Whoa, I'm so sorry that I'm off by updating. When you read and play online games, you lose track of the months. That's no excuse, right? Right. Plus, college has started and I'm working on getting started on my nursing class. I make no promises to update like every month however, I will try my best. If I get inspired, you're in luck. If not...wait a while.

Warning: All you yaoi fans and non yaoi fans should know this warning by now so with that let's continue!

Disclaimer: Every fangirl would die a happy death if we owned him, but we don't so yeah. Still can dream, can't we?

Chapter 4

Just my luck...

Sasuke was staring down at the blonde, with his smirk sitting across his face, mocking him in all it's glory. When Sakura said, it will be lucky for the bastard to find me...she clearly jinxed me and now I'm staring at him. I have no such luck. He wanted to get up and move away from the raven as far away as possible. However, his butt was glued to the seat. No, not literally, he just couldn't find a way to move without the raven making a comment about him, running away from him. He wasn't running away...he was just avoiding him, trying to put much distance in between them as much as possible. However, it seems Sasuke wasn't thinking of much of space related thoughts since he sat right beside him, not bothering to say anything else to him. Naruto thought that maybe after there last meeting, he would apologize for being rude and maybe they could strike up a great conversation (like Sakura wanted) and see how much they have in common. Wrong.

The raven sat in silence, not saying anything, to much of Naruto's displeasure since silence wasn't his cup of tea to sit with. When it came to silence, even in High School he talked so much that detention was his home, he just couldn't stay out of and to add on top of that he was seen playing pranks with Kiba on regular basis. Yeah, with detention and suspension, they should have quit by now on him to be quiet, it wasn't happening. He thought about making small talk, but he couldn't think of anything to talk about as he looked around for something to at least start out with but nothing wasn't to worthy to start with until he thought about the other day when Sakura asked for if he knew the man's name. Maybe I can ask him...better than looking around dumbly.

"So...what's your name?"

"Hn...why do you want to know?"

"I'm just asking, since we kind of got off on the wrong start yesterday."

"We didn't get off on the wrong start, you just didn't watch where you was going."

"Hey! I was willing to say excuse me, while you insult someone just because they bump into you."

"I don't always insult anyone, it's just you because you are a dobe and will always be a dobe."

Naruto's eye twitched, it seems luck was against him today! He was trying to be nice and strike up a conversation because the silence was killing him, but even if he did try, it seems the raven wasn't to interested in starting anything with him.

"All I asked was your name, I didn't ask for you to be a complete bastard!"

"Hn..."

It seems Sakura's dream of me getting with this guy, is about 5% happening! I never met a complete bastard in my life! Well, besides Sai, but this guy right here takes the damn cake and I haven't spoken to him that long even -

"Sasuke."

Wha?

Naruto blinked. Did he just answer my question?

Making sure he didn't have anything in his ears, he looked at the other man that didn't bother to move a muscle to at least turn around and stare at him but instead he was just looking away, staring at children playing. "My name is Sasuke, Sasuke Uchiha, if you didn't hear me the first time. I assume you didn't since you didn't make a sound when I told you." Ignoring the last part, Naruto leaned over trying to look at Sasuke's face.

"Well, I'm surprised that you answered me. I didn't think a teme like you would since you wasn't to willing to answer me in the first place. My name is Naruto Uzumaki, by the way."

Sasuke didn't say anything, as he ignored what the blonde said but nodded when he told him his name. He wasn't big on talking, he wasn't comfortable talking but it seems the blonde wasn't the type to linger in silence for a while because he was still trying to talk to him. Earlier he was determined to find this blonde man, trying to get to know him and possibly get more reactions out of him but now that he was right here, he just wouldn't turn his head to look at him. He had a reason for this...even in minutes of his encounter with Naruto, he felt a slight attraction to him, but it was a small attraction. It was not a big attraction that will have him, looking at the blonde male now, watching his blue eyes sparkle in the sunlight as his face held a smile on his face or his face was neutral. Not that he ever seen him smile at all, because the only thing he could get out of him now was a pout because he was dissatisfied by the silence that he graced him with. He seen it, as the blonde wasn't looking at him but he quickly focused on something else as Naruto looked back up. Silence ruled between them, if it wasn't for the constant talking, yelling or commotion that around them, then it would be drop dead silence much to Naruto's dismay.

"So, what are you doing in the park?"

Trying to get away from nosey brothers...

"It's none of your concern."

Naruto sighed, it seems he wasn't going to get anything out of him today. He might as well give up trying to talk to him, even if Sakura wanted him to, he couldn't barely get two words out of this guy. He was lucky if he got a full sentence from him, if he did, they get somewhere but now...progress with talking is reduced from 5% to 1%. Gosh, I didn't think talking to someone could be this difficult...He thought, as he sighed as frustration was getting to him.

"Look, if you can't be nice then I'm wasting my time with you. " With that, he got up off the bench and started to walk off. He rather stay single then try to work his way to get to know someone who clearly acted as if he didn't want anyone to know about his social life, not that he suspected Sasuke to have one.

"If it ever occurred to you, that maybe I am naturally quiet, it would a step closer to getting to know each other, but I guess your brain is to small to even notice anything."

