The boy eyed him warily. "If I bring you the other two journals will you leave my family alone?" he asked.
"Of course!" Bill exclaimed. Dipper missed the hint of insincerity in his voice.
Dipper then sighed. "Okay, I'll help you."
Somewhere in town, Wendy was walking down the street looking for any sign of her missing friend. Over the last few weeks since they moved in she became a close friend for the twins and hearing about his disappearance shocked her. She couldn't even imagine how Mabel was feeling right now.
"She's probably worried sick for him which is why I need to keep looking." She said with determination.
Wasting no time, the teen began asking people around and showing them the picture that Stan gave, but she got nothing out of them. She then made her way around a building and into an alley.
"Dipper? Are you there?" she called, her voice echoing through the alleyway, but there was no answer. Sighing, she walked out of there and saw the library.
Could he be in there? She thought as she slowly approached it and went inside. There weren't many people in the library at the moment so finding a brown-haired twelve year old wouldn't be that hard.
Just then a boy came pass Wendy wearing a dark jacket with a hood, dark jeans, and red sneakers. For some reason, she felt something familiar about the boy who passed her, but she couldn't tell what.
Could it be….Nah it can't be Dipper! He doesn't even dress like that! She quickly shook the thought away and began looking around.
Only if she knew that the boy really WAS Dipper.

Meanwhile, Dipper quietly made his way out of the town's library with the red book. Once he was outside and made sure none was following him he sighed in relief and held it in front of him.
The book was dusty and the leather cover was torn a bit, but what stood out the most was the six-fingered hand insignia with the number 1 written in bold on it. Dipper carefully placed a hand on the cover and again felt the familiar sensation he felt before when he found the third journal. Something about these books felt…..powerful, but he never knew what exactly.
Shrugging, Dipper then placed the book in his jacket and smiled. Finding this journal was easier than he expected. Maybe this deal won't be as hard as he thought. Wasting no time, he began walking down the street and into an alley.
Once he was alone, Bill became visible and floated down in front of him.
"Alright, Bill. I got the first journal." Dipper said. He then pulled out the book and showed it to him.
Bill grinned. "Nice work Pine Tree! You did well." he said with his hands on his hips. "But you still need to bring the other two journals for me to complete your side of the deal."
Dipper nodded and placed the book back into his jacket for safe keeping before walking away.
Bill watched the boy leave with an evil grin on his face.
"Okay, time to give the Pines family a visit."

Stan opened the car door and got inside followed by Mabel, both disappointed with how their searching was going.
"Kid, it's getting dark. We should call off the search and head home." Said Stan.
"But what about Dipper!?" Mabel exclaimed.
"I know, kid, but we won't be able to see anything in the dark. We'll continue tomorrow. I promise." He said assuring her.
Mabel sighed but didn't argue. Stan did have a point. Finding Dipper once the sun sets will be near impossible. "Okay,"
With that, Stan drove home silently. It only took them twenty minutes to get to the shack.
"Boy, when I get my hands on that Bill I'm gonna whip that smirk off his face!" Stan growled in annoyance.
"Who's Bill?" A familiar voice asked. Stan and Mabel froze and turned to see Soos staring at them in confusion.
The two exchange looks and smiled nervously at him. "Uhh…well…you see…he's a…."
"He's…a big jerk that Stan knows!" Mabel said, trying to sound convincing.
"Oh okay, did you find you anything?" Soos asked.
Stan shook his head. "No, we decided to call off the search and continue tomorrow."
Soos nodded in understanding. "Oh, well I'm sure we'll find him later." he said and gave Mabel an assuring smile. "Don't worry, Hambone."
"Anyway, I want you go call Wendy and tell her to head home." He told Soos. Soos saluted and hurried inside the shack.
Suddenly, the two watched as color and sound were both drained from their surroundings as if the entire forest was muted.
There was a bright flash of light and the familiar pyramid creature appeared in front of them.
"Hello Stanford and Shooting Star, did you miss me?" he asked in a sickly sweet tone.
Stan scowled while Mabel glared at the demon that kidnapped her brother.
"Where's Dipper? What did you do to him?" Mabel asked.
"Why would you think I've done something to him?" he said pouting. The two glared at him harder. "Relax the kid's fine. In fact the two of us have come to an 'agreement' and he decided to work with me." He stated.
"What!?" They both gasped in disbelieve.
"You're lying!" Stan shouted.
Mabel nodded. "Yeah, Dipper would never do that!"
Bill smirked. "Oh really? Then how about I show you?" he said and a small screen appeared in his chest showing Dipper wearing the clothes that Bill gave him , Dipper walking past Wendy without talking to her in the library and then him talking to Bill in the alley and nodding along with what the demon was saying.
Mabel felt like a ton of bricks just fell on her. No, this can't be happening. Dipper wouldn't leave her behind to help Bill. She couldn't believe it.
Dipper who helps her fall asleep when she was scared.
Dipper who saves her some cookies before Stan eats them all.
Dipper who bandaged her leg when she fell off her bike.
This can't be true…
"There has to be a mistake. Dipper wouldn't-"Mabel began, but the demon cut her off.
"Nope, the boy is smart and knows I can give him everything he wants. He doesn't want to be with you anymore." Bill said.
Tears began welling in her eyes and falling down her cheeks. What if it's true? What if Dipper really did abandon them?
"Well, I better go. Later!" Bill said and disappeared causing everything to go back to normal.
Stan looked down at the poor girl sympathetically and placed a hand on her shoulder. Mabel quickly hugged him and began sobbing against his chest.
