Hey everybody! I'm back! I have an important message at the end of this chapter, but hey, first you have to suffer through- I mean, enjoy my story! So... what are you waiting for? Read.
Pokemon is owned by the beautiful Game Freak and Nintendo. Percy Jackson and The Heroes of Olympus is owned by The Amazing Rick Riordan, does whatever an author can.
Chapter 3: Reunited
Silena's POV
In the morning Serena let all four of us out of our Poké Balls, but Castor and Solomon were still kind of tired, so she returned them. Nintendo and I walked alongside Serena as she and Shauna, who had elected to stay with us, made their way through the forest. We passed by a girl who looked about Serena's age, and Serena stopped as the girl approached her.
"Hi." Serena said.
"Hi." The girl said. "Do you want to have a battle?"
Serena blinked. "Um, sure."
"Alright!" The girl said, grinning. "Go, Pikachu!"
She threw out her Poké Ball and a Pikachu was released in a flash of light. It looked almost identical to Nintendo, except this one had a notch in its tail, making it look like a heart.
"Alright Silena, you're up." I walked forward and faced the Pikachu.
From the sidelines Nintendo called, "Be careful when you use a physical attack! She might have Static!"
"Thanks for the heads up!" I said.
"Hey, I didn't catch your name." Serena said to her opponent.
"Oh, it's Anna-Lise," she said, "but you can just call me Anna."
"Okay, well you can have the first move, Anna." Serena said.
"Pikachu, use Growl!" The Pikachu growled at me, trying to be fierce, but it was like watching a puppy growl as it played with it's favorite toy. Suddenly, I felt uncomfortable with the idea of hurting her.
"Silena use Tackle!" Serena yelled. I did as she asked but I couldn't help holding back a little. When I ran into Pikachu, I felt a little zap. It wasn't enough to hurt me, but suddenly moving became a lot more difficult.
Anna told her Pikachu to use Thundershock and Serena cried, "Dodge it!" I struggled to move out of the way as the Pikachu send out a small bolt of electricity towards me. I was able to get far enough away that it was only a glancing blow, but it still hurt nonetheless.
"Use Iron Tail." Serena commanded. I tried to jump forward and smash my tail into Pikachu, but I couldn't move.
"Why… can't… I… move?!" I said through gritted teeth. Even speaking was suddenly difficult.
"You got paralyzed." Nintendo said. "You're going to have to focus if you want to move."
I got hit by another Thundershock and black spots started dancing in front of my eyes. Trying to focus, I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, and suddenly the numbness in my limbs ceased. I opened my eyes, startled. Serena, Anna, Nintendo, and Pikachu looked just as stunned as I was.
"What happened?" I asked Nintendo.
"You just used Refresh. It removes all negative status effects." He said.
"Huh. I didn't know I could use that."
"I don't think any of us did." He said with a chuckle.
Anna, quickly getting over her surprise, yelled, "Pikachu take it down with another Thundershock!"
"Dodge," Serena said, "and use Iron Tail." I leapt out of the way, and as I landed, I sprang forward and did a front flip, bringing my tail down on Pikachu's head. I landed on my back and rolled to the side as Pikachu slumped forward, knocked out cold.
"Alright!" Serena cheered as I walked back over to her, panting. That had been a little too close for comfort.

Castor's POV
I walked around my Poké Ball, listening to the battle Serena and Silena were having. From the sound of it, Silena had won.
Suddenly, the room shook and dissolved.I blinked and when I opened my eyes again, I was on the battlefield. I shook my head, still not used to being sent out of my Poké Ball. I turned and found myself staring at a grey rabbit, with brown-tipped ears. I supposed this was my opponent.
"Alright Castor, use Vine Whip." Serena commanded. I obliged, beating my opponent into the ground with the vines.
"Bunnelby, use Cut to free yourself!" Anna yelled. Bunnelby's ears started to glow white. It slashed them through the vines with ease and landed on the ground. Even in the short time I had been here, I had learned to take things like the laws of physics with a grain of salt, so I just shook my head.
'Ok, he has sword ears. Next.' I thought, and ducked as his ears of death slashed at my face.
"Bunnelby, use Mud Slap to make it harder for him to see." Anna called. Bunnelby's ears started glowing brown and before I could react, he slapped me in the face. I staggered back, rubbing my eyes to try and get the mud out.
"Are you alright Castor?" Serena asked. I turned my head towards where I thought her voice was coming from and nodded. "Ok, then use Tackle!" I lunged forward… and fell flat on my face.
"Use Quick Attack Bunnelby!" I felt him slam into my side and send me flying. I landed on the ground with a thump, and got to my feet.
"Remember the camp training sessions Castor!" Silena yelled from the sidelines.
'Oh yeah!' I thought, remembering how we had practiced fighting blindfolded back at Camp Half-blood. I shut my eyes and focused on using my ears to pinpoint Bunnelby's location. I heard Anna yelling at Bunnelby to use Cut again and then I heard him hopping towards me.
