A/N: I know there wasn't any Shego in the last chapter but I had to put that episode in ther but Shego has to stay with the Brotherhood for a bit.
Chapter IV
Kim VS The Brotherhood
Kim watched intently as her friends ran a Danger Room session. She noticed that they were working better ever since Anna/Rogue joined up. Thought she was still rather quiet she had made friends with Kim, Kitty, and Kurt.
"Hey Professor?" Kim asked.
"Yes?" Xavier asked.
"Do you think, I could run a session with these guys sometime? I mean, I may not be a mutant but I'm not exactly what you'd call normal."
"I see, what do you think?" he asked Logan and Ororo.
"I've seen her train, she could hold her own against Scott or Evan even if they used their powers." Ororo said.
"I admit her martial arts are good. Maybe she should run a session on her own first at a lower level." Logan said.
"Very well. You can run a session tomorrow afternoon." Xavier told her.
"Nice!" she said as the others walked out. "Hey anyone want to hit Bueno Nacho with me for lunch?"
"I'm in!" Kitty said.
"Me to." Kurt said turning his inducer on.
"Anna?" Kim asked.
"Sure why not? I kinda like their salad."
"Who's this?" Monique asked when Kim and her friends arrived to meet her and Ron at their regular booth.
"This is my new friend Anna." Kim said.
"Isn't she the Goth we saw sitting with that green girl a few weeks ago?" Ron asked.
"Shego?" Anna asked.
"Is that her name?" Monique asked.
"Yeah." Anna said. "We go to the same school and we used to hang out."
"Used to?" Monique asked.
"We had a falling out." Anna said. "I used to live at the Brotherhood Boarding House. I only joined the Institute a couple weeks ago. They don't exactly get along."
"Why?"
"Beats me." Anna said.
Later…
"You didn't seem shocked at Ron's eating." Kitty said to Anna.
"I lived with Blob, remember?"
"Right, sorry about that."
"I still don't see what's so bad about those guys." Kim said as they took a shortcut through a construction site, and where confronted by the Brotherhood all in their battle suits.
Quicksilver wearing a light blue bodysuit that covered his whole body with a pale blue stripe going down the front, a white chest plate with matching shoulder pads. Lastly he wore sleek knee-high white combat shoes with white knee pads.
Avalanche wore a full navy blue bodysuit with maroon accents and a high collar. He wore silver colored body armor and shoulder plates over it. His boots had metal plates attached and he wore gauntlets over his arms. He also wore a helmet of a clear material.
Blob wore a frayed green army vest with a collar and pockets on the front with matching green army cargo pants that are tucked into thick brown combat boots. He wears a tan tank top underneath the vest and silver metal cuffs on each wrist.
Toad wore a green bodysuit with a silver plate on his back and silver gauntlets.
Lastly Shego wore a black and green cat suit with clawed gloves.
"Not good." Kitty said.
"Hey pretty Kitty." Lance said. "How about a ride on the concrete coaster!" he said and stomped the ground causing a tremor. Kim and Kitty back flipped away and took fighting stances as Rogue joined then
"I'll get the others!" Kurt said and ported.
"I'll take the girl." Kim said.
"But you're not a-." Kitty began but Kim cut her off.
"Doesn't matter." Kim said and approached Shego. "I've been wondering what you can do." Kim said.
Shego smiled and suddenly her hands flared up with green plasma.
"Oh boy." Kim said a little worried.
She quickly leaped, dodged, and evaded. Looking for an opening when a red beam hit Shego.
"Hope we didn't miss the party." Scott said in his X-outfit with Jean, Kurt, and Evan.
Scott wore a black bodysuit. Gold plates with the X logo are on both of his shoulders, with a gold X on his chest. He wore a gold visor in place of his glasses, while small gold plates protected his knee and shin areas. Along with matching gold combat boots and gloves.
Jean wore a black bodysuit with a cowl that covers her whole body except for her face, hair, and hands. Her suit has a bright green V-shaped triangle on the front and has the X logo on the side of each of her shoulders. She also wears a single bangle bracelet on each of her wrists.
Kurt's outfit was a red cuirass over a black bodysuit, white gloves, red boots, and a gold belt with the X logo.
Evan had a black bodysuit with gold shoulder plates with X logo on them with mating belt with gold gauntlets and boots.
"You guys help Kitty and Rogue. I'll handle green girl here." Kim said.
"You'll regret saying that." Shego said and took a cat-like stance.
Kim took a calming breath and took a relaxed stance.
Shego struck quickly but Kim seemed to flow around her. Her movements were fluid and Shego couldn't seem to hit her. Suddenly she blocked instead of dodging, taking Shego off guard and punching her hard in the stomach. Shego gasped as the wind was knocked out of her and she landed on her back.
Kim then turned her attention to the other battles taking place.
She noticed Evan had his hands full with Quicksilver and Toad had snatched Scott's visor. But the biggest problem was Avalanche's quakes and Blobs strength.
"Rogue!"
"A little busy here!" she said not taking her eyes off Blob as he attack her.
"Sorry about this!"
"What?"
"This!" Kim said as she touched Rouge's face a she ran passed. The surprise of it landed Kim on her back. "Okay, that one hurt." She groaned as she got back up.
"What the hell?" Rogue asked before Kim's skills kicked in. Rogue back flipped over blab and landed on his shoulders grabbing his face.
"Kurt! Get Scott's visor."
"JA!" he said and ported behind Toad, putting him in a full Nelson. "I've got him! Get the visor!" Kim gabbed the visor from Toad before he broke from Nightcrawler's hold.
"Lose something?" she asked, tossing it to Scott.
"Thanks."
"Kitty! Ground the earth shaker!"
"Oh I get it!" Kitty said and launched herself at Lance, phasing through him and the ground.
"Huh?" he asked before he sunk shoulder deep in the ground.
"Oops" Kitty said as she rose out of the ground in front of him.
"Jean grab the speedster!"
Jean picked up quicksilver but then he started spinning.
"Rogue, how's your throwing arm?"
Rogue smirked understanding what she had in mind and threw Kim into the twister where her fist connected with Quicksilver's face.
"I don't know if I should thank you or be mad." Another voice said.
Shego had recoverd and looked ready.
"Another round?" Kim asked.
"No, you've won this one."
Kim relaxed as she and her friends headed home.
"Now do you see what's bad about them?" Scott asked.
"Yeah." Kim said. But there's something about Avalanche and Shego.
"She handled herself like a pro out there." Scott told the Professor after they got home.
"I see." Xavier said. "You mother said you were physically gifted but you better than I thought."
"Thanks."
"By the way that session you wanted? Logan just finished setting it up."
"Awesome."
