On the battlefield

A/N: This battle is based on true events on the game.

Aphrodite, Loki and Janus (with Fenrir) came back home safely with amazing news. The other pantheons agreed to join the war. Time has passed and the war only got worst with volcanos irrupting, Chaos and destruction. The lands now are unstable and ready to crumble. The enemy team also had a new pantheon that joined them but after seeing their destruction, they joined us instead. The pantheon was savage looking but it's their culture and we respect the Mayan Pantheon. Though the enemy learnt magic that copies a God's/Goddess's image and powers (cloning). Another battle is about to take place and I look at the composition of my team: Ullr, me (Athena), Isis, Serqet and Hel. Huge potential but without roots there won't be any growth. I brought my items and go to ward the jungle. After that, I went to meet Ullr ready at the speed camp with Isis. The Goddess of Magic was very mysterious to me as she doesn't try to communicate with others but her own. Perhaps it's just the culture barrier? Anyway they just finished killing the monsters and made their way to their positions. We went for the Purple camp and I started to tank the damage as Ullr assist me in killing them. I decided to ask Ullr a question. "What do you see in him anyway?" Serqet asked to Hel the same time I asked "Why do you like Hel so much?" They were clearly not expecting that. Ullr thinks about his answer while Hel replied (in Dark Stance) with "Because he is him".

He loves me, She trusts me, He's loyal, She's honest, He's my dream, She takes my breath away, He's the best looking guy, No woman makes me nervous but her, His smell is intoxicating, She smells amazing, When he's around all I can see is him, All I can feel is her, He's the best, She's amazing, There's no woman on this earth like her, There's no reason but him, She's the reason I love her, I don't want anything but him, All I need is her love, His care, Her time, Him/Her and the most important "I love HIM/HER."

Honestly I don't know his personality to judge him but he seems trustworthy enough to maintain a relationship and not cheat on Hel. We made our way to the lane and killed a few warriors but things got really interesting when Xbalanque (Evil clone) and Aphrodite (Evil clone) entered the lane. Ullr threw his axe at Xbalanque , stunning him. Aphrodite went to block the incoming shots from him but I used 'Confound' to redirect their attention to me "Over here!". I rush forward and impale my spear into Aphrodite, slowing her retreat by playing tug-o-war with her arm. Ullr shot arrows made from the northern lights. He released his charged arrow on his bow and penetrated Xbalanque and hit Aphrodite. He shot one more volley of arrows into the sky where it shot through their skull and got a double kill. We continue to kill their soldiers until they came back, their tower now half in ruins. I assist Ullr a few minutes more before I made my way to Isis's lane. There was a camp of monsters that has sacks of gold coins in their possession, stolen from the Gods ourselves. We kill them and collect the gold. I made my way to the battleground where I found Nu Wa coming at us. I charge myself for a dash hitting the enemy Nu Wa and getting a hold on her arm. She's not going anywhere soon. I summon a formation of soldiers to attack while I use 'Confound' again and got her low enough where Serqet pounded on her from the jungle and kill her. Suddenly the lights went out and the whole world was shrouded in darkness. I prepare my war jump and launch myself to Ullr. "Reinforcement on the way" I landed beside Ullr and started blocking the bolas with my shield. Aphrodite flinched at the head of Medusa and I summon a rally of soldiers and 'Confound' them again. Ullr shoot a charged arrow through them while my soldiers slashed their swords and exploding in their faces. They stagger back and started to retreat. I dash again and impale Xbalanque, I grabbed his shirt slowing his retreat. Ullr shot a volley of arrows into his skull killing him instantly. Aphrodite was already too far away. We retreated back and teleported to base. There was fountain that healed our wounds. We shop and continue our advance. I went back to Isis's lane to help her with Nu Wa. Nu wa was getting feisty. Ullr returned to his lane and took down their tower. I recalled my warriors to battle again and 'Confound' Nu Wa but she resisted the spell with a glow. She summons soldiers out from the ground and they begin wracking on me. Hel was yelling for assistance as Bakasura ambushed her from the jungle. I prepare my war jump but Nu Wa shot a shining object at me. Hitting her soldiers they exploded and stunned me. Isis shot a ball of spirit energy at her but she floated to the left and avoided it. I was now low health and began to retreat. Hel died to Bakasura and was now making his way towards us which was alerted to me by Hel. The map confirms this and I dash away to safety. Nu Wa ascends to the sky and rain now fire upon us. Its aim was true and hit my back as I retreat, it also killed me.