Now that little comment was rude, and could possibly push him back more, because he couldn't help himself and be 'nice' for once in his life. But, if he had too, he would have to stomp on some of his pride to at least sacrifice himself to be a little nice, if he ever wanted to see this blonde angel again and by the look on his face, he could tell his comment didn't go unnoticed and he was about to get a ear full. Worth it.

"What the hell? For your information, you bastard, I have a brain and it's the right size thank you very much! Your probably to damn quiet is because maybe your probably some stuck up, little rich boy who has a giant pole up his ass and thinks he's two damn righteous to pull it out! It wouldn't kill you to have a conversation with me, would it?"

Sasuke smirked, as his smirk made the blonde even more angry. "Yes, it would kill me. I'm surprised I'm not dead, by talking to you."

"Well, if talking to me, is going to slightly kill you...wish I hope it would. Then, you could have avoided me."

Sasuke thought for a second, as the smirk was still upon his face.

"Then if I avoided you, then how would I ever try to attempt to get to know you? I came back to the park, just to get out of my house, maybe to get away from my annoying brother."

Naruto stopped walking, then turned around toward the raven as the smirk that he held was small, as his hands were in his pockets. He slowly walked toward the raven, as he stood in front of him as he crossed his arms. "Well, then if you wanted to attempt to get to know me, this would be the wrong way to do it." Naruto said, as he stared at the black orbs of the raven, as he tried to search for any emotion. There was a small hint of it, but Sasuke hid it well from.

"Well, if you think this is the wrong way to do it, then how about we try again over dinner?"

Say what now?

He can't be serious! If I even went out with him, the date would be a disaster! I can't go with him...I can't go with him...I-

"Fine, but try to get that pole out of your ass, before you take me out." MOUTH? WHAT HAPPENED? YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO REJECT HIM!

"I'll try my best."

Naruto hmph'ed at him, as he scribbled his number and address on a piece of paper, as he did this, the raven smiled at him and gave him his number, in case Naruto decided to call him. Putting the paper in his pocket, as the raven bid him a simple bye as he said, he had something to attend to, leaving Naruto standing there in the middle of the park.

"What...the...hell?"

Sakura squealed in delight, as Naruto told her what happened with his encounter with Sasuke at the park. At first she was displeased by the poor excuse for introductions, but she became satisfied when he told her he had a date with him.

"I'm so happy that your finally out there dating again! Now, did he tell you when your date is going to be?"

"No, he didn't. We exchanged numbers, so it'll probably be somewhere maybe tomorrow, or the next day."

"Maybe tomorrow or the next day? Naruto, you're clearly inexperienced since Sai has been your one and only since grade school. Not anymore, so if you will do me the honers of giving your phone to me, I will arrange the date and time." The pinkette spoke, holding her hand out as Naruto just looked at her and made no sudden move to reach for his phone.

"Sakura, what the hell do you plan to tell him?"

"Oh nothing..."

"Liar."

"Am not."

"Are too!"

"Anyway, you're not about to distract me from making this call so you might as well give me the phone, or I go in your kitchen and burn your life supply of ramen."

Naruto's head shot up in an instant. "You wouldn't..." As Sakura nodded, an evil glint her eye as she held her hand out toward the blonde again, to obtain the phone as Naruto fished it out, grumbling about 'evil friends' and 'stupid pink hair' as she made a mental note for when he gets back to his old self, she was going to show him not to call her hair stupid. It was her own style after all, whenever they were back in middle school for when Ino thought it would be funny to put pink dye in her shower and she came to school with pink hair. At first, she was going to kill her best friend, well former best friend after she was done but she came to love it, as it brought her green eyes out and mentally thanked Ino, not like she would openly thank her for the prank. She suspected she picked that up from Naruto, since he was the king of pranks. She went to Sasuke's contact, pressing message as she texted the message out in the phone as her blonde friend struggled to see what she was saying, but she pushed him away as she sent the message. Even waiting on his reply, she wouldn't give him the phone as she waited on for the alert. A few seconds later, Sasuke texted back as she looked at the message and looked back up at Naruto, who long gave up trying to see the message as he looked up at her.

"Your date will be tomorrow at 7:00 p.m., he said he will come pick you up at your house. He will be taking you out to a lovely dinner, which will probably include a small lit candle light in the back of a expensive yet private restaurant and-"

"I'm sure it's just dinner. Nothing to expensive, since I don't want to cause someone to go dry in the money department. I do that enough with my own wallet."

Sakura waved him off.

"I'm sure, it will be a lovely dinner. First dates always have to be lovely, if not then your doomed from the beginning to be together."

"I think we're doomed now..." Naruto quietly mumbled, as Sakura didn't hear his little comment, either she heard it or chose to ignore it. He was nerves of his first date with Sasuke, after all it was kind of rushed, but who knows?

Maybe his first date will go extremely well, for all he knows.

"Oh and Naruto, just in case your first date goes well and you continue to go on dates. I got you a present!" The pinkette spoke, as she held up a black male thong as she moved her eyebrows to get her point across.

"Sakura..what the hell?!"

Not a great ending, but you know I suck at those a bit. I hope I chopped and screwed the paragraphs for you a lot better. If not, well, I'm sorry for that too.

Again, sorry for the long wait, I get distracted pretty easily.

Look forward to Chapter 5!
