Emma's POV

Regina and Emma made their way to the parking lot where Regina's sleek black Escalade was parked.

"Are you going to be following me in your car Emma?" Regina said as she made her way to her car, unlocking it.

I shuffled my feet for a second before sheepishly scratching the back of my neck. "Umm actually as soon as you left the diner I kinda took off running and left my car there."

Regina sighed while rubbing her forehead before nodding." Okay Emma get in the car."

I smiled and nodded my head but instead of going to the passenger side of the car I went to the driver's side and opened the door for Regina to get in.

She blushed and smiled but looked down for me not to notice which was the most adorable thing I've ever seen.

As soon as I got in the car I was lost in my thoughts, thoughts about Henry. Would he like me? How am I supposed to explain to him where I was? Would he accept me as his mother?

"Emma?" Regina said pulling me out of my head.

"Yeah?"

"We're here." She said nodding towards the windshield and that's when I noticed that we were in front of a school.

"Oh sorry, I guess I was even more lost in my thoughts then I realized." I said with a slight laugh.

Regina smiled for a second before becoming serious again. "Look Emma I believe that you're serious about making it up to me and being there for Henry but I don't think we should tell him who you are just yet."

When she said this my face fell and she noticed. "It's not because I don't want you to be his mother because I do but I think we should let him spend some time with you first."

At this I nodded, it made sense because he was just a little boy after all. "Ok, we could do that."

Regina nodded and reached for the door handle.

"Regina…" I said making her stop and face me with a curious look on her face. "What if he doesn't like me when I explain to him what happened." I said with a timid voice making her smile sadly at me.

"Of course he'll still like you; he is half me after-all." She said before opened the car door and making her way out. I sat there for a few seconds before following her lead.

We made our way into the school building before coming to a stop in front of a door at the end of the hall.

Mrs. Blanchard – Pre K

"So my mom is a preschool teacher?" I asked smiling.

Regina returned the smile. "I guess her love for children didn't change." She said before lifting her hand and knocking on the door.

There was some movement on the other side before the door opened and there stood my mother who's face lit up as soon as she saw me as did mine.

Besides Regina, the person I missed most was my mom.

"Hi mom." I said grinning at her before she pulled me into a loving hug that I couldn't help but return before she pulled back and did the same to Regina.

She pulled away and sent us both a look of confusion. "What are you two doing here? School doesn't end until 12:00."

"I know but I figured that Emma could take today to meet Henry." Regina said sending me a small smile.

At this my mother's eyes lit up. "Oh of course!" She said before turning and calling Henry's attention who was in the back corner drawing something with another little girl.

As soon as I saw him I could feel my heart beating faster. When my mother called his attention and he saw Regina standing at the door, his whole face lit up and he started making his way over to us quickly.

"Mommy!" He said with a grin on his face as he finally reached us and wrapped his small arms around Regina's legs. "What you doing here?"

Regina grinned before scooping him up into her arms. "Well besides miss my favorite little man, I wanted you to spend the day with mommy and…" She trailed off looking slightly at me. "and a special friend of mine."

That's when Henry noticed that there was someone else there besides his mother and his grandmother.

Henry smiled at Emma before hiding his face in his mother's neck.

Emma grinned with tears in her eyes from being this close to her son. "Hi Henry, my name is Emma."

Henry removed himself from his mother's neck and saw Emma smiling at him so he returned the smile no longer shy. "Hello, I'm Henry Mills."

"How proper, definitely Regina's kid." Emma joked making the other two woman smile.

"I better return to my class." Mary Margaret said looking back inside the classroom.

"Oh of course, I'll just get Henry's backpack so we can go." Regina said before turning her attention to the boy who was looking at Emma with interest. "Emma do you mind watched Henry for a few minutes?"

When the woman shook her head, she put him on the ground next to Emma and smiled before turning and following Mary Margaret.

When Emma looked down at the boy in question, she found that he was still staring up at her.

"What? Do I have something on my face?" Emma joked making the boy grin at her while shaking his head.

"What are we gonna do today?" Henry asked curiously.

Emma squatted next to the boy, her son. "I dunno buddy because I'm not really from around here but maybe we can convince your mom to get some ice cream after lunch and maybe we could go to the park"

As soon as Emma mentioned the frozen treat, Henry's face automatically lit up. "Ice cream!"

"Yeah I like ice cream too." Emma grinned. "What's your favorite flavor?"

"Chocolate!"

"Really? Mine too."

"I like you Emma." Henry said grinning before wrapping his small arms around the woman.

Emma felt tears spring to her eyes while returning the hug. "I like you too buddy."

That's when both heard a throat clear behind them and turned to see Regina standing there with a small smile.

"Are you both ready to go?"

"Yeah! Mommy, Emma said maybe we can gets ice cream later."

"She did, did she." Regina said while shooting Emma a pointed look who just shrugged while grinning in response. "We'll see after lunch."

"Where do you guys wanna eat?"

"GRANNYS!" Henry exclaimed excitedly making both women laugh.

"Granny's it is then." Regina said and the three of them made their way back to Regina's car.

Regina put Henry in his booster seat and made sure he was buckled in. When she was done she noticed Emma next to her car door with it open. The raven haired woman couldn't hide her grin this time as Emma closed the door behind her before making her way to the other side.

The trio made their way to Granny's and when they got there, the first thing Emma noticed was the bug parked in one of the spots making her nervous.

As the three occupants of the car made their way inside the diner, Henry grabbed his mother's and Emma's hands making both women grin.

When they entered, the two older women saw Neal sitting on one of the stools.

Henry saw Red behind the counter and shouted her name making Neal turn and see Emma with the woman from earlier.

Neal stood and made his way over to the three and stared Emma in the eyes with a hard look on his face. "Tell me it's not true."

"Tell you what's not true?" Emma said in confusion.

"Tell me that you weren't engaged and that this isn't your son." Neal said angrily while nodding down to Henry who was staring up at the adults in confusion.

"What? You're my other mommy?" Henry asked while looking at Emma with confusion written all over his face.

Emma looked down at Henry not knowing what to say.
