Oh my when you guys review its fantastic! Man they are so heartwarming! Thank you so so much, I loved them so much I'm posting this ASAP for ya'll. I hope its good.
Steve had a hard time falling asleep, something just wasn't sitting right in his stomach. Alarm bells were going off in his head, what Danny would call his 'Spidey senses'. Steve always seemed to know when something wasn't right or feel when something awful was about to happen. He looked over at his side table and grabbed his phone dialing Danny's number. He frowned when Danny didn't pick up and it went to voice mail. He redialed again. "Come on Danny pick up." But Danny didn't pick up his voice mail coming on again. Steve frowned as his heart started to feel heavy.
He walked down stairs going to his kitchen he grabbed a glass of water. He tried to swallow but it seemed to go down dry causing him to cough. His partner in the back of his mind. 'Maybe I should go check on him?' He asked himself pulling out his phone once again. He ended the call when all he got was Danny's voice mail again. "Damn it." He wished Danny would just pick up and say something, anything, he didn't care because he had a bad filling in his gut about something. "Well, since you wont pick up I'll just come over." Steve said as he picked up his truck keys off of the small table as he went out the door.
It didn't take long for Steve to pull in front of Danny's home, his Silver Camaro was in the driveway letting Steve know that he was home at least. Better than being out at some bar getting waisted. Steve got out of his truck looking at the house as he jogged over to Danny's door.
Knocking he called out. "Danny! Hey buddy, open up!" He looked into the window next to the door, but since the lights were off in the living room it was hard for Steve to see anything. Steve walked away from the door only a few steps picking up a gnome, flipping it upside down revealing a key taped to the bottom. "And he tells me not to keep my spare key outside where anyone could find it."
Grabbing the key he went back to the door unlocking it he went inside. "Danny? Where you at buddy?" He called out once again as he looked around the small living room. His SEAL alarm bells went off in his head as he saw the broken TV. He looked towards the hallway seeing a light on he started over to it his gut in a knot. "Danno!"
The door to the bathroom was partly open only a foot Steve's fear that something had happened only growing. Steve pushed the door open the rest of the way his heart skipping a few beats as his eyes landed on his partner. Danny was in a full tub of red water and looked white as a ghost his right wrist hanging limply over the side. The smell of copper and vomit hit Steve's noise burning it. Steve loved it when he was right but this time he hated himself and wished this time he would have been dead wrong. Steve flew over to his best friend looking down at him, the water was so red and Danny the wrist that was hanging limply over the tub blood dripping into the white ties turning them a dark shade of red. "Oh my God, Danny!"
Steve kneeled next to the tub not caring that he was getting blood on his jeans as he checked Danny's ice cold neck for a pulse. "No no no...you don't get to do this Danny." Steve held his breath waiting for the sign of life...his friend, the best friend he ever had couldn't be dead...could he? There..he felt it, very faintly was a thump. "Thank you." Steve said as he grabbed hold of Danny under his pits and pulled him out of the blood red water. Steve lowered him gently to the cold tiles. He looked around for anything to stop the blood free flowing from his friends veines.
Above the toilet was some hand towels and bath towels. Steve got to his feet running and grabbing all the ones he could his feet slipping slightly, his shoes bottoms covered in blood. He fell back to Danny's side. Taking out his knife he started to shred the towels into strips. He quickly wrapped Danny's bleeding wrist tightly slowing the blood flow. After he tapped the side of Danny's face. "Danny...Danny?" He called hoping beyond hope that Danny would give him a sign of life but he remained still. "Come on buddy open your eyes for me."
When Danny still didnt stir he fished in his pocket grabbing his phone he dialed 911.
"Operator how may I help you?" A woman's voice asked.
"Yes this is Commander Steve McGarrett with Five-0, I have an officer down and I need an ambulance at 905 North Hunolilo ASAP." Steve told the woman putting his fingers back on Danny's neck. "His pulse is slow and he's lost a lot of blood..."
"Ambulance is on route sir. Is he breathing?"
"Barely." He told her as he watched Danny's chest slowly rise and fall as he stayed unresponsive. "How far away are they?"
"Five to Ten minutes."
"He can't wait that long! He need's a hospital now!" Steve yelled to the woman.
"I'm sorry sir, there was a fire at an apartment building and there is was slight delay."
"Slight? Never mind! I'll get him there myself!" Steve yelled at her once again as he ended the call. Looking down at Danny he knew he needed to get him to the hospital soon if he was to live. The towels he had around Danny's wrist were turning red now as his life force seeped though. Steve looked around and grabbing Danny's pants he struggled as he put them on his wet lifeless buddy. "Don't want the nurse's to laugh do we Danno?" He told him with a slight smile on his face knowing how Danny would react. He could almost hear his repone as Steve laughed.
Steve picked Danny's small limp body up and hurried with him out of the house. Opening the back door he slid Danny into the back as carefully as he could. Turning on his lights he sped down the road like a mad man, and was satisfied that since it was so late not many people were on the road. Steve gave a quick glance in the back at his friend, guilt settling into the bottom of his stomach. "I knew I shouldn't have left you alone." Steve told his unresponsive friend, he could feel tears burning in the back of his eyes. "How could you be so stupid Danny? I mean taking the easy way out? Are you that stupid that you think Grace would want that?" If Danny wasn't so badly off he would beat him within an inch of his life for this. "I don't want a new partner Danny, so you better be ok. And besides who would I drive around then hu?"
Once at the hospital Steve carried Danny inside placing him on the first gurney he saw as nurses ran over to him. "What happened?" One of them asked.
"Attempted suicide, slit his wrist." Steve told her his voice breaking not believing the words that just left his mouth as Danny was wheeled into a room. How could Danny do this to himself, to Steve, Chin and Kono. Did he not stop to think that he still had a mother and father? Did he not think about what that would do to them? His sisters?
And that reminded Steve that he needed to call Chin and Kono while he waited for a doctor.

After what felt like forever a doctor came down the hall. "Steve McGarrett?" He called out looking around.
Steve walked over to him worry in his eyes. "Yes sir. How is he?"
The doctor nodded. "Well Mr. Williams is in ICU receiving blood transfusions. We stopped the bleeding in his wrist, cleaning and stitched them up. He's not out of the woods yet, but thanks to your fast thinking he's got a good chance. Has Mr. Williams had a history of attempts like this one? I understand that officers like yourselves can be under a lot of stress." The doctor asked concern in his voice.
"No. Never...He just lost his daughter." Steve told the man.
"I see..well when Mr. Williams is better I think it would be best to have him evaluated, for his own safely and everyone else." The doctor informed Steve sadly. "I hate to see a young man such as Mr. Williams loose so much but it does happen. We will be keeping for a psych eval for 21 days, he's in restraints now. "
"Danny doesn't need to be evaluated! He would never hurt anyone else and I'm sure he will never try this again. I'll make sure of that. Besides he can't handle closed in spaces." Steve told the doctor getting angry.
"I'm sure you believe that but for his own safety, I think it would be best. I've seen men like him go off their rockers and he shows the same signs."
"Same signs? And you know that how? Just by looking at him for ten minutes! No offense but you don't know shit sir." Steve told the doctor his blue eyes showing fire. 'Who does this doctor think he is?' Steve said to himself feeling a strong urge to punch the doctor.
"Steve!" Chin called out jogging down the hall with Kono behind worry on their faces. "How is he?"
"He will be fine." Steve told them not looking away from the doctor. "Can I see him now?"
