Heller people! Again, this chapter is a flashback. Also, I want to start replying to some of your reviews.
1questingdreamer: Thank you very much. If you look at chapter one, you see that I said her name. I haven't used it because I was writing in Jason's POV. But thank you for the advice.
SmilesBurnInTheStyx: Thank you so much for your continuing support and constructive criticism.
Anyway, on with the story.
The next morning after beating Jason again in basketball, Piper stood outside the school building, and waited for the school bell to ring. She spotted the school principal Dr. Chiron, and ran up to him. "HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY DR. CHIRON!" she yelled. The principal jumped with fright but relaxed when he turned to Piper's smiling face. "Good Morning Piper," he replied. Piper took out a bracelet, and tied it around his arm. "What's this," he asked confused. "It's a friendship bracelet. For friendship day," Piper filled him in. "Oh," the principal replied still confused. "Can you do me a favor," Chiron inquired. "Sure anything," Piper answered. "I have a daughter, her name is Reyna, and she's from San Francisco. She just moved here this week, and she's coming here to complete her senior year," Chiron started, "I was hoping if you could be a friend to her? You know help her out, show her around?" Piper smiled, "Sure Dr. Chiron," she said. Just then, the bell rang. She started to walk in, she heard two girls conversing. They said:
"Oh my God guess what"
"What?"
"Jason gave me a friendship bracelet today. He said I'm the only one"
"No way! Oh my God"
Piper just shook her head and thought, idiots. She stormed into the building in search of Jason. She spotted him in a corner with a girl in his arms.
Jason was happy. It was only nine a.m., and he has already given friendship bracelets to more than five girls. They're too easy, he thought. "I love you," he said to the girl. "Really," she asked. "Yes. That's why I'm giving only you this bracelet Delilah." The girl stood abruptly. "Delilah? My name is Drew," she exclaimed. Shit, he mentally cursed. "I just got so lost in your eyes that I forgot your name," he said. He smirked as he brought her back into his embrace.
Piper marched up to him. She was about to tap him when she stopped herself. She had a better plan. She pulled Jason's friendship bracelets out of his back pockets. "Jason," she called, "you dropped these." Jason and Drew both turned. Drew's face lit up with realization. "You cheat," she said while she kicked him in the groin. Piper burst out laughing. She smirked as she helped him up. "Jason, Jason, Jason," she said still smirking, "when will you learn to stop chasing after these dumb girls." Jason turned around and said, "I don't chase after-," he stopped himself, "Well maybe I do, but they don't mean anything." Piper rolled her eyes. "Then why do you do it." Jason replied, "I'm doing this until I find her."
Piper again rolled her eyes. "Who is her?" she asked impatiently. Jason shook his head and said, "The one." He seemed to go off into a different world as he began to describe her. "She has beautiful flowing hair," he began, "her eyes are soft as the moon, when she walks, the world looks on," he continued on. Piper zoned out as he went on and on. When she had enough, she interrupted him. "You keep saying she," she pointed out, "how will you know when you find her." Jason smirked and said, "Something will happen in my heart, you don't understand." Piper for the third time rolled her eyes, and started to walk away.
Jason stopped her and said jokingly, "Then, I will spread my arms wide, and say I love you." But as he said that, he bumped into a raven haired girl. He turned around, and saw the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. She was everything he had described, and was wearing a short tight skirt that displayed her figure perfectly. She left him dumbfounded. He was certain that she was the one. "I'm sorry," she said. "Don't be, I love you," Jason replied. "Excuse me," she said disgusted brushing past Jason.
Piper's face dawned with realization. "Reyna!" she exclaimed running after her. Reyna turned around confused. "How do you know my name," she asked. But before she could answer, Jason interrupted, "So Reyna, where are you from?" Reyna turned in surprise to Jason. "I'm from-"
"San Francisco," Piper interrupted. Reyna turned confused to Piper. "How did you know," Jason asked. "This morning, the principal-," she began, but Jason cut her off. "Please don't bring up that old bald grouch," he answered. Reyna raised an eyebrow, but remained silent.
Just then, Dr. Chiron walked up to them. When he eyed Reyna's outfit, his mood darkened. "You know the rule about modesty in this school," he said sternly to her. "I know, I do, it's just that I just got here, and I didn't have enough time to unpack," she explained. "Reyna that is still no excuse. I have rules, and I expect them to be followed," he answered. "Sir, she just got here and didn't have time to unpack," Jason defended.
Dr. Chiron frowned. "Do you know this boy?" he asked. Dr. Chiron and Jason weren't exactly on the best terms. "Yes Dad," she replied. "WHAT," Jason nearly shrieked, "Did you just call him Dad?" Piper smirked and said, "Yes Dad as in father" Jason shot her a shut up look. As soon as Dr. Chiron left them, Jason pulled a bracelet out of his pocket. "Hey," he called to her, "I was saving this for someone special. Happy Friendship Day." Reyna smiled, and said, "We have just met. Friendship is a far thought." She waved goodbye to Piper and went on her way.
The bell for first period rang, and students were rushing to their classes. "So, did something happen in your heart," Piper teased. "Just shut up," he retorted, "Anyway, she's not my type." Piper rolled her eyes. "How do you expect to find 'the one' if you say that," she asked.
"Well, I could always marry you"
"Me? In your dreams."
"You know you want this"
"Please you're not even close"
They went back and forth as they walked to their next class.
So that brings us to the end of this chapter. It kinda sucked. I'll try harder next chapter. I was just so busy with everything. But anyway, please read and review and if you have any questions, comments, or constructive criticism, feel free to PM me or write it in the review. Also, to my desi homies that have seen the movie, who do you want to portray Salman Khan's character. Either Lit, Dylan, or an OC. You decide. That's it for now. BYYYYYYYEEEEEEE!
