Warning: Small bits of swearing.
I don't own Hetalia.
A fancy, dark blue Volkswagon travelled up a heavily wooded, twisting drive way up a fairly large hill. Austria was driving, going slower than normal. Why he was driving even though he had no sense of direction was beyond the two women in the back, Hungary and Emily.
As they got through the last bit of the uphill drive way, a clearing came into view, with the entirety of it used by a house and gardens. There were well trimmed hedges and flower beds. Tall Cyprus trees lined the driveway up to the house. The drive way ended in a circle, with a carport just before the front entrance. The door was a lovely brown oak with marble steps leading up to it and the marble house.
Emily gauked at the size and magnificence of everything. "Damn, piano man! You live it up with style!"
Austria smirked slightly, feeling proud of the compliment. Hungary leaned in to whisper, "Wait until you see the inside."
As Emily exited the vehical, she was greeted with fresh mountain air and a slight hint of lavender from the nearby flower beds. They entered through the large door, and into a large entry way. There were two grand stair cases going up at either end, both made of an off white marble. A large flower vase stood on a maple table at the center of the room filled with exotic flowers.
Austria turned to Emily, "Welcome to the estate. Miss Hungary, would you please show our guest to her room and… um… get her some proper clothes."
Emily looked down at herself. "Oh yeah, forgot I was still in my bathing suit."
Hungary lead Emily up the stairs and down a large hall. There were only two large windows in the hall but the light was more than enough to brighten the area. She opened up a room to the far left, letting Emily in first. The room was large, leaving enough room for a sitting area and a balcony. Hungary opened up a wardrobe a little ways away and started picking out clothes that were possibly Emily's size.
Emily looked at the clothes, which were mostly dresses, and kept her face stoic, lest she offend her hostess. Hungary started leaving, giving Emily the time to change.
As Emily changed out into a pair of pants and a plain t-shirt, she heard crashing coming from downstairs. She came out of her room and peered down the stairs in curiosity. She continued to follow the noise towards a large living area.
What she saw was an albino laughing while getting chased by Hungary with a frying pan. Austria was over by the piano, obviously very annoyed. Emily thought to herself: Seems like someone disturbed his piano time.
Eventually the albino ran out of the house through the garden in the back. Emily came down and gave Hungary a questioning look and pointing in the general direction where the albino went.
Hungary sighed, "That was Prussia. It seems that every time Austria wants to play on his piano he has to come in and distract him… much less be a pervert."
Emily nodded, "Sounds just like this one kid I know. Can I hit him with that pan next time he comes?"
Hungary blinked in surprise, but smiled and handed her the pan. Austria looked over at the girls, and then started playing his piano. His fingers danced ever so lightly over the keys, making it look more fluid and flowing. The notes danced in the air and tingled Emily's ears. It lasted for a few minutes, before he stopped and played another, all without sheet music.
Emily gazed at Austria with a sense of wonder, "What song was that?"
Hungary, while not taking her gaze off Austria and the piano, said, "That was Nocturne by Chopin. It's one of Austria's favorite composers."
Emily nodded in understanding and continued to comment, "I thought Chopin was French…"
Hungary made a small giggle, "Oh, no. He was actually Polish. He spent a little bit of time in Austria before he went to Paris."
Austria continued to play the piano, while Hungary went and got some lemonade for them and they sat listening to the music. Emily rested her head on the back of the couch, being lost in luxury and the music. She thought: So this is what the rich and famous do. They are so lucky.
As the Austrian finished the sixth song, a loud guitar noise echoed throughout. This made all of them, including Emily, very annoyed that the peace and tranquility was disturbed. They looked over by the windows behind Austria, and there was Prussia playing his rock guitar. Emily wasted no time and stood up and walked over to the awesome Prussian. While Prussia noticed her walking over, he did not see the frying pan.
There was a loud crack as the frying pan made contact with the Prussian's head. Any normal person (that wasn't immortal or awesome like Prussia) would have had a cracked skull and a massive headache. Prussia took this as his cue to run. They ran throughout the living area, with Emily yelling about she would turn him in for disturbing the peace, and eventually chased him to the front door. However, while chasing the Prussian out was successful, there was a blue and white vase that was knocked over and broke.
Emily was silent for a moment before pointing to the vase and said, "I know I broke it, but I didn't mean to."
Austria and Hungary were silent for a few seconds before they were laughing up a storm. Emily sweat dropped at the scene.
It wasn't until Austria spoke that it was made clear. "Well, first, nice job taking care of Prussia. I hadn't seen him that terrified since the War of Austrian Succession! Second, don't worry about the vase, I have more of them in the closet."
He walked over to a nearby closet and he took out an exact replica of the vase. Emily peered inside the closet and saw over a hundred more of them.
She said, exasperated and her mouth open in a "what" expression, "How many of those do you have!? And dare I ask what happened to the original?"
Austria placed the new vase on the pedestal, "Well, there's at least a hundred in there, and I restock every couple of months."
Emily, with the "what" expression still present, said, "He comes that often?"
Hungary nodded in confirmation. Emily then said, "Well that guy can't seem to take a hint."
Austria continued explaining, "The original was from the Austro-Hungarian Empire days and is in my room in a glass container. It's also made out of porcelain, not ceramic like these are."
Emily nodded in understanding, just wanting to not think about the Prussian anymore. The door bell rang, causing Hungary to answer. As she came back with the mail, she handed Austria a card that said "You're Invited" on it. Emily tilted her head in curiosity.
Hungary squealed, "Austria, the South American nations invited us to their party this weekend!"
Emily was now extremely curious. "What party?"
Austria pushed his glasses up a bit and explained to the young girl, "It's probably one of the get togethers that our bosses asked us to do. It happens every once in a while and the hose always changes. I guess this time all of South America got to do this one."
Hungary looked at Austria with big puppy eyes, "Can we go?"
Austria chuckled, "Of course."
Hungary and Emily started doing a "victory" dance while chanting "We're going to a party!"
Austria just starred at them, wondering what he got himself into.
