Hey! I'm back with a new chapter!
Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom!

"-due next week. Class is dismissed!" The bell rang just as Mr. Lancer finished. The students of Casper High quickly streamed out of the classroom and into the wide hallways. Among the crowd of adolescents trying to get to their last class of the day were three teens known as Team Phantom.
Sam and Tucker exchanged looks as they watched their friend grow more and more apprehensive with each step toward Ghost Class. They couldn't do much to calm Danny down. Even though he was going a little overboard with the worry, he was justified in it. After all, this class might very well be the thing that finally exposed his secret.
When they sat down in their seats, Danny noticed Valerie staring at him. He grinned at her before quickly trying to look absorbed in the contents of his binder. When he felt her intense gaze lift, he lifted his head, only for a snake-like wisp of blue tinged air to swirl out of his mouth. He dashed out of the room just as the period started. When the Fenton parents walked in, they immediately took notice of their son's absence. Frowning, Maddie turned to Sam and Tucker. "Why isn't my son here?"
Sam frantically racked her brain for an acceptable cover story. "He…he wasn't feeling very well, so he probably went to the nurse."
"Well then, maybe I should go check on him," Jack said.
"All right honey, I'll conti-"
"NO! Don't go! Um…we'll go check on Danny!" Sam yelled.
"Yeah! We're his best friends! Uh…besides the class needs you!" Tucker and Sam sprinted out the door.
The Fenton parents stared after them, a little startled by the suddenness of their words. "Well, honey, Tucker is right. We do have the class to teach." Maddie frowned. "I really hope Danny's all right, though."

20 minutes later:
"Now class, as you can see, we belie-"
"Let go of me!"
Skulker, equipped with the latest weapons, had appeared in the middle of the room, holding a battered and bruised Danny Phantom by the neck. Jack and Maddie immediately reacted, bringing out ecto-guns from underneath the teacher's desk. They pointed them at the two ghosts, which the larger of the two sneered at. "Ah, the ghost child's-" He was cut off by a kick from Danny.
At this, Skulker simply looked amused. "You mean you still haven't told them?"
Danny tried to phase out of the robotic ghost's grasp, but Skulker's hand glowed and tightened around his neck.
"Let me give them an update then, halfa. The whelp here," at this, he shook Danny, "happens to be only half ghost. I'm sure you oh so intelligent ghost hunters can figure the rest out on your own."
Skulker laughed and threw Danny into the wall before flying away. Total silence reigned as the entire room's occupants stared at the dazed halfa. Suddenly, Sam spoke up. "Phantom, what did he mean you were a halfa?"
Tucker quickly caught on. "Yeah, Phantom. Do you have a secret you want to hide?"
Those words effectively jolted Amity's hero out of his stupor. "Hello, um… citizens! ...Bye!" And with those words he phased through the floor. As soon as he left, the room burst into excited chatter, everyone too busy with the new piece of news to notice two students stealthily exit the class.

Valerie's P.O.V:
I sprinted out of the room to "transform" into the Red Huntress. Once I did, I ran back to the classroom, about to equip my hoverboard when I caught a snippet of the ongoing conversation.
"The ghost child's-", the words were suddenly cut off. Cautiously I peeked around the doorframe into the room.
Phantom was in a robotic ghost's grip, Ghost X, I believe. The two of them were floating in the middle of the room, Ghost X holding the other specter at arm's length by the neck. He looked like he was enjoying every second of the situation. Phantom attempted to phase out of the larger ghost's hand, but it glowed and tightened around his neck. Ghost X looked like he was enjoying every second of the situation.
"Let me give them an update then, halfa," Ghost X announced. "The whelp here," at this, he shook Phantom, "happens to be only half ghost. I'm sure you oh so intelligent ghost hunters can figure the rest out on your own."
He cackled and threw Phantom into the wall before disappearing. The class was silent as the entire room's occupants stared at the dazed ghost. Suddenly, Sam spoke up. "Phantom, what did he mean you were a halfa?"
Tucker joined in. "Yeah, Phantom. Do you have a secret you want to hide?"
Those words seemed to have a visible effect on the dazed ghost on the floor. "Hello, um… citizens! ...Bye!" And with those words he phased through the floor. As soon as he left, the room burst into excited chatter, everyone chattering about the newest piece of gossip.
Sam and Tucker quietly walked towards me. Uh oh. I quickly deactivated my suit and pretended I was just walking into the classroom. Sam stopped in the hallway and stared suspiciously at me, about to say something, but Tucker tugged on her arm and whispered something in her ear. She nodded, and after shooting a glare at me, the two of them turned and walked away.
I stared at their backs as they walked down the hallway. From the way the two of them had acted, I was sure they knew something about Phantom that I didn't. Something important. And I was going to find out what it was.
