako in the cafeteria I guess I'll see you later" Korra said as she was about to walk to the cafeteria.
"Wait! I'll come with you we still have some time to hang out before class starts" Mako said.
"Oh um sure Mako" Korra said as she started to blush. Mako and Korra walked in the cafeteria where some people were having breakfast. Korra saw Hanako sitting down somewhere as she walked over and sat down next to her as Mako sat down next to Korra as she notice he was sitting next to her she blushed.
"My gosh Hanako that's a lot of food if you're going to eat all that I don't think you're going to be hungry at lunch" Korra said with a laugh.
"Hey! I didn't have time to eat breakfast since I woke up really late so I'm really hungry I guess I'll just eat an apple at lunch" Hanako said.
"You sure like to eat don't you? Well anyways you know Mako right? He wants to um hang out with us until class starts" Korra said.
"You want to hang out with us wow that's a first don't you have like many friends?" Hanako asked as Mako made a frown.
"A lot of them just wants to be my friend just because I'm popular I hate that" Mako replied.
"Oh my! Mako that's so sad I had no idea well me and Korra will be your friends don't you worry" Hanako said as she smiled.
"Oh thank you so much you guys are so nice" Mako said.
"He he Korra is going to be so happy you're going to hang out with her since she's in lo… Hanako covered her mouth as she realized what she was about to say. She had almost said that Korra was in love with Mako. Korra's face has gotten so red and she was so embarrassed that her best friend almost told Mako that she was in love with him and she was lucky she didn't because she wants to be the one to tell him her feelings she doesn't want Hanako to.
"What do you mean she's in lo?" Mako asked while confused.
"Um ha ha forget it" Hanako said.
"Uh ok so Korra do you want Hanako, Bolin, Asami you and I to go to the movies this Friday night?" Mako asked.
"Why Asami too? UGH!" Korra yelled in her mind.
"Whoa! Sure I love to go and Hanako too but don't you think the five of us would be too much money?" Korra asked.
"Don't worry my parents said they'll give me the money so no problem" Mako replied.
"Oh good but I don't know what movie were all going to see" Korra said.
"I guess will decide once we get there" Mako added.
"Ok then" Korra agreed as the bell rang for class to start.
"Well I'll see you later Hanako, Korra. Hey I'll see you later at 3rd period" Mako said as he hugged her with a smile. Korra blushed like crazy as he hugged her. Just them Asami saw Mako talking to Hanako and Korra as she ran to him and gave him a kiss. Mako was grossed out by the kiss.
"Hey sweetie I just wanted to see you before I go to my class" Asami said.
"Oh um hey Asami" Mako replied while discussed. Hanako notice that Mako didn't seem happy about seeing Asami and she was confused by that.
"Well later Korra" Mako said.
"Later Mako" Korra replied as Mako went to his class and also Asami.
"What is up with Mako? He's acting like he wasn't happy to see his girlfriend" Hanako said while confused.
"Actually here's the shocking thing Mako doesn't like Asami at all he told me at first when they were dating he thought she was fine but then she started bossing him around and he didn't like that so he wanted to break up with herbut he didn't want to hurt her feelings so that's why he's still with her" Korra replied.
"Wow that is very shocking I had no idea no wonder he wasn't happy to see her It's good Mako doesn't like her but he needs to break up with her and stop being soft" Hanako said.
"I know that's what I told him but he said he'll hopefully break up with her before this high school year ends" Korra said.
"And since he doesn't even like Asami at all it would be easier for you to tell him that you love him" Hanako said as she giggled.
"Yes I hope to tell him I love him before this high school year ends" Korra agreed.
"I'll be so proud of you when you do" Hanako said as she hugged her friend as Korra smiled. As Hanako and Korra were at the front door of their math class one of them open the door as Korra was about to go in her seat Asami accidently knocked her down as Asami was laughing.
"Oh my bad I didn't see you there ha! Not my bad I'm glad I did you look better on the floor ha! Hanako please be my friend I'm so much better than this ugly piece of crap" Asami said as she pointed a finger to Korra.
"Damn you!" Korra yelled while angry.
"You really won't give up do you? I told you no! I will never be your friend" Hanako said as she helped her friend up as they both sat in their seats. Korra notices Asami and everybody else wasn't looking her way as she stuck her tongue out at Asami. Korra hates that bitch so much she wishes she was dead. The one who is the ugly piece of crap is her not Korra. Korra wishes it was 3rd period so she can talk to Mako and get away from the bitch but she got her wish as it was finally 3rd period Mako and Korra were walking together as they both sat down in their seats.
"So Korra I'm going to have a soccer game tomorrow after school would you like to come and cheer me on?" Mako asked.
"Of course I would love to come and cheer you on" Korra replied.
"You would? Oh thank you Korra I'll be so happy when you cheer me on" Mako said.
"Yeah me too Mako" Korra replied as they both smiled. Mako and Korra have been talking all day at lunch and even at PE. Asami has been realizing that Korra and her boyfriend have been talking a lot like they were boyfriend and girlfriend she was so angry Mako is hers she will not let Korra take him away from her.
~Meanwhile~
Korra walked home as she opens the door and saw her Mom standing there.
"Hey um Mom? I just wanted to let you know I'm staying after school to watch a soccer game" Korra said.
"A soccer game? You never want to stay after school you always want to come right home what's going on here Korra?" Senna asked her daughter with a smirk.
"Um Mako has a soccer game and I want to come" Korra replied.
"Ha! I knew it was something like that you want to see that guy you have a crush on soccer game" Senna said.
"Mom! You're embarrassing me!" Korra called out as she went to her bedroom and slammed the door. She threw her backpack down as she fell on her bed with an embarrassed look on her face but she stops looking embarrassed. She couldn't wait to see Mako's soccer game she will be cheering him on as hard as she can she took a huge paper banner out as she got out colored markers she wrote in big letters saying GO MAKO! Then she started decorating the banner she drew soccer balls on it as she was finished with the banner she put her colored markers away and put the banner in her backpack she was surprised it had fit as she had a smile on her face. She hopes Mako will like it. She sat down on her bed as she thought about what Hanako said to her. Now that she knows Mako doesn't like Asami at all it would be easier for her to tell him her feelings.
"Soon Mako soon I'll tell you I love you I don't know if you'll feel the same way but I won't hold it in much longer" Korra said with a smile.
A/N: Ok so at first I wanted to have Mako tell Korra that he didn't like Asami at all later on in this story but then I was like whatever I'll have him tell her that in this chapter XD Nice reviews make me happy