Death for the gods is not permanent but that did not make it any less painful. I was floating in an endless void. Hel was floating next to me, watching the on-going battle. A hole appeared in front of us that suck everything and threw us on the medical ward beds. Here, healers tend to our wounds so we are ready for the next battle. However the longer we are in the grounds, the longer it takes to heal us and longer time in the medical ward. After healing, we went out again into the fray that was now out of control. Hel's tower is half destroyed and Isis was holding things on her own. I brought my things and hurried back to my waiting teammates. "Enemies missing" yelled Isis. I went to check on the camp where a golden bird was minding its own business before Nu Wa and Aphrodite floated into the scene. "Enemies at the Gold Furry." I rush in there and killed the bird before they did. I retreated back to safety hen suddenly an explosion hit me and I fell forwards on all fours. I quickly recovered until Aphrodite kissed me and I was stuck in a dazed. They continue to wreck me until back up has arrived and I made my way back to base. Nu Wa ascends to the skies again and hit me but didn't manage to kill me this time. "An Ally has been slain" What? Ullr's icon on the map disappears as he dies, curses. I teleported back and sat in the fountain where the holy waters healed me. I checked the map again. Right towers are still standing, their second tower on our left is almost destroyed and their center line of defenses is crumbling.

"Message for the Goddess of Wisdom!"

I turn to see Mercury standing beside me with his satchel holding an envelope out to me. I took it and he was gone with only the sound of a sonic boom and me spinning around left me disorientated. Inside was a letter from the God Odin. That old bastard had some guts to have sent me a message. Through Hermes too! It read:

Greetings and respects to the Goddess of Wisdom.

Athena, I hope the war treated you kindly. The times like this is when you think back and recollect what you have been doing is actually benefited anything. So I decided to surrender myself. You may imprison me or I can fight by your side in the war. I want a treaty and will be waiting for you at the Meeting place in 10 minutes.

If I go now, who will support my allies? If I don't go, Odin will think I have declined the offer. I will have to send someone else to represent me. "Chang'e!" The Faerie of the Moon turned to me. I pass her the letter. "Help!" I heard a bird's crawl. I look to my map to see Isis was surrounded by enemies. "Reinforcements on the way!"

Isis's P.O.V

I clutched to my broken wing. There was no way I will make this. "Reinforcements on the way!" I rushed forward and slam my staff into the ground. A circle was produced from the light reflecting of my staff. Athena landed beside me and used her shield. To my right was Bakasura, to my left was Nu Wa. "Silence!" I felt the rush of power armoring me as I rush towards Bakasura. The demon jumped on top of me. "Face me!" I begin my retreat as Athena direct it elsewhere. I round the corner and threw my 'Spirit ball' to stun them and help Athena back to base. We were both bleeding heavily and I let her lean on me while I half carry, half drag her to a safe spot. From there with teleport back but something was off. The flow of enemy warriors has stopped along with ours.

Chang'e P.O.V

I made my way to the Meeting place floating into the area. It was dimly lit and the only lighted torch was casting long shadows on the floor and walls. I reached the table and sat down opposite Odin. His face was one of disappointment but it quickly change to that of aggressive. I held my hands in the surrender pose and approached carefully. This was going to be interesting.

"Where's Athena?"

"She was on duty for the war today so she sent us" My rabbit replied

'sign' "Ok I was here to talk to Athena on letting me have a second chance, I made so many mistakes. I patted his hand in an attempt to comfort him and listen. "My family is now so broken because of me" I understand his pain. The pain of losing a loved one, it's unbearable. He rubbed his eyes in an attempt to hide his tears. "I have found more Gods and Goddesses to help us fight." I perked at this. "They're in that room" I hugged the broken man before gliding to the doors. I entered the room to an arrow to my face and darkness. The only thing I heard before was "What have I done?!" I thought it was him.

Back to the War

"The enemy have retreated their troops" said Ullr

"This is the perfect time to strike their Titan" Hel replied

"It's too easy! This is a trap." Athena backup

"Athena's right, we should defend the Temple" supported Isis

"They say poison is a woman's weapon… but I say" The poison goddess to team "Would you like some tea?"