I turned towards the noise and, without even waiting for a command, launched myself in another Tackle. I felt myself slam into him, felt his ears slicing up my back, and then everything went black.
Now freeze! Fast forward, oh, give or take ten minutes- right there's good. Now switch point of view to Serena, there you go. And resume!
Serena's POV
Shauna and I walked along the forest path, listening to the Pokémon around us. I wasn't really paying too much attention, though. I was thinking about the battle with Anna, mostly Castor's part. Shauna had healed him and Silena for me after the battle.
Even though he hadn't been knocked out, Bunnelby's health had been lowered to the point where it was an easy K.O. for Solomon, but that wasn't what intrigued me. I couldn't help remembering how Castor had reacted without me giving him a command. That could be really useful if I could get my other Pokémon to do that.
"Hey, Celia." Shauna said suddenly. "Isn't that the exit up ahead?"
"Yeah, I think it is!" I replied, growing excited.
"There you are!" A voice said behind us. We turned and saw the boys jogging towards us.
"What happened?" I teased Calem. "You guys get lost?"
"As if." He scoffed. "We were just catching some more Pokémon."
"Anyway," Tierno said, "We only have a little farther to go until we reach Santalune City. Wanna all go out at the same time? It'd look cool."
I nodded. "Sure. I mean it's not like anyone's watching us, but I think it'll feel symbolic, you know?"
"On three." Trevor said. "One, two, three!"
We all ran out of the forest, forming a V like the Swanna did as they flew south for the winter. Outside, we came to a stop outside a small pond.
"Well, see you guys in town." Tierno and Shauna said, and then they rushed off.
"That was somewhat abrupt." Trevor said.
"Somewhat." Calem agreed. "You going to stay here and catch some Pokémon, Celia?"
"I'm not sure." I replied. "I'm definitely going to see what else there is here."
"Mhm. Well, good hunting!" He said, before walking down the path with Trevor.
A few minutes later… Probably like, seven. Yeah, that seems reasonable. Right? That's reasonable.
I walked into the Pokémon Center, which Tierno had helpfully pointed me towards.
"Hello and welcome to the Pokémon Center!" Nurse Joy said, smiling brightly.
"Hi." I said. "Can you heal my Pokémon please?"
"Of course! May I have your Poké Balls for a moment please?"
I handed her my four Poké Balls. Nurse Joy set them in little indents in a machine and nodded to a Chansey and an Audino standing behind a computer. Audino typed some commands into the computer and Chansey pushed a button. All four Poké Balls started to glow with a warm light.
While this was happening, I walked over to another counter.
"Welcome to the Pokémart. If you see anything that interests you, don't hesitate to buy it." The man behind the counter recited, sounding bored.
'At least Nurse Joy put some effort in her lines.' I thought as I knelt down to examine the merchandise. I had enough for ten Poké Balls, so I restocked.
"Ten Poké Balls and one Premier Ball. Your total is-"
"Hold on." I protested. "I didn't pick up a Premier Ball."
"When you buy ten Poké Balls, you get a Premier Ball as an added bonus."
"Oh. Thank you." I said.
"Your total comes out to 2000 Pokedollars." I paid him, then collected my Pokémon from Nurse Joy.
"We hope to see you again!" She said, then she blushed. "Actually, that sounds really bad. Good luck on your adventure!"
I started towards the doors, but then I heard someone calling behind me.
"Excuse me! Wait a moment, please!" I turned and saw a man in a postman's uniform walking towards me.
"Are you Serena?" He asked.
"Last I checked, yeah."
"I have a special package for you. Here you go!" He said handing me a Cherish Ball with an inscription on the top: Κάρολος.
"Thanks." I said, and walked outside. I sent out Silena and Castor first.
"We have a new addition to the team, you two." I tossed the Cherish Ball into the air. It opened and released a flash of light that changed into a Torchic. The Torchic looked at Silena and Castor for a few seconds. Then Silena tackled him.
Backing up… Backing up… Backing up… Backing up… Backing up… Backing up… Backing up… Backing up… Backing up… Backing up… Backing up… Backing up…
Wait, that's too far!
Silena's POV
Serena released Castor and I, and told us she had a new addition to our team. She threw a solid red Poké Ball, which let out an orange chick, the chicken kind. He looked at me, and I looked at him. He seemed so familiar… Then he spoke.
"Silena?" He asked in amazement.
I gasped. "Charlie!" I cried and rushed towards him.
Is that a cliffhanger or not? Ah, it doesn't really matter. I realized that I have two important announcements. Actually I'm just going to relay a message from the Pokemon gods. I'm sure many of you already know this, but OMEGA RUBY AND ALPHA SAPPHIRE HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED! (Has heart attack and dies, but Jason runs in, uses Thunder and restarts heart) IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL! And now I have some news I have mixed feelings about. The school year is pretty much over so I have to turn my school computer in today. Unfortunately, I've been typing up all these chapters on said school computer. I can still type them on Google Drive with my home computer, but it's really slow. So updates might be few and far between this summer. Until the next unsheathing, this is Fantasysword92375, returning to his scabbard.
