Bunnymund felt sick. After seeing that...that brand marring Jack's torso, after hear him sing in a pained voice, after seeing all of his other scars and the bruises that blossomed like black flowers on a white canvas, all he could think of was how beautiful Jack's soul was still. How he wanted to draw it out.

He started to listen to Jack's voice again, when he realized that he had gone quiet. He sneakily peaked around the corner, and saw that Jack was already washing his face, and getting re-dressed. He got up as quietly as he could, then snuck out into the hallway. When he knew he was safe of not being heard, he ran.

He knew he couldn't be caught seeing that personal moment. Jack would never talk to him again-wait. Why does he care if Jack talks to him ever again? He's just a show-pony after all, right?

He shook all of his confusing thoughts out of his head, and continued out the front doors of the school.

He walked over to the table and sat next to Nick to finish his drawing project that was due that very day. He put a colored pencil to the paper and noticed that he was shaking to much to even think about drawing. He sighed and put down the pencil, running his hand through his hair. Nick, seeming to sense his distress, asked him what was wrong while the other two looked at him curiously.

"Guys, it's-"

He was interrupted by Jack who sat right next to him.

"Neva'mind." he mumbled while tucking his art book and pencils safely into his bag. Bunny, or Aster, briefly noticed that Jack was doing the same thing except for the notebook he seemed so protective and fond of.

When their bags were zipped, the bell rang. Everyone saw each other off, Nick hugged Jack which Bunny and Jack both winced at remembering and feeling the wounds, and went their separate ways.

Nick was annoying the teeth out of Toothiana! He was currently gnawing on his pencil in place of tapping his pencil, which he did in place of tapping all of his fingers on the desk.

"Nick! Cut. It. Out." she whispered in her deadly 'mother' tone.

"Oh! Sorry Tooth! I vill stop." he raised his hands while saying this in surrender.

Nick just couldn't get his mind off of that sick teacher and what he was doing to Jack. He knew that he could go to the room where the teacher was and wait for Jack, but, he didn't want Jack to see him either.

So, Nick finally settled on a 'Stalk Jack' plan. This plan includes North looking like he was waiting for someone by his open locker, pretend not to notice Jack, and then listen in onto their conversation.

Now, his plan has been working flawlessly. Now he waited inside the door by the giant cabinet, and just watched and listened.

Jack's current position was in front of the teachers desk. His backpack left by some desk.

"Well, Jackie, it seems as if you have a lot of work to make up, now, don't you?"

"Yes, sir." Jack answered with a little quiver in his voice. The teacher got up and walked around the desk to where Jack was. He grabbed his jaw lightly and started to speak again.

"You know, you are going to fail my class if you don't make these assignments up, yes?"

"Y-yes s-s-sir..."

"You don't want your 'daddy' to hear about that now do you?" Jack shook his head vigorously. "I am quite close with him, you know that, don't you."

"Y-y-yes si-ir." Jack sounded on the verge of tears.

"That's right. So don't tell anyone about this, got it?" he said while leaning in towards Jack's lips, his free hand gripping his hip.

"N-no sir. I-I won't t-tell anyo-one. I swear..." Jack promised his voice quivering pitifully. This only made the teacher's smirk grow wider.

"Tell me you love me Jackie boy." The teacher demanded lightly, pulling them closer so that their pelvises were touching.

Just as Jack opened his mouth, Nick jumped out from behind the cabinet.

"Jack, don't you say a vord to zis garbage!" Nick raged.

The teacher pulled away from Jack, and stood in front of him. Leaving Jack to peak over his shoulder.

"What do you think you're doing in my office Mr. North!"

"I came to take Jack home."

"Oh? And what if he doesn't want to go with you?"

"He can choose then." Nick scowled, knowing that the teacher was just going to make this harder.

"Fine." the teacher stepped away from Jack, and off to the side. "Choose who you would rather go with today, Frost. I don't have all day."

~~~~Jack's POV~~~~
I have seen Nick kind of a big brother recently. Just his big stature, jolly smile he aims at me in the halls, makes me feel warm and loved. I started to wonder, is this what a family is like? Is this how it feels?
Is Nick like a father? Like a little brother? No. Not that one. What about a big brother though? Yeah...at least I think so. I've never really had a family before so I wouldn't know.
So, when he jumped out of nowhere, stopping Mr. James and his advances toward me. I almost broke down right then and there, until I remembered that Mr. James would tell my dad. If I went with North back to my house, by that time he probably would've already called Johnson, he would be beaten. Right when he walked through the door.
When he was given a choice of who to choose, however, he had some hope that maybe he was free to go today.
